"Beautiful Liar" (with Shakira) • Fourth Single
$h!tty song, c**p video... At least Shakira looks really hot, and Beyonce does look good... The song will be a huge hit... but that will happen just because of the popularity of Beyonce and Shakira... They could have come up with something way superior... Shakira should have changed the song Beyonce "wrote" for her...

Timberlake Scores Third Hot 100 No. 1 From 'FutureSex' http://www.billboard.com/billboard/photos/art/t/timberlake_justin_02l.gif Justin Timberlake February 22, 2007, 10:15 AM ET Jonathan Cohen, N.Y. Justin Timberlake scores his third No. 1 hit from the Jive album "FutureSex/LoveSounds" this week as "What Goes Around, Comes Around" zooms 8-1 in its 11th week on the Hot 100. The cut also enjoyed a 143% sales gain and a 9-1 climb on the Hot Digital Songs tally following its performance on the Feb. 11 Grammy Awards. Back on the Hot 100, Ludacris' "Runaway Love" featuring Mary J. Blige, which was also performed during the Grammys, rises 5-2. Last week's chart-topper, Nelly Furtado's "Say It Right," drops to No. 3, followed by a No. 4 re-entry for the Dixie Chicks' multiple Grammy-winning "Not Ready To Make Nice" after a 20-week absence. The track also rockets 43-2 on Hot Digital Songs, a 410% increase over the previous week. A sales spike of this nature for an older title would not usually warrant a Hot 100 re-entry, but in this case, "Nice" recently charted on the Adult Top 40 tally and is being actively reworked to adult formats. Akon's "Don't Matter" jumps 11-5 on the Hot 100, his fourth top five hit since October, including his guest turn on Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape," which drops 3-6. Daughtry's "It's Not Over" falls 6-7, followed by Gym Class Heroes' "Cupid's Chokehold" featuring Patrick Stump, down 7-8. Beyonce's former No. 1 "Irreplaceable" plummets 2-9, while Fall Out Boy's "This Ain't a Scene, It's An Arms Race," slips 4-10. Rapper Mims' "This Is Why I'm Hot" is the chart's fastest growing track at radio for a third week in a row and rises 46-32. The top debut of the week belongs to Corinne Bailey Rae's "Like a Star" at No. 56. The artist performed the song as part of a segment with John Legend and John Mayer during the Grammys. Mayer's song from that performance, "Gravity," is new at No. 71, followed by Toby Keith's "High Maintenance Woman" at No. 73 and the Fratellis' "Flathead" at No. 75. Robin Thicke's "Lost Without U" is No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a second week, while George Strait remains atop Hot Country Songs with "It All Comes Natural," his 42nd No. 1 on that chart. On Hot Latin Songs, Mana's "Manda Una Senal" explodes 22-1 to overtake Luis Fonsi's "Tu Amor," which slips to No. 9. Mana's prior No. 1 on this chart, "Bendita Tu Luz" also rises 8-7. After one week at No. 1, Mayer's "Waiting on the World To Change" falls back to No. 2 as Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" moves back on top. The latter song had already spent 10 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1. Three Days Grace rules both Billboard's Modern and Mainstream Rock charts with "Pain." The song had been held off from No. 1 on Modern Rock for five weeks by the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Snow (Hey Oh)" but has now spent 11 leading Mainstream Rock. Full list Norah Rebounds To No. 1 In Post-Grammy Week http://www.billboard.com/billboard/photos/art/j/jones_norah_05l.gif Norah Jones February 21, 2007, 10:55 AM ET In a week where the top nine albums moved more than 100,000 units, Norah Jones' "Not Too Late" tops The Billboard 200 for a second time. The Blue Note effort crowned the list when it debuted two weeks ago with 405,000 copies. This week, the album moved 211,000 in the United States according to Nielsen SoundScan, sliding up 2-1 despite an 11% sales drop. Late R&B singer Gerald Levert's "In My Songs" (Atlantic) bows at No. 2 with 165,000, his highest charting album ever and his best sales week since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. Like Jones, Levert's sales were likely fueled in part by Valentine's Day gift purchases. While the romantic holiday encouraged buyers into stores, the Grammy Awards also had a major impact on sales this week. The "Grammy Nominees 2007" compilation rises 7-3 this week with 131,000 and 116% surge in sales, while Grammy performer and nominee Corinne Bailey Rae's self-titled Capitol debut ascends 9-4 with 120,000 and a 132% increase. Justin Timberlake's "FutureSex/LoveSounds" (Jive) climbs 10-7 with a 123% increase to 108,000, following his two performances during the show. Unsurprisingly, the Dixie Chicks' "Taking the Long Way" (Columbia) experiences the biggest increase on the chart this week. The album, which spawned five Grammys last Sunday, rockets 72-8 with a 714% sales boom to 103,000 copies. It sold 12,700 the week before. Other Grammy performers that earned sales increases this week include John Mayer's "Continuum" (29-10, 80,000, 182%), Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Stadium