if any of you hadnt looked yet, adeles 21 has fall to No.4 in the albums chart now :( :D For Dionne, looks like her first top 40 hit. weird how radio 1 have dropped both her and jodie connor just as they make it to the top.40!! :(

Here are the contenders to knock her off until May 22nd (Lady GaGa has a guarenteed album No.1 im sure) Britney Spears – Femme Fatale Katy B - On A Mission Wiz Khalifa - Rolling Papers Glee Cast - The Music Vol 5 Jennifer Lopez – Love? Lady Gaga – Born This Way (May 22) So I don't think she'll get knocked off by a new entry till GaGa but she could before May 22nd (another 8 weeks) lose record sales a bit and someone else will overtake her (Rihana probably) I think but don't hope lol :)

Glad Jodie is in the Top.40 she was on series 2 of Pop Idol but didn't make it to the top. 12 but it would be great if she would turn out to be the most succesful contestant from there! And she is shockingly 29 now so I guess it is Now Or Never!

Just searched for Now Or Never on Itunes and it isn't there, I think she's brought it back a week now according to her twitter. It was doing well then! :L

Now Or Never has seemed to have just disappeared from the top 100 :o hope it's just an error!

Guess this could either be the christmas thread or part one of it! I like Whip My Hair and the energy in it and the fact that it's by a 10 year old who is also Will Smith's daughter! But I really now like Your Song and it make a great No.1 before the Christmas No.1 and it's gone so close to getting No.1 but been sidetracked by X Factor single etc and it won't get the christmas No.1 so I guess Ellie will never get a No.1 in a while :(

I've suddenly really fallen in love with Your Song the vids really lovely (hardly ever use that word lol) but sadly the chart keeps sidetracking with x factor finalists and now big new releases then there's the Christmas chart so I guess Ellie wont finally get a no.1 now :(

Just saw the vid for Your Song on hit40uk and now really hope she can finnaly get that No.1 without the chart being sidetracked by X Factor Finalists!

It would be good if Colplay get the Xmas No.1 as we'll have a christmas song as our christmas no.1 finnaly! :D

I have a feeling that sadly not many of the new entries will do well this week. There are some great ones too :( Can't believe that radio stations have snubbed new Taio Cruz song after the success of Dynamite which is confusing. And X Factor have wasted slots tonight with only one who's releasing a single this week (Nicole :) ) and then randomly Justin Bieber and The Wanted who arent releasing anything this week. The performance slot could have gone to someone else this week who needed promotion!

You guys are probably going on about how much you think The Beatles were bland and all (they're not my favourite group) but in those days my parents would be saying the same about their parents's "old music"! So in 30 years I guess that kids will be saying what we say about 50s/60s music and saying how crap Katy Perry sounds then (hard to believe I know)! :kink: I'm just saying :L Hope that Florence will make Top. 40 at least. She's nearly there! Lost hope with Hurts :(

Hurts now at #94! :D Phew!! I they and Florence now jump into the Top.40 I will be able to rest! I didn't know that Two Lives was released today :L

I kind of want all of the new songs to do well! So far JLS, Ellie, Florence (my favourite song out of the new entries) Chipmunk and Westlife will defo be in the Top.40 I but I'm kinda worried about Hurts as there hasn't been enough airplay for Stay :( I have a feeling that there's gonna be a lot of shock and drops this week though!

Hope that Kickstarts is somewhere in the Top.40 I'm sure it is
