Earlybird Predicta: Kylie Minogue - In My Arms
Sure. That would be good.

Earlybird Predicta: Kylie Minogue - In My Arms
Which clip is the demo version? The first or second vid?

Earlybird Predicta: Kylie Minogue - In My Arms
In my last poll, where I asked if Kylie's second single can do better than 2 Hearts, many has said as long as she releases In My Arms. Well, I listened to it (on Youtube  ) and I LOVE it! She better not make the same mistake as Rihanna (by not releasing Don't Stop The Music as her second single) and release In My Arms as her next single! The track is brilliant, in my opinion. I'm sure when the music video for this song comes, someone would make the predicta poll - but for now, here are two videos for the Earlybird Predicta: 1. UPDATE: The demo 3:38 version (which should be in her Album X - obviously the vid is fan-made) pQCMrs2xecs 2. The amazing five minutes version: where this person draws Kylie in Vector - and that person's drawing is REALLY good. 7uBMM4U9Frs UPDATE: Also, the leaked studio version (thanks •Ryan•): http://www.zshare.net/audio/4854357c5be831/ UPDATE: Also, I said Kylie SHOULD release this as her next single. I'm not saying that this is her next single, I am just saying she should - that is the main reason for the earlybird Predicta.

Will Kylie be like Shakira in 2006?
Although X is not released yet and we have not heard more new songs from Kylie, apart from 2 Hearts, I have a feeling her second single will do much better than her first. Remember in 2006 when Shakira released Don't Bother as her first release and it only reached Top 10? Well, her next single Hips Don't Lie managed a number 1 - and that was her second single (obviously). I know it might sounds quite stupid, but it's possible. The main reason for this question is that well, Leona is currently number 1 on this week's mids (not sure if it will change). So, what do you think?

2007 Track of the Year (Round Robin 16/20) - CLOSED
The 15th poll is over. Some news: 1. The twist and complication is over! The final part of the twist poll is now finished. From here and onwards, the poll will be much more simpler and easier. Apologies again if it really confused you for the last couple of weeks. But, the twist has been done and now it's time to finish the Round Robin, so that the semi-finalists can get ready. 2. Resurrecting songs: So, according to the final part of the poll, these are the orders that the song will appear (with the number of votes from Part 3 - Total Votes: 20, as of 11:30pm, November 13 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS): RR16 (this Round Robin): Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate (7 votes) RR17: Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm (6 votes) RR18: Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch You (4 votes) RR19: Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts (3 votes) RR20 (final Round Robin): Kelis - Lil' Star (0 votes) In each round robin, there will be FOUR new songs with the resurrected songs in each Round Robin. If any resurrected song is eliminated, and having no chart run (and any new songs as well), they will be competing for the 2007 Limited Track of the Year. So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated): Total Votes: 23, as of 11:30pm, November 13 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 15/20 IS CLOSED 1st. Amerie - Take Control - 5 votes/5 points (1) - 5 points (total) 2nd= Avril Lavigne - When You're Gone - 4 votes/4 points (5rpe-5rpe-2e) - 8 points (total) 2nd= Mika - Grace Kelly - 4 votes/4 points (2e) - 4 points (total) 4th= Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby - 3 votes/2 points (3-4e) - 5 points (total) 4th= Take That - Rule The World - 3 votes/2 points (4-4-4e) - 6 points (total) 6th. 2007 Track of the Year (The Twist: Part 3) - CLOSED
As said in RR15 (Link: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55552) - The latter part: Afterwards, there will be Part 3 of the twist poll where the winning songs (from each game) will be polled in one poll - to decide the order of Round Robin that they will enter. The more popular the vote, the earlier they will enter. Part 3 will close the same time as RR15, which is 11:30pm, November 13. The losing songs will compete in the 2007 Limited Track of the Year. - This means from RR16, there will be four new songs (as usual rotation) and one resurrected songs each. - Apologies for the complication, but because of the situation that RR14 has bought, it really changed the original intended twist plan. Also, I was a bit too naive into thinking that twenty new song nominations would be there in one Round Robin, especially at the time where the Round Robin is almost over (and possibly there would be only few songs left that many can think of). - Don't hate on the changing twist, as I always said, Like 2007 Track of the Year, I am still trying. So, the results (Total Votes: 22, as of 11:30pm, November 12 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS): Game 1 Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate [ 12 ] Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend [ 10 ] Game 2 Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone is Not Enough [ 7 ] Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch You [ 15 ] Game 3 Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song [ 8 ] Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm [ 14 ] Game 4 Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts [ 16 ] Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning [ 6 ] Game 5 The White Stripes - Icky Thump [ 11 ] Kelis - Lil' Star [ 11 ] So, because Game 5 led to a tie, the tie-break will be solved by the total votes that each song recieved in Part 1 of the Twist poll. In Part 1, The White Stripes had 9 votes and Kelis had 12 votes. So, Kelis will be going through and The White Stripes will be on the Limited Track of the Year. To make the explanation simpler, when the song comes first, it will be on RR16. Second place will be on RR17 and so forth - so: 1st: competing in RR16 (next Round Robin) 2nd: competing in RR17 3rd: competing in RR18 4th: competing in RR19 5th: competing in RR20 (the final Round Robin) THIS POLL WILL CLOSE AT 11:30PM, NOVEMBER 13 (SAME TIME AS RR15)!
-
2007 Track of the Year (Round Robin 15/20) - CLOSED
Hmm, I can see that happening. Could potentially work! Not to worry though. The semi-finals and the final will be much more simpler - which will happen after RR20. Also, the 2007 Limited Track of the Year will be much more simpler as well.
-

