  1. The eleventh poll is over. 1. Sugababes - About You Now The song is now officially retired. The song will now be in the retiree poll and it will then decide the final score. The song replacing Sugababes - About You Now is Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It, as the song came 6th. Because Sugababes - About You Now is retired, the sixth place will take over. 2. Twist from RR16 From RR16, there will be a special twist coming along this league - maybe an additional poll! 3. The second part of tenth poll is over. News: 1. Original System chosen. In my last poll, I have asked which system I should do for the remaining Round Robins. By an overwhelming majority of 72%, System A was chosen. So, the original system will be used until the final Round Robin (which is RR20). 2. Over halfway now. This is the eleventh of the twenty Round Robins. Wow! 3. Sugababes - About You Now This is the FINAL poll for Sugababes - About You Now, as the song has been in the poll five times (excluding the repeat poll). So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated): Total Votes: 28, as of 11:30pm, October 27 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 10b/20 IS CLOSED 1st. Britney Spears - Gimme More - 7 votes/5 points (1) - 5 points (total) 2nd. Leona - Bleeding Love - 5 votes/4 points (2) - 4 points (total) 3rd. 4. Full result on RR11.
  5. The first part of the tenth poll is over. News and news: 1. Improvement! Yay! RR10a had more voters, 32 in total! I'm happy to see more votes again. Let's keep it up. 2. System question. I'm not sure which system works better. My original system does work, but I think the reason why it declined was because the system got too old. On the other hand, the new system also works, but I did it because RR9 had almost no one voting. So, I will create an extra poll to decide which system I should do from RR11 to RR20 (The final Round Robin). The choices are: System A - The original system, where 10 songs are competing in one poll, the Top 5 stays and the bottom 5 gets eliminated. System B - The system used in RR10a (but made further for future Round Robins), where 10 songs are divided into 2 groups of 5. Afterwards, the 10 songs will merge, then, the placings from 1st to 10th will be decided by the number of votes from that poll. Top 5 stays and the bottom 5 gets eliminated. The only difference is that you can vote for two songs (one from each group). The points system will be the same as the original. System C - The system used in RR10a (but made further for future Round Robins), where 10 songs are divided into 2 groups of 5. The Top 2 songs from each group will be safe and the rest will be eliminated. Then, the two safe songs from each group will merge to make the Top 4 chart (1st will get 5 pts, 2nd: 4 pts, 3rd: 3 pts, 4th: 2 pts). When a song gets retired (for being in the Top 2 from either group five times), the third place from either group (whichever song has the most votes) will take over as a replacement. The points system will also be the same as the original, just that there is no fifth place. Which means, there will be six new songs each time, and four songs in total (Top 2 from each group) will be safe. For this Round Robin, I will do the original system. The system which gets the majority number of votes will be used from RR11 to RR20. So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated): Note: Because RR10a was a repeat poll from RR9 (due to insufficent votes from RR9), the four songs which are safe will be awarded three points each (as I have also said in RR10a), regardless of the placings. Also, the placings will not take into account for RR10a, but WILL be taken into account from this Round Robin (RR10b) and onwards. Total Votes: 32, as of 11:30pm, October 25 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 10a/20 IS CLOSED Group 1: 1st. Sugababes - About You Now - 15 votes/3 points - (2-1-2) + 3 points (from the repeat poll) - 16 points (total) 2nd. Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It - 7 votes/3 points - (3) + 3 points (from the repeat poll) - 6 points (total) 3rd= Calvin Harris - Acceptable in the 80s - 4 votes/eliminated (6rpe) - 1 point (total) 3rd= Editors - Smoke Outside the Hospital Doors - 4 votes/eliminated (4e-4e) - 4 points (total) 5th. Newton Faulkner - Dream Catch Me - 2 votes/eliminated (6rpe) - 1 point (total) Group 2: 1st= Reverend & The Makers - He Said He Loved Me - 8 votes/3 points (from the repeat poll) - 3 points (total) 1st= Beyonce - Green Light (Freemasons Remix) - 8 votes/3 points (from the repeat poll) - 3 points (total) 3rd. Axwell Featuring. Max C - I Found You - 6 votes/eliminated - 0 point (total) 4th= Kanye West - Stronger - 5 votes/eliminated - 0 point (total) 4th= Justin Timberlake - Lovestoned - 5 votes/eliminated - 0 point (total) Retiree poll result for Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up (Total Votes: 32, as of 11:30pm, October 25 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 10a/20 IS CLOSED): 1st. 1 pts (8 votes), 2nd. 10pts, 7 pts (5 votes), 3rd. 3 pts (4 votes), 4th. 6 pts, 5 pts (3 votes), 5th. 8 pts, 2 pts (2 pts), rest of scores (0 votes) Final score for Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up - Chart Run (4-6rp-6rp-1-1)/14 points + 5 points (for retiring) + 1 point/retiree poll = 20 points (final score) New songs this week: Leona - Bleeding Love The Killers - Read My Mind Stereophonics - It Means Nothing Britney Spears - Gimme More Ian Brown - Illegal Attacks The White Stripes - Icky Thump The current status/stats will be on the seperate reply in this post (so it won't take up much space). Also, feel free to nominate any songs which are not on the list. OK now, VOTE!
