It's already been confirmed that she's performing "Get Outta My Way" - so I assume this is being treated as promotion for the album rather than the new single.

I think comparisons like this are slightly redundant. X was released during one of the busiest times of the year rather than this year's summer lull. And whilst Aphrodite is holding strong, it has yet to match the sales of X. (This isn't an X vs. Aprhodite BTW. Aphrodite is a far superior album) At the end of the day, it all comes down to sales. How long it remains in the chart is kind of irrelevant if it's not shifting enough copies.

I think people have been rather too enthusiastic about Kylie's progress in the US. The album has still sold less than X (38,000) which itself would have probably debuted inside the Top 20 if it had been released the same week as the UK/Europe. X lost a hell of a lot of registered sales because of imports and therefore would have made a much better debut inside the Billboard 200. Love Aphrodite - but it's selling the same (if not a little less) amount of copies as X. 25,000 seems to be the extent of Kylie's fans in the US which is nothing to be sniffed at. I'm just not sure this album has marked a significant change. Perhaps a bit of promo might change that.