2007 Track of the Year (The Twist: Part 2) - CLOSED
As said in RR15 (Link: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55552: 1. Some changes to the next part of the twist poll. Normally, I would have recieved many new nominations for the new songs to be on the Part 2 of the twist poll. However, because there were NO nominations at all of the new songs in RR14, and I can't think of twenty songs from top of my head at once, this has actually changed the original twist I was intending. So, new changes (from original to new): - Since there were no new nominations of any new songs at all from RR14, the original twist wouldn't really work now. Plus, as said earlier, I can't think of twenty songs at once. So, any new nominations for new songs can be submitted to any Round Robins (until RR19) as usual, because of this. - There WILL be a seperate poll, but to make the poll a bit more interesting, the songs placed 6th to 10th will also take part. But, with a twist (again). Originally, five most voted songs were supposed to be polled in a poll and another poll for the twenty new songs via nominations. The more popular the vote, the earlier they will enter. HOWEVER, due to no nominations, the second part (the one with twenty new songs) could not be held. So, the sixth to tenth placed songs (there is a clear Top 10 as well as a clear Top 5) will instead take over in the twist poll. It will be in a tournament style match so, the Top 10 (in random order): - Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate vs Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend - Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone is Not Enough vs Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch You - Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song vs Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm - Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts vs Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning - The White Stripes - Icky Thump vs Kelis - Lil' Star This poll will be closed at 11:30pm, November 12. Afterwards, there will be Part 3 of the twist poll where the winning songs (from each game) will be polled in one poll - to decide the order of Round Robin that they will enter. THIS POLL WILL BE CLOSED AT 11:30PM, NOVEMBER 12!

2007 Track of the Year (Round Robin 15/20) - CLOSED
The 14th poll and the twist poll is over. Shocking news: 1. It will be in a tournament style match so, the Top 10 (in random order): - Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate vs Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend - Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone is Not Enough vs Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch You - Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song vs Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm - Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts vs Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning - The White Stripes - Icky Thump vs Kelis - Lil' Star This poll will be held closed at 11:30pm, November 12. Afterwards, there is now the Part 3 (Link: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55748) of the twist poll where the winning songs (from each game) will be polled in one poll - to decide the order of Round Robin that they will enter. 2. Leona - Bleeding Love AND Britney Spears - Gimme More These two songs are now retired, yay! It will now have a retiree poll, to decide on the final score. So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated, Green denotes being retired): Total Votes: 36, as of 11:30pm, November 10 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 14/20 IS CLOSED 1st. Predict: Rihanna - Don't Stop the Music
PAlNMaxZVTk In the UK, the song Hate That I Love You is released. It is obvious that this song will be released after, but elsewhere in Europe, the song is already released. It is already number one in France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany (Link: http://acharts.us/song/27547). So, just to get the headstart of things, when this song releases in the UK, where will it chart?