  6. You can't say all, none or between two artists. It would be interesting though if those three artists DID release their singles and/or albums on the same week. Also, who would win? And finally, who would have the highest total sales? This is similar to say who should/will win, I think.
  7. The ninth poll is over. Some news: 1. Why 10a? RR9 has reached to its lowest slump ever with only 13 votes (in total). When I first started this in September, there used to be around 50 to 60 votes, now it's just slumping. In fact, it is now in a situation where it does not have a clear Top 5 or a clear replacement anymore. So, with that in mind, ALL songs (except Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up, who have came 1st and is therefore retired) will compete again, but with a different twist. Apart from the retired song, ALL song will not be awarded points from RR9. 13 votes are not large enough to declare a clear chart. 2. The different twist Six new songs will come RR10a, making it 16 songs altogether. It will be then divided into two groups of 5. Two songs with the most votes from each group will advance to RR10b, and will be awarded 3 points each, regardless of placings. RR10b will run as usual. 3. Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up (Score: Chart run: (4-6rp-6rp-1-1) - 14 points + 5 points (for retiring) = 19 points so far) The song has made the Top 5, at number one, yay! So, the song is now officially retired and will definetely be moving to the semis. As promised, five points will be awarded for retiring, five points for being number one in RR9 and they will have one more poll where it will come from the retiree poll - where you rate the song. The score with the majority votes will be added (for example: if the majority votes goes to "7", 7 points will be added to the song's score). Retiree Poll Result for "Nelly Furtado - Say It Right" - Total votes: 13 (as of 11:30pm, October 20 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 9/20 IS CLOSED): 1st. 10 pts (5 votes), 2nd. 9 pts (4 votes) Final Score for "Nelly Furtado - Say It Right" - Chart Run (1-1e-4-2e-4e)/16 points + 5 points (for retiring) + 10 points/retiree poll = 31 points (final score) Also, feel free to nominate any songs which are not on the list. RR10b (which is the normal Round Robin, as usual) will be on 26 October (with the full current status). OK now, VOTE!
  8. Over the last few weeks, Buzzjack has been all about which song will be number 1. I say, it could be anyone. However, out of the most likely artists (listed above on the poll), which will have the least or no chance at number 1? Note: Only picking four, only selecting songs which has a VERY STRONG chance of being number one, according to Buzzjack members.
  9. 0a4itV45TZE UPDATE: Now with the official video.
  10. I have posted another post about this song, this time - it's the full song: Post: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=53836 Youtube: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=aVgydt55IBM]...h?v=aVgydt55IBM
  11. UK Singles Chart are known for making many new entries each week, especially in high places. So, just wondering, were there ever a time where ten songs have made Top 10 new entries altogether? Also, since there will be a "big chart battle" next week, do you think it will happen (if it never did)?
