Now That's What I Call Music!
It was on this in 2022: https://www.discogs.com/release/23085551-Various-Now-Eighties-Dancefloor But then again, it was also on the Now 9 reissue in 2021, along with Taffy, who has also missed the yearbooks, and the seemingly hard to get Erasure and Genesis (maybe they agree to be on the earlier reissues but not general/new compilations).

Now That's What I Call Music!
I got the 1980-84 one (and the second edition) when they dropped under £50 in the sale as these boxsets often do eventually.

Now That's What I Call Music!
Seems there's another vinyl selection too, like they did for 1980-84. Also due out 27th March for £99.99, I'll give that a miss.

Now That's What I Call Music!
Yes, good cover. I have this album on CD as they never put it up for streaming.

Also from elsewhere in their catalogue Mercy Mercy! And that was only a b-side. And Would You Believe <3

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part One (Groups)
Probably killed by overplay for people because it came 4th for me in BJSC several months before it was a hit.

Your favourite titles of your entries
I'm Going For Your Brother (just funny) RAMelia (Tribute To Amelia) (got to love a portmanteau) The Ocean Sings To Me In Turquoise Waves (dreamy) Loss Is Not Infinite (my life motto)

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part One (Groups)
Same! I think a lot of the acts are being played wisely, Cruel Summer is a calculated risk. To last the distance you can't use up all of the hits in the first three rounds. Some of the acts here (albeit only one in the groups category) don't really have any hits so have to be played very carefully. Also you need to take into account forum taste, some major hits are likely going to be unpopular on the forum and not worth the risk, e.g. Ladies Night by Atomic Kitten looking at that Pop Princesses rate. So you have to get creative with album tracks and other stuff!

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part One (Groups)
Always Have, Always Will is THE definitive all-out pop banger of the Flowers album. Life Is A Flower is even better but not sure I would describe it as a banger.

Bop Idol 6: BOP PARTY / Voting / Deadline: Saturday 21st February 2026, 23:59 GMT
A reminder that you all have until the end of Saturday to get your votes in please! Not voting would be like going to someone's birthday party and eating the cake but then refusing to sing Happy Birthday. Plus you'll be docked a third of your points, so keep the vibes high throughout results night and let's get all the votes in!

Oh dear, I completely missed that when attempting to check all of the site's song contest lists, ofc the one place I didn't check was BJSC spin-offs. Another song was vetoed for coming top three in a main BJSC contest (a very long time ago). Although is there even any resource to check BJSC spin-off entries / results? Or do we have to rely on memory 😂

United Kingdom · Eurovision Song Contest 2026
As it will likely be contracted to be playlisted by Radio 2, I do wonder if the edges might be shaved off a bit.

BJSC 182: Confirmations
Seconded with Cherry Bomb for the same reason, but I probably wouldn’t have gone for Meek although I like the track and hope it becomes a hit. There’s another pop track I love too which I ultimately decided sounds too much like Lizzo’s 2 Be Loved to bother with as it would just be compared to it 🤣 AND I had another contender I dismissed for having AI artwork even though the song and artist itself definitely isn’t AI (there was no video so the artwork would have shown up on the listenthrough). Anyway, I did finally confirm a song I consider to be a beauty yesterday, a very rare recycle.

Now That's What I Call Music!
No doubt we will get a best of Yearbook 80s featuring about seven songs from each year and 10 they couldn't license before.

Now That's What I Call Music!
I would argue that Kissing A Fool is by a country mile the better remembered/more highly regarded track, despite the slightly lower peak, so I think it's a fair choice (76m streams vs 12m on Spotify or 28m YouTube views vs just 1m). Also it no doubt sold about the same at the time as it was charting throughout December. What are your key highlights of the album?

Now That's What I Call Music!
Wouldn't say I'm loving the tracklist, which I had a feeling would be the case after the main Final Chapter release was so good, and we knew there were still lots of licensing issues. Lots of Vault fare on here imo, nevertheless it's a good mop up to get the other PSB songs, The Colourfield, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Hothouse Flowers, plus Labi Siffre, who I'd have expected to see a lot earlier with that track.

Now That's What I Call Music!
Are those artist names all confirmed by Now's usual mole? I really hope it's This One by Paul McCartney, great track. It's taken a very long time for The Colourfield to appear, I was hoping that would be on Yearbook 1985 or the Extra.

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part One (Solo Male)
Conan Gray - Never Ending Song (He out Kershaw'd Nik Kershaw with this a bit, great 80s vibe/production and melody - a hat-trick of great choices for Conan) Eric Saade feat. DEV - Hotter Than Fire (I haven't listened to this since it came out and that's on me, a BANGER - hope Eric doesn't go out this round! 'I'm flammable, I'm TNT' <3) George Michael - Too Funky (brilliant 90s single) Nik Kershaw - Dancing Girls (I'm a sucker for Nik's stuff really) The Weeknd - Take My Breath (a solid single, not one of my faves of his though) Fred again.. - Jungle (Rico Nasty Remix) (decent remix of a song I remember quite well) Troye Sivan - My My My! (good track) David Bowie - Modern Love (not a top fave of mine from Bowie, but enjoyable) Guitarricadelafuente - Agua y Mezcal (decent) Ruel - YOU AGAINST YOURSELF (ditto) Shawn Mendes - There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back (I don't think he needs my support to ease through but I was never big on this one) Very solid group, love the top four.

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Boot Camp: Part One (Solo Female)
Delta Goodrem - Wings (this was the best single she had released in about a decade for me, the piano scale and strings against the dancy beat <3) FKA twigs - Perfectly (nice discovery, the best song submitted so far for FKA twigs imo) Lily Allen - Everyone’s At It (I haven't listened to this in such a long time, but a really good track) ROSALÍA - Aute Cuture (definitely more my thing than the other ROSALÍA songs so far) Toni Braxton feat. Loon - Hit the Freeway (something about the production reminds me of Britney's Boys, checked it and I see it's a Neptunes production too which makes sense) Kesha - Take It Off (catchy, memories of summer 2010!) LiSA - Another Great Day!! (decent but I definitely preferred the song in the previous round) Nadia Oh - Jump Out the Window (I don't think this artist is my cup of tea sadly)

Cruz Beckham! Ha, that is ALL over the internet right now.

BJSC 182: Confirmations
So this would have been on zero if not for the Capital FM playlisting? 😮 It feels pretty well known at this point to me, maybe just in my online circles. It's also No.1 on Spotify UK viral chart.

The very dreary single from Oasis.
