I'm not surprised Isaiah debuted low on the singles chart, in comparison to previous winners. The whole season TXF was a mess really from a very abridged season to very low ratings. Even last year's winner Cyrus didn't do so well in the charts after his winner's single. Interestingly enough, The Voice winner's song, with its much higher ratings, only made #89 peak. Either it's the often-reasoned musical reality show fatigue and / or the songs were not that appealing to begin with. Metallica was the clear winner on the album's chart in sales. Little Mix and Bruno Mars sold rather decently in 2016 market for their first week.

Ouch at GaGa dropping 20 places this week. Although Perfect Illusion has been dropping (or falling out of the charts entirely) like crazy everywhere else too. Side to Side is becoming a hit now, which is great to see. Taylor Henderson, an X Factor alumni, made the charts with Light Up The Dark. That song is a soundtrack for a new Aussie movie called Spin Out. I have seen that trailer many times at the cinemas. Spin Out tanked at the box office, only debuting at #11 with an unimpressive per-theatre average. Hope you get better soon, DircaDirca!!! :wub: :wub:

GaGa fared better in Australia than I thought. A #14 entry is good but I think it will drop. Just by a few places maybe. It's a much better placing than NZ, where it debuted at #31. Glad to see Sia reach #2 and Side to Side is performing above what I expected internationally. I see Ellie dropped one place, despite Bridget Jones' Baby having an advanced screening last week. It will definitely improve next week though, with the film being released nationally. Zara is skyrocketing both in Australia and NZ, which is great to see. Good retention for Anne-Marie as well. Not surprised really as V Hits still plays her video quite a lot. I wish Cool Girl placed higher.
