  1. For about the fifth time in a row now. I am not sure what the lyrics are about, but I can tell they're interesting.

  3. We Belong has the best chorus (at least of the ones that I know, which is only her big American hits), but Love Is a Battlefield has the best verses of maybe any song ever. "You're beggin' me to go then makin' me stay Why do you hurt me so bad It would help me to know Do I stand in your way, or am I the best thing you've had Believe me, believe me, I can't tell you why But I'm trapped by your love and I'm chained to your side" - AMAZING

1980: Dan Fogelberg - Same Old Lang Syne 1981: Pointer Sisters - Slow Hand 1982: The Human League - Don't You Want Me 1983: Yazoo - Don't Go 1984: Wham! - Careless Whisper 1985: Madonna - Into The Groove (One of my favorite songs ever, and I'm shocked it was never a hit in the US.) 1986: Stacey Q - Two of Hearts 1987: Pet Shop Boys & Dusty Springfield - What Have I Done To Deserve This 1988: George Michael - Kissing a Fool (Weirdly my favorite solo song of his.) 1989: Donna Summer - This Time I Know It's For Real
  5. It seems like Australia gets all of the US and the UK's biggest hits, and recently even some European hits (like The Avener and Robin Schulz). The UK used to be my favorite chart by far, but Australia is getting up there.
  6. I LOVE Geiles Leben and I rarely (never) listen to songs in German. I really think if it got an English version it could do well in the UK.
  7. 99 Souls - The Girl is Mine to 14! This is looking like it could be big hit.
  8. 10. Ellie Goulding - Burn
  9. Timebomb to 60! Does anyone know if this is the highest Kylie has ever gotten on US iTunes?

How long was it between when the single was released and when it went in at number 1?

How long did it take for Matt Cardle to get to number 1 last year? I wonder if it will be longer or shorter this year.

I just heard Starry Eyed on the radio, her album is up to 26 on American iTunes, and I've been hearing about her a lot, so it looks like she could be successful in America.
  13. Because the American Chart is sooooo slow. Party Rock Anthem is doing pretty well for a dance song, and I've been hearing it a lot on the radio recently so I think it will get to 27 or 28 on Billboard eventually, about the same as We No Speak Americano.
  14. The American Itunes chart is looking AMAZING right now! Adele at number 1 again, with Tinie Tempah in the top ten, he might be top ten on Billboard :cheer: Party Rock Anthem is Top 40, and most shockingly Barbra Streisand is up to 61!!!

I didn't realize 1998 was such a great year for number 1s. 15 - Cornershop - Brimful of Asha (Only discovered this because of Same Jeans) 12 - Run DMC vs. Jason Nevins (Great remix, shame it kept the Spice Girls from having all of their singles go to number 1  ) 10 - Aqua - Turn Back Time (Definitely my favorite Aqua) 8 - Spacedust - Gym and Tonic   6 - The Tamperer ft. Maya - Feel It ( Amazing sample) 5 - Spice Girls - Viva Forever (If it was Stop, it would be number 1 on my list) 4 - B*witched - C'est La Vie (Brings back so many memories) 3- Madonna - Frozen 2- Celine - My Heart Will Go On  1- Three Lions '98 -2 - All Saints - Booty Call (I love Never Ever and Pure Shores, but this is just awful)