Arcadium" (39-12, 194%), Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" (19-13, 60%), Mary J. Blige's "The Breakthrough" (57-21, 161%), John Legend's "Once Again" (51-23, 138%), Beyonce's "B'Day" (stays at No. 25, 13%), Christina Aguilera's "Back to Basics" (58-41, 66%), Gnarls Barkley's "St. Elsewhere" (111-44, 192%), Tony Bennett's "Duets: An American Classic" (95-45, 147%), Ludacris' "Release Therapy" (65-48, 64%) and T.I.'s "King" (152-137, 25%). Back in the top tier, last week's chart-topper, Fall Out Boy's "Infinity on High" (Island), falls to No. 5 with 119,000 (-54%). Robin Thicke's "The Evolution of Robin Thicke" (Star Trak/Interscope) stays put at No. 6 despite a 90% increase to 116,000. Daughtry's self-titled RCA debut slips 3-9 with a 34% jump to 102,000. Country veteran Lucinda Williams scores her best charting effort with the Lost Highway album "West," which bows at No. 14 with 57,000. Her last studio set, 2003's "World Without Tears," started at No. 18 with 54,000. A compilation of Van Morrison songs utilized on the big screen, the aptly titled "Van Morrison at the Movies" (EMI), debuts at No. 35 with 29,000. Album sales are up 12.7% from last week's total at 11 million units but down 10.5%% compared to the same week in 2006. Overall albums sales for the year are down 15% from the year before at 64.3 million units. Full list

The bad news: It registers the lowest sales total for a No. 1 album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991 ... In other news this week, Carly Simon parlays a dead week for new releases (plus a QVC stop) into a top 20 debut ... As The Billboard 200 continues to adjust in the post-Christmas haze, many titles ascend the tally, including Daughtry, Rascal Flatts and Corinne Bailey Rae ... Other acts that make big moves this week include Damien Rice, Shiny Toy Guns, Queen and Journey ... In Progress Reports, we've got updates on Justin Timberlake, Rob Thomas, Chris Brown, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Brad Paisley, the Wreckers and Modest Mouse. FLASH POINTS • The "Dreamgirls" soundtrack moves to No. 1 on The Billboard 200 this week, making it the first film soundtrack to rise to the top since "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" climbed to No. 1 in 2002. "Dreamgirls" is the fourth soundtrack to hit No. 1 in the past year, following "Curious George," "High School Musical" and "Hannah Montana." Also, "Dreamgirls" is the first movie musical soundtrack to hit No. 1 since 1978's "Grease." (That's discounting the soundtracks from animated features like "The Lion King" and Prince's 1984 quasi-musical "Purple Rain.") • Unfortunately, the "Dreamgirls" achievement is marred by a rather significant milestone -- with a woeful 66,000 units, it's the smallest figure for a No. 1 album since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking data in 1991. Previously, the lowest No. 1 total belonged to OutKast's "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below" when it did 86,000 in January 2004. So far, there have been only 10 weeks where the No. 1 album sold less than 100,000. Half of those occurred from 1991-1994. OutKast's album fell below 100,000 twice in 2004, Jamie Foxx's "Unpredictable" did 97,000 in January of 2006 and Johnny Cash's "American V: A Hundred Highways" started with 88,000 last July ... It should be noted that there are two editions of the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack. The single-disc version is at No. 1 this week, and it serves as a highlights set of music from the film. At No. 51 sits "Dreamgirls: Deluxe Edition," a two-CD expanded album with a higher price tag and many bonus songs not found on the single-disc album. The two versions sold a combined 85,000 copies. • It's looking good that another soundtrack, from Disney Channel's movie "Jump In!," could make a handsome debut next week. The TV film stars "High School Musical's" Corbin Bleu, and it premieres Jan. 12. The soundtrack not only features Bleu, but also Drew Seeley. The latter is familiar to "High School Musical" fans, as he provided most of the singing voice of "Troy," the character Zac Efron played in the movie. Seeley is currently on tour with the "High School Musical" cast (minus Efron) through the end of the month. • As The Billboard 200 adjusts to its non-holiday normality, a lot of titles surge one way or the other on the tally. With the overall albums market down 35% compared with last week, the smaller decline in sales you have, the bigger the chart jump you'll make. For example, Daughtry's self-titled album rockets 11-3 even though it's down 27%. Other releases that make sizable position gains are the "Hannah Montana" soundtrack (10-6, down 40%), Rascal Flatts' "Me and My Gang" (22-13, down 29%), Nickelback's "All the Right Reasons" (20-18, down 37%) and Nelly Furtado's "Loose" (29-21, down 23%) ... Nickelback's set is still going strong 66 weeks after its release. With 4.7 million and counting, it has ranked in the top 30 