  1. No, I'm not new but SG25 had a better marketing strategy than this.
  2. I don't wanna contribute any negativity here but it's been 7 weeks now since they posted the first teaser and all we have is crickets now... It's just upsetting.
  3. Love Never Loved Me is still bangs so hard! I love her vocals on this album. Seriously, she has come so far vocally. This genre was hers! I still bop to Ride it occasionally. It's so camp, so Geri! She was such a promising solo artist! I remember watching her in that awful documentary. It was so obvious that she fed up with the industry. I'm not sure if Europop lead single was a good choice in 2004 either...
  4. Ahhh this is my second favourite Emma album after Free Me. I love Life in Mono, Mischievous and Take Me To Another Town. The fact that she's the last solo spice girl to have a top 10 in the UK... She was an amazing solo artist.
  5. I love the videos. She comes across so well and likeable. The fans are obviously doing too much again on this thread but hey what's new? Sure, it would be great for her to wear a mask but some of the comments here are a bit harsh. She's giving you a content. Some of the girl-bands members won't even bother to do that smh.
  6. I love Today! Actually I really like her second album. I was listening to it last week. it has some hidden gems.
  7. She smashed it!!!! What a presence she has as a performer!
  8. Yaaaassss!!! Coming to smash... (outside top 100) A great single choice tbh.
  9. How do you know? Receipts?
  10. I don't get the negativity. At least she's gıvıng us something. Sure, it would be better listening experience on Spotify, and yes we deserve it after all these years, but she's clearly testing the waters.. I'm sure her team reading all those comments about wanting the songs on Spotify. I think we'll get them at some point.
  11. I want Northern Star to pass 900.000 units in UK. Is it hard to achieve at this point? With vinyl release she would achieve that easily.
  12. I can't believe she's having the best opening numbers in friggin 2020! Just wow. A legend. Nothing else!
  13. This is intense. Wow. Kylie needs to release more physical copies. Let's keep streaming huns, Just Pearll
  14. Wow, you are wayy to negative about this project. Ok, literally no one asked for this, I can agree with you on that but coming for Mel C's music was absolutely unnecessary. Like seriously, she has been giving us nothing bops, come on now...
  15. Favourite Spice Girl in the band: Ginger. She was basically Spice Girls for me and her queer anticts were so mesmerising, new and eye-catching at the time lol. I'm still leaning towards that ginger when it comes to pick a fav SG girl. Favourite Solo Spice music: Melanie C. Without a doubt! Her music is incredible! Favourite Solo Spice personality: Melanie C. Although I love Mel B's personality so much, Melanie C has won me over with her down to earth personality over the years. I find her quite relatable, accessible and friendly.tht
  16. An album! A moment in pop culture history. Quite frankly, I've always thought that this album is overlooked by the GP. I mean, it has their best song in their discography: Viva Forever. Spice Up Your Life and Viva Forever are my favourite SG songs to this date. My 3rd favourite song from the album is The Lady Is a Vamp. Now that I'm 30 years old, I aappreciate way more than I did as a 8 years old lol. That song is an album closer. Pure camp!
  17. Yes. This is why I'll always be thankful for her existence tbh. The first time I heard the word "queer" was in a Geri's song. I remember watching her debut interviews and she was amazingly outspoken about LGBT. It was the first time I heard the "gay" word because of one her debut interviews back in the day I had in my Spice interviews cd. I was 9. For a 9 year old kid who's from Middle East it was an eye opening moment for me. Like, I don't think some of you all understand what it meant to hear those "strange" words for a 9 year old kid. Woah, even writing about it made me kinda emotional. I'll always be grateful for Geri Halliwell. I really really don't want to believe that she's a Tory. She's a gay icon to me, to this date...
  18. Just wow... Given that she had suffered from systematic racism during the Spice Girls years... and of course it still goes on... In her "Catch a Fire" autobiogprahy there's this line in the book that I still remember to this day. Victoria told her that she didn't see her as "colour"... Wtf is that? Obviously she felt so uncomfortable with that stament that she put into her book. It seems like she never had a problem with Geri tho. Geri basically was queer in her debut era. I still believe that she's not anti-gay herself but she has become waay too white for my liking. I'm sure this has been discussed millions times before but I still believe that Geri is hiding her queerness somewhere in her ktchen
  19. Yes. Both Vicky and Geri were torries. This had started with the interview they gave for The Spectator back in 1996. Just google it, I can't post a link since I'm a newbie. Geri was super vocal about her political views in that interview. I do think Vicky seems to be more liberal these days tho. I don't know if that's a façade for her business but yeah.. I think it's safe to say that both Mel's are Labour supporters.
  20. The way Holler still slaps so damn hard...Phew! They really did that! I wish we could had more performances of the that masterpiece... I hated Let Love Lead The Way at first but it has grown on me over the years! I was 10 when Forever was released so...
  21. This Time has to be my least favourite album of hers. It's just painfully boring.
  22. Imagine she would get a #1 with it! Ugh!!
  23. It was an okay album for me. Room For Love is one of the best songs in her discography. I have never stopped playing that song.
  24. This harsh truth tho... I don't think there's much she can do at this point. I'm sure she's okay with the position she's in her career right now. It's a privilige to have a moderate solo career and be a part of something legendary. I'm sure this has been disscussed and stated millions times before but yeah, she's super lucky to have this kinda dedicated fan base.
  25. Haha! I loooove Spiceworld! Spice is just so legendary that it feels wrong to choose Spiceworld for some dumb reason for me, personally. Also I feel the same way when I state what my favourite Spice Girl is. It's weird