  12. As promised, the new update on the status: Current Top 10 - Overall (definitely moving to the semis - currently, seven songs have a clear enough score for Top 10): 1. Rihanna - Umbrella (1-1-2-1e-1/39 points - RR2 to RR6/retiree polled in RR7/retired) 2. Editors - Smoke Outside the Hospital Doors - (4e-4e/4 points - RR7 to present) 2. Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It - (3/3 points - RR8 to present) 3= Calvin Harris - Acceptable in the 80s - (6rpe/1 point - RR8 to present) 3= Reverend & The Makers - He Said He Loved Me - (6rpe/1 point - RR8 to present) 3= Newton Faulkner - Dream Catch Me - (6rpe/1 point - RR8 to present) Songs eliminated, but still in the semi-finals consideration (because they have been in the Top 5 - in the pre-semis poll round): 1= Arctic Monkeys - Fluorescent Adolescent (5-3-7/4 points - RR1 to RR2/eliminated in RR3) 1= Alex Guadino f/ Crystal Waters - Destination Calabria (3-5e-7e/4 points - RR2 to RR3/eliminated in RR4) 1= Girls Aloud - Sexy! No No No (2-10/4 points - RR3/eliminated in RR4) 1= Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape (2e-9e/4 points - RR7/eliminated in RR8) 5= Kate Nash - Foundations (3-6e/3 points - RR1/eliminated in RR2) 5= Amy Winehouse - Back to Black (3-7e/3 points - RR6/eliminated in RR7) 7= Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own (4-6e/2 points - RR1/eliminated in RR2) 7= JoJo - Too Little Too Late (4e-11/2 points - RR4/eliminated in RR5) 7= Timbaland - The Way I Are (4e-9/ 2 points - RR4/eliminated in RR5) 10= Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry (5e-8e/1 point - RR5/eliminated in RR6) 10= Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah (5e-8e/1 point - RR5/eliminated in RR6) 10= Mason vs Princess Superstar - Perfect (Exceeder) (5e-7e/1 point - RR5/eliminated in RR6) Songs eliminated, failing to get in the Top 5 altogether - NOT qualified for the semi-finals consideration (with placings/Round Robin that the song was in): Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate (6th/RR1) Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone is Not Enough (7th/RR1) David Guetta - Love is Gone (7th/RR1) Kelis - Lil' Star (7th/RR4) Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm (7th/RR6) Muse - Map of the Problematique (7th/RR7) Mark Ronson f/ Lily Allen - Oh My God (7th/RR7) Feist - 1234 (8th/RR2) Travis - Closer (8th/RR3) Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend (8th/RR6) Jack Penate - Torn on the Platform (8th/RR6) The Klaxons - It's Not Over Yet (9th/RR1) The Enemy - Away From Here (9th/RR2) Amy Mcdonald - Mr Rock & Roll (9th/RR2) Biffy Clyro - Folding Stars (9th/RR3) Aly & AJ - Potential Breakup Song (9th/RR8) Kasabian - Me Plus One (10th/RR1) Hard-Fi - Surburban Knights (10th/RR3) Dame Shirley Bassey - The Living Tree (10th/RR5) Sophie Ellis Bextor - Catch You (10th/RR7) Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning (11th/RR4)
  13. The eighth poll is over. Some news: 1. Lowest slump. Only 19 votes! Let's have some more please. 2. Nelly Furtado - Say It Right The song has made the Top 5, at fourth equal, yay! So, the song is now officially retired and will definetely be moving to the semis. As promised, five points will be awarded for retiring, two points for being 4th equal in RR6 and they will have one more poll where it will come from the retiree poll - where you rate the song. The score with the majority votes will be added (for example: if the majority votes goes to "7", 7 points will be added to the song's score). The songs which will replace Nelly Furtado - Say It Right are Calvin Harris - Acceptable in the 80s, Reverend & The Makers - He Said He Loved Me and Newton Faulkner - Dream Catch Me, for these songs came 6th equal. Because Nelly Furtado - Say It Right is now retired, the 6th place will fill in the fifth spot. 3. Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up This is the FINAL poll for Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up, as the song reached its fifth poll. So, if the song is in the Top 5, it will be retired and of course, it will be considered for semi-finals. But, as a reward for being retired, the song will get extra 5 points (for retiring), something from the bonus retiree poll, and their placing points from RR6. If the song does not get into the Top 5, the song will get 2 points instead (for being in the poll five times). So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated, Green denotes being retired): Round Robin 8/20 - Total votes: 19 (as of 11:30pm, October 20 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 8/20 IS CLOSED) Key legend: e means "placings equal" - eg. 2e means 2nd equal. rp means "replacement" - eg 6rp means the song came 6th, but it is allowed on the poll, because it replaces the song which is retired. rpe means "placings equal" + "replacement" 1st. Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up - 5 votes/5 points (4-6rp-6rp-1) - 9 points (total) 2nd. Sugababes - About You Now - 4 votes/4 points (2-1-2) - 13 points (total) 3rd. 15. The seventh poll is over. Notice people!: 1. Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) The song has made the Top 5, at fourth equal, yay! The song which will replace Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) is Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up (again!), for the song came 6th. Because Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) is now retired, the 6th place will fill in the fifth spot. 2. Nelly Furtado - Say It Right This is the FINAL poll for Nelly Furtado - Say It Right, as the song reached its fifth poll. 3. Rihanna - Umbrella The Retiree poll for the song happened in RR7, and the majority votes came to "10". So, 10 points will be added to their final score (full results will be posted later on). 17. The sixth poll is over. Some news: 1. Rihanna - Umbrella and replacement The song has made the Top 5, at number 1, yay! So, the song is now officially retired and will definetely be moving to the semis. As promised, five points will be awarded for retiring, five points for being 1st in RR5 and they will have one more poll where it will come from the retiree poll - where you rate the song. The song which will replace Rihanna - Umbrella is Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up, for the song came 6th. Because Rihanna - Umbrella is now retired, the 6th place will fill in the fifth spot. 2. Lowest turn-out. On RR6, we have had the lowest turn-out of votes - only 31 :( ! Let's have some more please! 3. Clear Top 5! Despite the disappointing total numbers, we FINALLY have a clear Top 5! So, SIX (after the retiring and replacing stuff) songs will be eliminated from RR6. From this poll, it will go back to the ten candidates, since there was a clear Top 5 on the last one. 4. Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar The Retiree poll for the song happened in RR6, and the majority votes came to "7". So, 7 points will be added to their final score (full results will be posted later on). 5. Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) This is the FINAL poll for Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control), as the song reached its fifth poll. But, as a reward for being retired, the song will get extra 5 points (for retiring), something from the bonus retiree poll, and their placing points from RR6. If the song does not get into the Top 5, the song will get 2 points instead (for being in the poll five times). So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated, Green denotes being retired): Round Robin 6/20 - Total votes: 31 (as of 11:30pm, October 13 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 6/20 IS CLOSED) 1st. 18. Leona. Although, Britney being be a download release (since her physical don't come until November 5), people might download her like crazy! Also, where is Avril? Her latest vid was more talked about than the last one.
  19. Definite number one single! Quite different, but it's still good ^_^ !
  20. I checked the new release schedule and will.i.am is nowhere to be seen. So far, it peaked at number 38 and it fell to number 47 this week. Was it a download only release? Even if it was a download only release, reaching number 38 is not that good. I'm saying this because Fergie manages Top 10/20 for virtually all of her singles, so I was assuming will.i.am might do the same. So, was it rightfully a flop, or was it unfairly overlooked?
