It sounds like it might be quite good, like to hear your oppinion on it. Ronan also has a new album coming out for Mother's Day, I just got an email. Its not new material (saving that for the new BZ album later in the year) but its an album dedicated to his mother with her favourite songs on it. Its recorded live with a live orchestra over two days sounds interesting.

Perhaps they are going to repalce him with the real Ronan on the night Still they do say that imatation is the sheerest form of flattery :lol:

Gary is on with Chris Moyles on his Monday morning breakfast show - they are going to be launching the BT Big Nose Climb then.

I heard this last night, it was co-written by Ronan and the singer does sound very much like him, but not quite as good. It has a good chorus as you say quite anthemic, but I think it sounds more like the songs on his solo albums than the stuff he has done with Boyzone, its more guitar driven. I haven't had a chance to listen to all the rest yet, although I did briefly listen to Someday - I liked that one too, and as its the fan favourite I expect that to be the winner.

They start climbing on Feb 28th :dance:

Ben did really well at the boxing against Lemar, he seems very determined, he also plays a lot of football a so I think he will have no problems with fitness. Ronan has walked across the whole of Ireland twice for charity. He also ran the London Marathon last year in under 4 hours so I'd imagaine a mountain wouldn't cause too many problems for him. Alesha seems pretty fit, and doesn't come across too girly, as does Ferne Cotton and Denise. Personnally I just don't see the two girls from GA making it, they just don't seem the type, as for Chris I'd almost put money on him not to finish :o

That's if he lasts long enough to get near the top of the mountain :lol: They will be walking fairly long distances every day so it will be quite tough on them. I wonder how many of them will drop out along the way, it will be intersting to watch and see who lasts for the whole climb. Any idea of the date they are starting out on the treck?

Interesting, aren't two of the girls surposed to be half way up a mountain then, unless they are dropping out of the Comic Relief Kilimanjaro adventure.

Why would any of them split. All those mentioned make more money through touring then they do in record sales anyway, so as long as they all get on together, and if they still all enjoy doing it why would they need/want to break up.

Its a really catchy song which had virtually no airplay untill the release date, so I guess its just peaking now. Some songs have so much airplay before release that you loose interest by the time it comes out.

I just heard Gabriella's new Xmas song "Warm Winter" on Radio 2 -wow! I think she has a hit there. Its so festive, and it has the sound of a classic 60s motown. With the majority of those doing the climb are singers, I think it would be a great idea if they all recorded the Comic Relief single together With the Take That, Boyzone and Girls Aloud fans buying it and Chris Moyles , GMTV and The Sun promoting, it would be a huge hit and hopefully make more money for a great cause. Thinking about all those involved, I wonder who of the 10 will actually make it to the summit. Somehow I just can see Cherel, Kimberly or Chris Moyles making it past to base camp :lol:

Boyzone are releasing Better on the 1st of December.

If you look back on most of their 16 past singles its always been Ronan as the main focus so nothing has changed. Stephen has shared the vocal on the odd one here and there and he does a joint vocal on their next single. Mikey has got a great voice but seems happier not to take the lead. Shane and Keith have always just done the ooooh's and aaarrrs! If they are all happy with that situation then there is no need for a change. I think it could work now as Stephen taking the lead on a song so maybe he will in the future, however I get the feeling Ronan wouldn't be happy to just sing backing vocals.
