There, Hamilton, Tom Odell and Christina Grimmie's EP made the list. Also, certifications for singles have increased to 15,000 units for Gold (combined sales/streaming equivalent) and 30,000 units for Platinum. About time too, as virtually any single which have made the charts in four weeks was a guaranteed Gold. The album certification thresholds remains the same. :lol: :lol:

I wouldn't be surprised if the singles certification threshold will be in millions now. :lol: :lol: The threshold for Gold and Platinum certifications should be very interesting since the formula is now "equivalent streams". How popular is Deezer in France? Drake got 975,000 streams from Spotify last week while Sia got 626,000 (Source: http://kworb.net/spotify/country/fr_weekly.html ) Considering the numbers Drake and Sia got for chart streaming this week, I'm assuming Deezer is just as popular as Spotify in France. It's good that Amir and Celine Dion managed to have a Top 5 placing before the integration happened, as both are not huge streaming artists.

Hopefully Lush Life and Stay make the Hot 100. They are still consistently doing well on Spotify but I do wonder how they are doing on Youtube, since it contributes heavily to streaming points as much as Spotify (or maybe more). But yeah, both songs really need sales and especially radio to go further. Good news for Lush Life as it is #2 on this week's Bubbling Under whereas Stay is #15.

Out of the Woods was really not a good choice for a single. It really screamed just an album track to me. Granted, they did shoot a great video. In all honesty, Taylor should have ended the era at single #5 with New Romantics instead of Wildest Dreams.

It looks like getting certified in NZ is really easy now!!!! This week, 16 of Top 20 singles have been certified at least Gold (7,500 units). The four other singles in the Top 20 has basically been in the charts for less than a month! Going further down at 21-40, two new entries and Kilara's Gold aside (3rd week in chart), virtually all singles are certified. Halsey's New Americana is also at Gold threshold, despite not entering the Top 40 at all (9th week at Heatseekers)! Platinum is 15,000 units. 25 of Top 40 singles this week are certified at least Platinum or higher!

Glad it won over other two finalists. Ghost sounds better on the third listen but hasn't grown on me yet.

I agree AdamAloud. There is something very underwhelming about all three Superfinalists. Though of the three, I'd rather see Ghost go to Stockholm.

I see Uptown Funk made its comeback after winning Record of the Year!!!! It will most likely drop off again next week. Looks like Ellie's On My Mind is set to go recurrent next week as it's now on week 22 and likely to fall out of Top 50. Wished the song peaked at Top 10 though.

Oh, the possibilities!!! :D :D I saw past MelFest final results after they announced the new system today. From the nail-biting 2014 finals (seriously, Sanna beat Ace by only two points!!) to David Lindgren's reaction to his televoting results in 2013 (and Robin's reaction when he found out he won).

Thank you Vülker!!! Interesting how Sweden would have had a miles lead over Italy (as they jumped to second place). Imagine the voting read out then (Italy came 1st in televoting)!!!! I agree that Germany and Austria didn't deserve those 0 points as I liked their songs. Heartbreaking to see that Spain would have fared much worse under the new system, as well as Slovenia.

Had the new voting results/announcement system adapted last year, it would have been very awkward for Austria when it's time to read out the televoting results, as they received 0 points from it. In 2014, France managed only 1 point from televoting.

I love her Sanremo song as well!!! If she sticks with that song, it has a good chance to do well.