  21. As promised, the new update on the status: Current Top 10 - Overall (definitely moving to the semis - currently, nine songs have a clear enough score for Top 10): 1. Rihanna - Umbrella (1-1-2-1e/19 points - RR2 to present) 2. Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar (1-5-5e-4e-5e/15 points - RR1 to RR5/currently on retiree poll) 3= Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat (2-2-4-7e/10 points - RR1 to RR3/eliminated in RR4) 3= Nelly Furtado - Say It Right (1-1e/10 points - RR4 to present) 5. Kate Nash - Foundations (3-6e/3 points - RR1/eliminated in RR2) Songs still in the game, and in the semi-finals consideration (in the pre-semis poll round): 1. Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up - (4/2 points - RR5 to present) 2= Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry - (5e/1 point - RR5 to present) 2= Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah - (5e/1 point - RR5 to present) 2= Mason vs Princess Superstar - Perfect (Exceeder) - (5e/1 point - RR5 to present) Songs eliminated, but still in the semi-finals consideration (because they have been in the Top 5 - in the pre-semis poll round): 1= Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own (4-6e/2 points - RR1/eliminated in RR2) 1= JoJo - Too Little Too Late (4e-11/2 points - RR4/eliminated in RR5) 1= Timbaland - The Way I Are (4e-9/ 2 points - RR4/eliminated in RR5) Songs eliminated, failing to get in the Top 5 altogether - NOT qualified for the semi-finals consideration (with placings/Round Robin that the song was in): Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate (6th/RR1) Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone is Not Enough (7th/RR1) David Guetta - Love is Gone (7th/RR1) Kelis - Lil' Star (7th/RR4) Feist - 1234 (8th/RR2) Travis - Closer (8th/RR3) The Klaxons - It's Not Over Yet (9th/RR1) The Enemy - Away From Here (9th/RR2) Amy Mcdonald - Mr Rock & Roll (9th/RR2) Biffy Clyro - Folding Stars (9th/RR3) Kasabian - Me Plus One (10th/RR1) Hard-Fi - Surburban Knights (10th/RR3) Dame Shirley Bassey - The Living Tree (10th/RR5) Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning (11th/RR4)
  22. The fifth poll is over. Before the official results, here are the news: 1. Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar The song has managed to be fifth equal (with three other songs!), yay! So, the song is now officially retired and will definetely be moving to the semis. As promised, five points will be awarded for retiring, one point for being 5th in RR5 and they will have one more poll where it will come from the retiree poll - where you rate the song. The score with the majority votes will be added (for example: if the majority votes goes to "7", 7 points will be added to the song's score). 2. Four-way tie and replacement I am not sure how that is possible, but it is a new record. It is now in a situation where I have to eliminate SEVEN songs if there is a clear Top 5. Normally, the song after the fifth place would take over. In this case, "Timbaland - The Way I Are". However, because there are three songs (excluding the retired song) in fifth equal, that speaks for the sixth place altogether (in terms of ties and stuff). Timbaland would technically be placed ninth, so that song will be eliminated - sorry about this. 3. Rihanna - Umbrella This is the FINAL poll for Rihanna - Umbrella, as the song reached its fifth poll. So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated, Green denotes being retired): Total votes: 52 (as of 11:30pm, October 9 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 5/20 IS CLOSED) It reads like this: Placings. Artist - Song - Votes/Points awarded (chart run) - total points 1st= Nelly Furtado - Say It Right - 11 votes/5 points (1-1e) - 10 points (total) 1st= Rihanna - Umbrella - 11 votes/5 points (1-1-2-1e) - 19 points (total) 3rd. Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) - 10 votes/3 points (3-3-3) - 9 points (total) 4th. JoJo - Too Little Too Late - 0 vote  /eliminated (4e-11) - 2 points (total) New Songs this week: Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm Amy Winehouse - Back to Black Sugababes - About You Now Jack Penate - Torn on the Platform Waiting List/Coming Soon: Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape (in RR7 - Since Gwen competed in RR4 - for the track "4 in the Morning", too soon for RR6) The current status/stats will be on the seperate reply in this post (so it won't take up much space). Also, feel free to nominate any songs which are not on the list. OK now, VOTE!
  23. Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars is now in its 57th weeks in the charts. I was confident it would be dropped off last week (because it was at number 75), but instead it jumped 10 places to number 65! Wow! Now with the download rules being more lenient (I think) than ever, it could be possible that the song could survive 100 weeks.
