Happy Chappy

If you look back on most of their 16 past singles its always been Ronan as the main focus so nothing has changed. Stephen has shared the vocal on the odd one here and there and he does a joint vocal on their next single. Mikey has got a great voice but seems happier not to take the lead. Shane and Keith have always just done the ooooh's and aaarrrs! If they are all happy with that situation then there is no need for a change. I think it could work now as Stephen taking the lead on a song so maybe he will in the future, however I get the feeling Ronan wouldn't be happy to just sing backing vocals.

, thanks I hadn't thought of that.

Its all a bit unfair though. I know the Boyzone fans and likewise the Will Young fans last week are having a real hard time trying to find copies of their singles to buy. They can only be bought in the larger HMV stores and they are not easy to find in the shop either. If the Sugababes were really commited in doing their bit for charity they should not have released their song to download 3 weeks before release, so that more money could be given to the charity on the back of the Boots tie-in. This way it seems its the Babes that are in a win win situation. ;)

I'm surprised that Oasis haven't broken into the top 10 yet.

I'm surprised that Oasis haven't broken into the top 10 yet.

They are going to be selling the single in Boots shops in aid of Breast Cancer, so that could tip the scales for them next week.

I wonder what the gap is between them and the Kings of Leon, hopefully they can go top 3 by Sunday. :yahoo:

Boyzone up one place to no.5

Pink is out on physical, at least I'm sure I saw it on the shelf in HMV yesterday. Oasis have the advantge of having 3 CDs to both buy and download.

Thats funny, I thought the same about "Shine" :o No accounting to taste is there :P

Boyzone out selling Oasis I cant see Liam and Noel liking that very much.

No Oasis Yet? :cheer: For Boyzone looks like a good start, hopefull they can rise some more

Any sign of Boyzone yet - I have just downloaded it this morning.

Thats the demo of the song on myspace. It was never released though. :P

The physical and download are being released together, which is probably why it didn't chart in Ireland this week.

Ronan has been married since 1998 and has 3 children the eldest is 9 the youngest is 3.

I'm liking your thinking there, great number 1 :yahoo: :cheer:

When is Oasis availble for downloading

No, I'm rather glad I did ;)

What's happened to New Kids on The Block's album?

I think McFly will do it, Its the first good song they have done, and its getting good airplay.

Can I ask, on the pre-order singles chart, is it based on just what was sold this week, or is it the accumlated sales for each single. Good sales for Boyzone must be mostly on Amazon sales because it was only avilble to pre order on hmv on Thursday.

Boyzone have switched their album release date again, its now the 13th of October.

NKOTB comeback has not gone too well in the UK, I wonder how their tour will sell next Friday.

Hmm I think the Sugababes aren't taking any chances on not getting the number 1: Sugababes Support White Ribbon Alliance The Sugababes have announced a partnership with The White Ribbon Alliance (WRA) charity. The charity helps prevent the deaths of women from childbirth/pregnancy in developing countries and the band will be contributing part of the profits from their new ‘Girls’ single to the charity. Boots retail shops will also be selling the single in store when it is released on Oct 6. This initiative is expected to be the first step in a longer relationship between The Sugababes and WRA.
