  1. Rooting for Cheiron to progress! Although lots of other good stuff here too.
  2. Love all of the predicted top four, this was a great heat! Terra or Azorska to squeak the final spot please.
  3. Predicting direct to final for Bøtanikkä and Neliönoir with Cor Lupus also in the mix should one of those not get it. Ajanaeda And Herbilore for the other two second chances maybe but I don’t really know.

Poor Dimitrov, he was playing great and it was so sad to see him have to retire, crazy that this has happened five slams in a row. I did wonder if Sinner might have won it in five but Dimitrov deserved the chance to try and play it out, gutting injury. I saw most of Djokovic's match earlier and he did well to turn it around after a poor first set as de Minaur was playing pretty well.
  5. Thanks for sharing, it looks like a really well put together and interesting watch, I will be sure to bookmark this to watch properly as I don't know a huge amount about their post-2001 career apart from the odd song.
  6. I'm also out tomorrow but I've listened through once and plan to listen again before voting. I enjoyed a lot of these.
  7. Voting Mariah as it's been in before, it's the middle of summer, and I enjoy the other four too.
  8. Both are brilliant but Fedde has my heart, that top two with this and Yeah Yeah in it was quite a moment <3
  9. Beyoncé. It's a good quiz question though - what was her first charting solo single. Most people wouldn't say Work It Out.

No worries at all Dan, thank you.
  11. Going for Britney as I at least have a bit of nostalgia with it to help it along. Agreed, neither are good.
  12. Yeah a great round, competition really hotting up. Those songs are among the very best from Avril, PSB and Christina, and it would be harsh for Mary J. to leave with that song too. Voted.

Love the Laufey song, she rarely misses for me, her jazz style is so refreshing. Good to see KT Tunstall back on the playlist with Seafret too.

Did anybody keep a record of last week's playlist at all? They are up to the 5th July one now but I missed the 28th June. Here's this week's for posterity, without formatting. New additions are bolded, nothing is moving up. Not sure what's out or the playlist runs as I don't have last week's. Surprised Capital haven't playlisted Manchild!
  16. Voted too. Strong little heat here, I liked all of the songs.

I had to do it, as we stripped a couple of these out of the original 1999 main album! He really was such a trance driving force that year.
  18. Sorry Ellie and Wardy for taking it to deadlock there. I did vote to save Christina over Ellie but both are among my favourite artists and I picked Ellie over everyone else practically. Thanks to Calum for giving me the opportunity to guest judge - next time I will be sure to participate! Looking good for Avril in this for her to win this round with a song I didn’t even know was particularly loved. And now her big hitters are to come I presume! A-ha have some classics but never have been a huge favourite of mine overall - they did well though!
  19. Not a bad take on Always, but I always loved that Wheatus cover (I know it's not generally loved), so I'm voting for them.
  20. They surely can't dodge it again. Artful for me.
  21. Girls Aloud
  22. I'm rejecting the rejects again.
  23. True although I would imagine the 1985-89 Final Chapter is imminent as they love to rinse the 80s and the main Yearbooks and Extras are done.
  24. I was about to rant about Suzanne Vega but then listened to the song as I didn't know it and it's great, ha. Still, a No.40 one week hit is scraping a bit, it makes me wonder if they will even do The Vault series for the 90s or if it's just an 80s concern.
  25. Agreed, I was thinking earlier how much I thoroughly enjoyed both the main and Extra for 98 despite many missing hits. I could live without a lot of this 97 Extra. My biggest gripe though is why has dance been wiped out of the equation apart from Roise Gaines and a few of the more famous critcially acclaimed dance acts on Disc 2 - it was a big year for it. Sash, Bellini, Smoke City, BBE, The Course, Todd Terry, PF Project, Mr President? I can't believe these were all unlicensable.
