  1. Big mess at Billboard. I was actually excited for a second before I began to suspect something didn't add up with digital sales. At least she is likely to hold up next week, thanks to her video being released.
  2. You're right!!! They got Adam and Lost Frequencies' numbers right. The Weeknd's total is off only by 10 and Delta is way off. Now looking at it, I am assuming their physical sales are being counted but not being released from the source I got it from, which might be the case. I find it interesting that CFMF has sold 10 copies from stores that week. I also remember seeing Samantha Jade performing at a club a few weeks back and they were giving away free CDs of her latest song!!
  3. Figures: Delta - 18010 (15760 sales + 750 stream unit points) - could explain her absence from Spotify Daily 50 all week. Adam - 16330 (14830 sales + 1500 stream) The Weeknd - 15090 (11840 sales + 3240 stream) - #1 this week in stream Lost Frequencies - 14900 (12950 sales + 1950 stream) The Voice is really helping guest performers do very well in the charts this season. Their ratings are far from their gigantic days, but still does very well. Good for Demi to enter Top 20.
  4. Damn, The Hills is still at #11!!!! Happy that CFMF is finally #1 though!!!! Also excited to see Lean On entering Top 5 in the US!!
  5. Next week's chart should be interesting. Adam is still doing very well and was #1 on iTunes until an hour ago, I think. Delta's Wings is now iTunes #1 after her Voice performance, with Adam at #2. Demi should benefit too as she also performed on The Voice. On Spotify, Adam is currently miles ahead of the three, as he is number 25 and Demi and Delta will probably make impact tomorrow as the daily chart was updated 2 hours ago. Adam is a likely #1 for next week as he had the weekend advantage. Delta might catch up in the next four days but streaming might slow her down. Demi is increasing also; she might make Top 10 but that's tough to call.
  6. Oh dear. Another single effort gone to waste. They did this with Not on Drugs (which has an official music video) and now with Timebomb. Why can't her label/team commit to a single release? I fear Tove might lose momentum for the rest of her Queen of the Clouds era.
  7. That's a huge drop for Maroon 5. Looks like they are fading out very quickly. Good to see Jess still holding on and I hope the audience for this song will grow. It would be nice if this can pull a Talking Body and become a sleeper hit.
  8. Really happy to see Lean On finally reach Top 10 in the US!!!! Interesting to see Shake It Off and Style still hanging on to Top 50, especially since Blank Space is already gone and SIO looked like it was going to drop out this week.
  9. I see. Thank you. :cheer: :cheer:
  10. Yay Tove Lo!!!! Hoping Timebomb will do well for her. Is 24 weeks the maximum week for a song to chart before going recurrent, no matter what placing they are in that week?

  13. I mainly use Spotify Premium. With Apple Music launching today, I may use both as there are some songs that are not on Spotify that may be in Apple Music (ie. Taylor Swift, although I have already bought 1989 and some other songs).
  14. It should be interesting how much boost Taylor will get with her 1989 singles and album. Won't do much this week, but the amount of impact should be interesting in the next few weeks. Apple Music will obviously have a big of an impact as Spotify and Deezer (which is huge in France). Looks like TIDAL is fading further and further away.
  15. 2013 was a very great year for me in music. Perhaps the most competitive selection I made of the ROTD series.

  19. Gutted that Talking Body's chances of being in the Top 10 are done now. Numbers are slowing down and Timebomb video just released this week. That being said, I am very happy the song did well as it did by peaking at number 12. Plus, Talking Body sold and streamed well and had an impressive radio peak audience. I initially thought it would spend a month in the Hot 100 and that's about it since Not on Drugs didn't even release, despite making a video for it. So, I'm glad Talking Body built momentum and found success. Hoping Timebomb will do well.
  20. The Power of Taylor Swift (or as Taylor's sales forum title in ChartsinFrance, "Never Underestimate The Power of Taylor's Sales")!!!! Gutted that Carly, Briggy and Galantis flopped on Pop radio. Saw it coming, but gutting nonetheless.

  24. Good for Muse and it seems like a quite a drop for Florence sales wise, despite only going down a few places. Impressive for Taylor still being in Top 2 after 33 weeks in the albums chart!!!!
  25. Another interesting trivia about this week's Top 10: Nine of Top 10 songs have been certified. Lean On and Want to Want Me have been certified Platinum. SYA on Double Platinum and the rest are on Gold threshold. Flashlight (#8) is the only track not certified. Further down Top 20, Shut Up and Dance on Platinum, Uptown Funk on 4x Platinum and Cheerleader on Double Platinum. The rest on Gold certification with the exception of Someone New, which is not certified yet.