every week since it bowed ... Furtado's album is on the comeback trail, thanks to her current single "Say It Right." The tune rises 9-7 on the CHR/Top 40 chart this week and is also charting on Hot AC/Adult Top 40 and Rhythmic Top 40. Her album started strong last summer thanks to her No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit "Promiscuous" but took a slide as the set's second single, "Maneater," failed at radio. The album has sold 1.2 million to date. • Carly Simon takes advantage of a dead week in terms of new releases and bows with her new album, "Into White," at No. 15 (40,000 units). The collection of pop standards and lullabies features such classics as "Blackbird," "Oh! Susanna," "Over the Rainbow" and "You Are My Sunshine." The set should get a big boost in the coming weeks, as Simon appeared on "Good Morning America" yesterday and visits "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Jan. 16. The album's debut was also fueled by a Jan. 5 QVC special, where the singer performed and chatted ... Simon's last release, "Moonlight Serenade," started at No. 7 in 2005 with 58,000. It has sold 329,000 to date ... Simon's set wasn't the only album released Jan. 2. Elvis Presley's "The Essential Elvis Presley" also bowed that day. The two-disc set is the second-highest debut this week and starts at No. 72 with 13,000. While on the surface it's just another repackaging of the King's hits, it's also the latest installment of the best-selling "Essential" series from Sony BMG. But this is the first time The Billboard 200 chart has seen an "Essential" album devoted to a former BMG artist (Presley is on RCA) -- all of the previous chart entries from the "Essential" collection came from those in the old Sony family of labels. They include Columbia's Alice in Chains, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel and Bob Dylan, and Epic's Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, the Clash, Ozzy Osbourne, Luther Vandross and Michael Jackson. • Who else is taking great strides on The Billboard 200 this week? Corinne Bailey Rae zooms 57-33 with her self-titled album (down only 12%). Robin Thicke's "The Evolution of Robin Thicke" charges 62-35 (down a scant 5%). The various-artists compilation "WOW Hits 2007" climbs 91-76 with a 24% decline while the soundtrack to "Rocky Balboa" motors 109-87 (down only 25%). All of these albums -- plus many more that move up the chart -- were sale-priced at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City, Target or Kmart ... Damien Rice's "9" vaults 117-58 with Greatest Gainer honors (up nearly 5,000 units - 38%). "9 Crimes," a song from the set, was heard in the Jan. 4 rerun of "Grey's Anatomy" ... Shiny Toy Guns' "We Are Pilots" flies 178-114 after the Apple iTunes Music Store promoted the band's "Le Disko" as a free download single of the week. Interest in the song clearly caused consumers to buy the album -- tagged with a new-artist price of $6.99. Though its overall sales are down 5%, it's up 122% on the Top Digital Albums chart (a debut at No. 13). The digital album configuration made up 43% of the set's sales last week. • Speaking of iTunes, the store's promotion of greatest-hits sets during the past few weeks sparks some fascinating chart moves. On Top Pop Catalog, Queen's "Greatest Hits I & II" debuts at No. 3 with 9,000 (up 56%). Of that 9,000, 96% of the sales were digital. At the iTunes store, the 34-track set (equal to two CDs in the physical world) went for a crazy cheap $7.99. At one point, the Queen set was the top-selling album at the store. The sale is over now, and the title's price is back up to $33. Amusingly, one comment in the "reviews" section for the album from a user named Nightninja whines "iTunes make it 7.99 again!!!! i won't buy this now." Clearly, you can't please everyone. Nevermind how a consumer can still purchase every song on "Greatest Hits I & II" a la carte for only 99 cents ... iTunes also hyped Journey's "Greatest Hits," causing its debut at No. 20 on Top Digital Albums (3,000; up 73%). Overall, it moves 25-8 on Top Pop Catalog Albums with a scant 4% decline. MARKET WATCH • Album units, current chart week: 8.34 million units • DOWN 35% from last issue's charts: 12.84 million units • DOWN 22% from same week, 2005: 10.75 million units • This week: No albums sell more than 100,000 copies. • This week last year on The Billboard 200: Jamie Foxx held at No. 1 with "Unpredictable," while Mary J. Blige and Eminem were at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. The chart's top debut came from the Strokes' "First Impressions of Earth" at No. 4 (88,000). The top three albums each sold more than 100,000 units. BORDERLINES • The No. 1 album this week, the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack (Music World/Columbia/Sony Music), sold 66,000. • The No. 1 album for the same week of 2006, Jamie Foxx's "Unpredictable" (J/RMG), sold 131,000. • Average total of the No. 1 album for the same week of the year during the past 10 years (1998-2007): 162,529.
