iTunes Chart: October 2011 (III)
I kind of feel a bit disapointed With Ur Love isn't going to be #1. I think it should have been released either a while back when the chart was a bit lazy or in the future once these big new releases have slowed down. The Labrinth/Rihanna/Professor Green wall is a very hard one to break at the moment and Cher was lucky to have at least briefly taken over RiRi and Labrinth.

43. Nick Minaj - Super Bass noo please stay in the chart for just a bit more for the nostalgia!! Suddenly get really into songs at least a month after their release -_- Buuut on the album charts: 1. Florence + The Machine - Ceremonials :D very suprised they managed to crack past Coldplay there. Its a very tough top.3 recently on both charts

I knew that but when I 'double tapped it' to see details it showed as released in 2011 not 2010  so I'm not so sure really

38. Birdy - People Help The People YESS! That made my day that it's finally cracked the top.40 at least! Now please just keep climbing. considering not much Airplay I think shed need to make it sawfly inside at least Top.30 of ITunes and stay there for the rest of the week to get a definite official Top.40 single. Also Adele - Set Fire To The Rain is the oldest song in the top.20! achievement! ^_^

I find it very sad really after how well he did with Catch 22 and how he kind of developed the grime scene and a bit made it like it is today (I know though Wiley 'created it' credit to him) and with Spaceship and off the record judged it looks like he's making a kind of new sound which has appealed so far

I'm confused a bit on how tragically bad Tinchy did with Third Strike compared with his second album (Catch 22). The timing was alright (In My System was released exactly a year from a Catch 22 release) and it was a decent song and did alright at #10 but I guess his other songs were relased at clash weeks with other big songs so he got sidetracked. I'm not sure tbh

Huge albums this Christmas?
Rebecca Ferguson's album is coming out around that time (December I think). I think it could have an Adele like success but worried she's left it a bit late really

Luckiest #1's?
Nero - Promises still in disbelief that it went to #1 also Roll Deep ft. Tania Foster - Green Light didn't have low sales or anything but was lucky to have been the main song that stopped Love The Way You Lie to become a #1

Bring Me To Life has Been around the top 40 an awful lot of times this year! just noticed. shame it hasn't entered the official top 40

:( I'm very afraid that The Wanted will get No.1 once they perform on x factor (even though they openly slagged off the show) they are on there way to a guaranteed top.4, this song is actually the definition of crap, lyrically their songs could have been written by a 6 year old and their tunes are unoriginal

iTunes Chart: October 2011 (I)
I'm suprised The Wanted have been given another performance on X Factor after they openly criticised the show and 1 Direction. I guess it's their manager with all the links who gets them on almost literally every radio station and show

in my opninion Timbaland wouldn't be anywhere had it not been for him working with Aaliyah!
-
iTunes Chart: October 2011 (I)
Don't like Pass At Me, it's like a billion over songs being made now they're all the same but because it's got Timbaland in it and I like the video style I hope its a Top.40 hit which it will either only just scrape or miss out on completely but I think it'll be a gradual grower

On air/on sale:on hold
It does work in favour of some artists but if you've noticed its those songs are UK debuts or comebacks, it's all complicated but for a UK act (Noah & The Whale and Delilah are the only british ones off that list) it doesn't really work in their favour unless it's a perfectly times follow up from a hit single. It's hard for only rising acts who haven't established themselves fully or haven't released in a while

I think Matt will definitaly crack the Top.10 but the Top 5s very strong, if wouldn't have had the obvious X Factor performance tonight (but apparently he's desperate to get rid of the x factor tag?!) his song would be only around a top.20 hut I think. But if it doesn't go No.1 I can see more ranting interviews from him

iTunes Chart: October 2011 (I)
I actually didn't even think Marroon 5 would get Top.10 at time of its release due to Radio stations like Radio 1 snubbing it, so suprised on how it's done!

On air/on sale:on hold
I'm actually very glad that it's on hold, it's good news for some artists but bad news for fans I guess the reason I hated it is because - like chipmunk said - it only works in favour of international stars and fails for unknown singers as they only gradually climb as awareness rises and finally enter Top.40 but then it's been too long on top 100 and they lose sales and all the music tv channels kind of wasted their money on really picking up on it like they did with Bring it by Jodie Connor (took it like 6 weeks to enter the top40 which was only for a week). air play timing gets messed up. So I think it should only be an option for the artist but I think it's a bad idea, most of the songs climb rapidly (What The Water Gave Me, Body And Soul) but then drop a lot and fast

poor Florence :( I will actually cry if Ceremonials is a flop! Happy for Christina climbing think if Moves Like Jagger hadn't been performed (Top.2 seems very strong this week) shed might have peaked #2 Tomorow briefly