  24. The fourth poll is over. The results are (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated): Total votes: 60 (as of 11:30pm, October 6 - NOT TAKING ANYMORE VOTES AFTERWARDS AS ROUND ROBIN 4/20 IS CLOSED) It reads like this: Placings. Artist - Song - Votes/Points awarded (chart run) - total points 1st. Nelly Furtado - Say It Right - 16 votes/5 points (1) - 5 points (total) 2nd. Rihanna - Umbrella - 14 votes/4 points (1-1-2) - 14 points (total) 3rd. Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) - 6 votes/3 points (3-3) - 6 points (total) 4th= Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar - 4 votes/2 points (1-5-5e-4e) - 9 points (total) 4th= JoJo - Too Little Too Late - 4 votes/2 points (4e) - 2 points (total) 4th= Timbaland - The Way I Are - 4 votes/2 points (4e) - 2 points (total) 7th= Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat - 3 votes/eliminated (2-2-4-7e) - 10 points (total) 7th= Alex Guadino f/ Crystal Waters - Destination Calabria - 3 votes/eliminated (3-5e-7e) - 4 points (total) 7th= Kelis - Lil' Star - 3 votes/eliminated (no runs) - 0 point (total) 10th. Girls Aloud - Sexy! No No No - 2 votes/eliminated (2-10) - 4 points (total) 11th. Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning - 1 vote/eliminated (no runs) - 0 point (total) Since three songs are fourth equal, like last time, ALL THREE will go to the next round. Five songs will be added as normal and SIX songs will be eliminated, should there be a clear Top 5 (which I hope it will). Also, thanks so much for the suggestions/nominations. Unfortunately, five songs can fill the slot. However, the remaining songs will be on the "Waiting List/Coming Soon" and they will be guaranteed a spot in future Round Robins (as stated). So, new songs this Round Robin (big thanks to Jack, Chris_2k7 and Russt68 for the nominations): Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah Dame Shirley Bassey - The Living Tree Siobhan Donaghy - Don't Give It Up Mason vs Princess Superstar - Perfect (Exceeder) Waiting List/Coming Soon: Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend (in RR6) Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm (in RR6) Amy Winehouse - Back to Black (in RR6) Gwen Stefani - The Sweet Escape (in RR7 - Since Gwen competed in RR4 - for the track "4 in the Morning", too soon for RR6) ALSO BONUS NEWS: This is the FINAL poll for "Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar", as they have reached their fifth poll. So, if the song is in the Top 5, it will be retired and of course, it will be considered for semi-finals. But, as a reward for being retired, the song will get extra 5 points (for retiring), "something from the bonus retiree poll", and their placing points from RR5. Plus, there will be a "bonus" retiree poll, which I will tell in the next Round Robin - But only if the song retires. However, if the song fails to be in the Top 5, they will still be in the semis consideration - but the song will get 2 points (from this Round Robin (RR5)), for being in the poll five times. If the song does retire, the song which have been placed sixth will automatically be promoted to fill in the fifth spot (as a replacement for "Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar" in RR6) and will be awarded 1 point. Songs still in the game, and in the semi-finals consideration: 1. Rihanna - Umbrella (1-1-2/14 points - RR2 to present) 2. Beyonce f/ Shakira - Beautiful Liar (1-5-5e-4e/9 points - RR1 to present) 3. Groove Amarda f/ Mutya Buena - Song 4 Mutya (Out of Control) (3-3/6 points - RR3 to present) 4. Nelly Furtado - Say It Right (1/5 points - RR4 to present) 5= JoJo - Too Little Too Late (4e - RR4 to present) 5= Timbaland - The Way I Are (4e - RR4 to present) Songs eliminated, but still in the semi-finals consideration (because they have been in the Top 5): 1. Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat (2-2-4-7e/10 points - RR1 to RR3/eliminated in RR4) 2= Arctic Monkeys - Fluorescent Adolescent (5-3-7/4 points - RR1 to RR2/eliminated in RR3) 2= Alex Guadino f/ Crystal Waters - Destination Calabria (3-5e-7e/4 points - RR2 to RR3/eliminated in RR4) 2= Girls Aloud - Sexy! Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own (4-6e/2 points - RR1/eliminated in RR2) Songs eliminated, failing to get in the Top 5 altogether - NOT qualified for the semi-finals consideration (with placings/Round Robin that the song was in): Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate (6th/RR1) Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone is Not Enough (7th/RR1) David Guetta - Love is Gone (7th/RR1) Kelis - Lil' Star (7th/RR4) Feist - 1234 (8th/RR2) Travis - Closer (8th/RR3) The Klaxons - It's Not Over Yet (9th/RR1) The Enemy - Away From Here (9th/RR2) Amy Mcdonald - Mr Rock & Roll (9th/RR2) Biffy Clyro - Folding Stars (9th/RR3) Kasabian - Me Plus One (10th/RR1) Hard-Fi - Surburban Knights (10th/RR3) Gwen Stefani - 4 in the Morning (11th/RR4) Also, feel free to nominate any songs which are not on the list.
