  1. It's interesting to see that ten years ago, Mariah's We Belong Together was number 1 for 14 weeks!!! That was a huge comeback for her!!! Uptown Funk's number one reign has been amazing. That being said, it's a shame that Ellie's Love Me Like You Do will most likely miss out on the top spot at this stage.
  2. Does See You Again have a shot at number 1 next week? The song has been dominating iTunes and continuously ahead of the number two song by 70%. It's also number two on Spotify.
  3. Hmm, very interesting that they also include video streams (with YouTube Germany and myvideo.de being the larger sources). A few questions though. 1. Does "based on volume" mean unit points like Billboard? 2. What does "web entries" mean? Is it like sharing music to social media?
  4. +5 · Ellie Goulding · 'Love Me Like You Do' +4 · The Weeknd · 'Earned It' +3 · Years & Years · 'King' +2 · Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney · 'FourFiveSeconds' +1 · Maroon 5 · 'Sugar' -1 · James Bay · 'Hold Back The River' -2 · Hozier · 'Take Me To Church' -3 · Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars · 'Uptown Funk' -4 · Flo Rida ft. Sage The Gemini & Lookas · 'G.D.F.R.' -5 · Sam Smith Ft. John Legend · 'Lay Me Down'
  5. Yep. Today is the day!!! Finger crossed!!!!

It seems like Polydor was willing to make an effort with two singles with each album era (except, of course, her debut) and that's it. The difference is that I Don't Care reached number 1 and sold better than The Flood and Under The Sun, so I would think that the label and management would be motivated with the third single. I wonder if the situation might have been different if it was something like Stars, All In One Night or Coming Up For Air.
  8. I agree. Would rather have Uptown Funk be number one for four more weeks than Sugar reaching the top spot!!! Ideally, I would prefer Love Me Like You Do as the next number one!!! Poor Ed. At least he sold and streamed well!!!!
  9. Yaaaass at Talking Body adds!!!! Glad to see more people are discovering the song!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Hopefully after Talking Body's run, they will try and release Not on Drugs again. It's such a great song and the music video is wonderful!!!!
  10. Fantastic to see Talking Body continuously increasing!!! It entered the Top 50 at number 46 on Hot 100!!!! I wonder how much boost will Carly get when her song finally impacts next week? She dropped to number 68 this week, but will most likely rebound next week. Hope it's not too late for her with this song.
  11. Gutted that Style missed out on Top 10 but at least it went Gold!!!!
  12. Get that #1 Taylor!!!! Thrilled to see Zedd and Selena increasing! I love that song!!! Annoyed that Carly's new song will make radio impact on 24th!! With the track and video already released right now, I wonder why the label is delaying on radio??
  13. I wonder if Uptown has finally peaked and is now going down, same goes for Ed. I'm still surprised that Sugar continues to rise but Style will be the next number 1 in radio though, I think. As for Hot 100, many are saying that Ellie is the likely candidate to be the next #1 while Ed might miss out entirely.
  14. New Romantics up to #6 now!!! :cheer: :cheer: I Really Like You down to #25 though.  Hope the radio will help and the video will be released soon!!! It's at number 45 on Spotify and I'm sure it will go up!!!!
  15. I really really love this song and hope it goes well for her!!!!
  16. You Are In Love is likely to debut somewhere in the number 75-90 region. New Romantics (the third and final bonus track from Deluxe edition) should do much better and I'm hoping for a Top 50 debut!!!
  17. Bizarre that AlunaGeorge's You Know You Like It is on the list. I'm glad it's there but it's over two years old now. Moreover, why a remix with DJ Snake (assuming it is a remix)?
  18. My possible scenario: Friday - Top 20 rundown (with Top 20 released on OCC site while highlighting some new entries, noticeable gainers and fallers on the article) Sunday - Top 40 edition (with full Top 100 released on OCC site) Monday - Chart update (ie. "midweeks") The interviews for number 1 single can be done live on Friday or recorded during the weekend and play it on Sunday edition. At least that way, it won't seem rehearsed and forced (just in case the song don't reach number 1   ).
  19. I'm pretty much assuming that Radio 1 Chart Show will be moved to Fridays 4pm-7pm, since the chart is compiled from Friday-Thursday. Kinda saw it coming actually. I also agree, why mid-year instead of beginning of the year? Will this mean Billboard might relaunch European Hot 100, this time based on sales and streaming (Billboard does have the European singles chart, but it's based only on sales, I think and only Top 20)? Alternatively, will IFPI have a weekly worldwide singles and albums chart now that we have Friday as global launch day (again based on sales and audio streaming)?
  20. Yay for Ellie!!! I loved Figure 8 and I'm glad that NZ gave that song a proper chance to grow. Interesting fact, Cheryl's Call My Name peaked at number 13 and was certified Gold in 2012. So, NZ can chart underrated songs and give them an opportunity (Cheryl isn't really that well known in NZ).

That fall looked painful!!! But she recovered well and gave a good performance after.
  22. Looks like a neck to neck battle with Mark and Ellie!!! Taylor's You Are In Love is doing well. I'm excited to see how New Romantics will perform when it releases next week. It's one of my favourite tracks from 1989.
  23. Madonna
  24. YAAAY for Taylor hitting her third Top 10 from the 1989 album!!! I wonder where Wonderland will place next week? It was in iTunes Top 10 before dropping out on Friday.
  25. Ellie is dominating worldwide with her song!!!! Looks like GNTM helped David Guetta's song as it is the opening credits song for this season.