2007 Track of the Year (The Twist poll) - CLOSED
As said in RR14 (http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55185): This is a MULTI-CHOICE poll special - since there are many candidates (I recommend choosing five though). THE TWIST! Alright, here is the twist. Here at the 2007 Track of the Year, despite having retirements for the favourite songs, I feel that some overlooked songs, which had no chart runs, deserve a second chance at being the Track of the Year. Although, the eliminated songs which had no chart runs are not considered for the semis (including the semis alternate), I felt that some songs were far too overlooked. So, of the 30+ songs which had no chart runs, FIVE songs will be given another shot at trying to qualify to be the Track of the Year. This is what will happen. 1. There will be a seperate poll (this one) of the 36 songs which will be polled. The five most voted songs will be given a second chance. 2. The remaining songs will be in my spin-off poll called 2007 Limited Track of the Year - which will be explained in RR16. 3. Afterwards, there will be another poll, where the five songs and the twenty remaining new songs will be polled (the new and resurrected songs will be polled seperately in one post), to decide which order that the remaining songs will be in. In each poll, there will be four new songs and one resurrected song. The more popular the song, the better it will be in sooner Round Robins. 4. If there is are songs (resurrected or new) having no chart runs then, they will be eliminated - but will compete in the 2007 Limited Track of the Year. 5. The new tracks from this Round Robin (RR14) to the final one (RR20) having no chart runs, will also be competing in the 2007 Limited Track of the Year. Just a few thing: 1. As said in RR14, I have planned this twist back in September, when I have started this poll game of 2007 Track of the Year. 2. 2007 Limited Track of the Year does NOT mean the worst track of the year. It's just a poll for the songs which have been overlooked, having their own title. It's just like having a wide release and limited release at the cinemas. So, 2007 Limited Track of the Year still counts as being the potential best track of the year, just that they are not too popular with Buzzjack members. 3. Don't hate the twist, please. Like 2007 Track of the Year, I am still trying. THE POLL WILL CLOSE AT 11:30PM, NOVEMBER 10!

2007 Track of the Year (Round Robin 14/20) - CLOSED
The 13th poll is over. News to excite: 1. Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It The song is now retired, yay! It will now have a retiree poll, to decide on the final score. 2. Replacement issue. Normally, when a song is retired, the sixth place take over. However, by the result shown in RR13, two songs are placed fifth equal, speaking for the sixth place itself. So, in this case: These songs are safe: Sunblock - Baby Baby, Avril Lavigne - When You're Gone (both placed 5th equal) - either song would replace the retired song - both songs will get a bonus point for replacing the retired song, as well as their placings. These songs are eliminated: The Killers - Read My Mind, Timbaland f/ One Republic - Apologize, Rihanna - Shut Up and Drive, Hoosiers - Worried About Ray (all placed 7th equal) Full results will be shown below. 3. Leona - Bleeding Love AND Britney Spears - Gimme More This is the FINAL poll for these two songs, as the song is now on the poll for the fifth time. 4. Kylie vs Spice Girls: Who is more deserving at #1 (12/Nov)?
Hmm, for me, I have mixed feelings about both songs. Kylie has a brand new style showing with 2 Hearts. It sounded different at first, but it really growed on me and I like the song now. Maybe not as good as her previous ones, but it still sounds good. It is very edgy and catchy at the same time. Spice Girls' new song reminded me so much of Viva Forever (if not, almost the same). The song is OK, nothing special really. Like you said Chris, it is for Children in Need, I guess it's alright - but overall, I was really disappointed with the song. I have nothing against them - just that the song is not really that good. I don't mind them being number one on their physical week (which is the week after Kylie's physical release), but I want Kylie to win when she releases physically next week against Spice Girls' download. Overall, for me, I am in favour for Kylie to win - her song is a bit better, in my opinion.

