Ah ok, thanks. So that's the reason I've found strange those numbers. Cause normally, a Nº1 song has to sell al least 4,000 units in normal-weak weeks, and it can increase to 9k (like one of the weeks of "Colgado en tus manos", for example). And as you know, Shakira's Waka Waka has been selling Platinum after Platinum in less than 2 weeks of difference (it would mean 20,000 units per week in that time when the song was even more popular). But thanks so much for this information. PD: I saw songs with same number position have the same sales, sorry.

I think that chart doesn't count the total sales, cause according to Promusicae you need 2,000 units to enter the top10 and around 500 copies to debut into the top50. Otherwise, with that numbers it would be impossible for Shakira to sell 200,000 units (5 times Platinum). Maybe I'm wrong, but the positions of the songs are not the same as the chart provided by GFK to Promusicae. Why there are songs with the same number position? (like the #22). I need and explanation, please. Thanks.

The Nielsen sales you have, they are the same as media control GFK who provides the official sales in Spain? Or Nielsen count different sales? You can check it in the Promusice web site.

But Colgando en tus manos was an exception (isolated case). We don't have many songs charting at #1 for months normally. CETM is the first song certificated 10 times Platinum. Waka waka has achieved 4x Platinum currently, I think it could reach 6 at least. We'll see... but don't forget that if this song is so successful is because we won the FIFA World Cup.

Waka waka has been certified Platinum two weeks ago, and this week she achieved 2x Platinum (80,000)! So she has been selling about 20,000 copies per week.

So after the victory of the World Cup, Shakira will continue topping the charts with Waka waka... for a long time I guess.