Kylie vs Spice Girls: Who is more deserving at #1 (12/Nov)?
Even though Kylie releases on download this week, when she releases physically next week, I did not realise she was up against Spice Girls by downloads - which also releases this week (Spice Girls releases physically two weeks after). I am not sure if Kylie will be number one this week just by download. I was for certain that she was going to be at the top next week with the physicals, but since the Spice Girls' songs are talked about a lot (positive or negative), I fear that the Spice Girls might take over. As much as I DON'T want the Spice Girls to be number 1 by downloads next week, many might download them like crazy. So, because there is already a poll on who WILL be number 1, my question is, who is more DESERVING to be number one? Again, you can't say both or none - you have to make a choice.

Before this tempoary closing, there were over 30 votes casted. After the original forum re-opened, over 25 votes were taken off and there were only five votes counted. I am still happy that there are 34 votes made in RR12, but some songs which has recieved votes before the backup forum, has their votes taken away for some odd reason. Although in other cases, most songs managed to recieve MORE votes after the re-opening of Buzzjack. So, as a result, this is what I will do as a solution. - The elimination will take place as normal. - The points system will run as normal, but extra two points will be added (including the eliminated songs), as a compensation for the reopening/backup/revamp extravaganza. That does NOT mean the songs which had no chart runs will be in the semis consideration. However, they will be in the semis alternate list, contributing to the game's twist. Songs eliminated, failing to get in the Top 5 altogether - NOT qualified for the semi-finals consideration (with placings/Round Robin that the song was in): Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate (6th/RR1) Ian Brown - Illegal Attacks (6th/RR10b) The White Stripes - Icky Thump (6th/RR10b) Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone is Not Enough (7th/RR1) David Guetta - Love is Gone (7th/RR1) Kelis - Lil' Star (7th/RR4) Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm (7th/RR6) Muse - Map of the Problematique (7th/RR7) Mark Ronson f/ Lily Allen - Oh My God (7th/RR7) Kylie Minogue - 2 Hearts (7th/RR11) Eric Prydz and Floyd - Proper Education (7th/RR11) Maximo Park - Our Velocity (7th/RR11) Snow Patrol - Open Your Eyes (7th/RR11) Feist - 1234 (8th/RR2) Travis - Closer (8th/RR3) Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend (8th/RR6) Jack Penate - Torn on the Platform (8th/RR6) The Klaxons - It's Not Over Yet (9th/RR1) The Enemy - Away From Here (9th/RR2) Amy Mcdonald - Mr Rock & Roll (9th/RR2) Biffy Clyro - Folding Stars (9th/RR3) Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song (9th/RR8) Kasabian - Me Plus One (10th/RR1) Hard-Fi - Surburban Knights (10th/RR3) Dame Shirley Bassey - The Living Tree (10th/RR5) Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch You (10th/RR7) Stereophonics - It Means Nothing (10th/RR10b) Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning (11th/RR4) Axwell Featuring. 2007 Track of the Year (Round Robin 13/20) - CLOSED
The 12th poll is over. News and more news: 1. Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It This is the FINAL poll for Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It, as the song is now on the poll for the fifth time. 2. Buzzjack's Backup event and compensation. As many of you were now aware, Buzzjack has been going over some makeover (I think), and the forum was closed for a few days (hence the Buzzjack's backup forum). 3. Twist from RR16 From RR16, there will be a special twist coming along this league - maybe an additional poll! Clue 1: Limited or Alternate Clue 2: fluke Clue 3: overlooked The twist will be revealed in the next Round Robin (RR14). NOTE: I have planned this twist back in September, when I have started this poll game of 2007 Track of the Year. So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated): Total Votes: 34, as of 11:30pm, November 3 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 12/20 IS CLOSED 1st.
