  1. Thank you Pestolia and Cheiron! A convincing start for Annalisa here.
  2. Looks like a clean sweep for Annalisa apart from the prediction for Crème Brulée from Scene, we haven't had a consensus odds favourite for quite a while? I wonder if it might win by some margin that being the case.
  3. Sophie for sure. Adam's is nice enough but I prefer Ella Henderson's ballad take on Believe.
  4. Close for me actually, going for S Club 7. I always liked both of their Children in Need ballads.
  5. Also Jay Sean this time.
  6. Sticking with Akon again.
  7. Very ready, it must be over a decade since her last (which I didn't actually love that much). Hoping for a return to piano-based beauty like Surfacing and Afterglow.

Pretty catchy, much better than Old Phone for me (which I’ve never listened to a second time out of choice) with some interesting Eastern influences in the production.
  9. I was starting to worry they were about to neglect the 80s for a minute, thank goodness.
  10. Saturdays! Tori's is quite nice though.
  11. Voted! Fantastic final, I liked 90% of it and it was so hard to leave about 10 songs out of my vote. My top three are all great discoveries in particular. Some really strong songs from loads of different genres this month so very difficult to order.
  12. Yay, was looking forward to hearing your reaction - so glad you're a fan ❀️
  13. Agreed, I think it's probably République d'Áskorza's to lose. It's as catchy as Mon Amour which came close. I'd say Kathaldazia, Kluminican Republic and BøtanikkÀ are in with a shot too. Other outside contenders maybe Danæviia, Why So Sirius, Flynnonda, Neliânoir, A-Konohagakure, Hushkanukia, FARC, Mothertopia. Some niche success for Trifoski and (hopefully) FSR Rontvia. And I suspect Terra Avium and Zanmatony's retro dance entries should both go down well, and Aeroche's should hopefully find its way into the top 15.
  14. I put leaning left, but not on every issue. Definitely more left than Centrist though.
  15. Akon. Breaking Free was actually my favourite here. Despite its Disney teen-aimed background, it's a very solid pop song, well sung.
  16. Sticking with Emma, I don't hate it though, I just have no reason to listen to it instead of the original.
  17. Hoosiers, I never liked that Marilyn cover even at the time.
  18. Wow, Come Undone is great, one of Robbie's best. Shame to see it out. Dance Dance extremely easily here.
  19. I enjoyed Len more myself.
  20. Thanks Julian, I will get listening!
  21. Nice selection! I only know Paula Cole, who is stretching the definition of one-hit wonder with this song that has four times more streams than her 'hit' πŸ˜‚ Obviously a Dawson's Creek classique. Ann Lee! I thought about using one of hers but most of the stuff I know from her is very samey, this sounds completely different so good pick. Very intrigued by some of the names - artists I've never thought to look up further music by, really nice theme idea.
  22. Nice countdown Colm, I like the three winners in the top 10 most - Arcade, 1944 and Rise Like A Phoenix, although all were about 5-8th for me in their respective years. That Conchita story of yours is great. Not too fond of Let 3 musically, but the performance was very fun to watch. The Luke Black song is one of my partner's favourite Eurovision songs ever! So it's always on at home.
  23. Amazed that Leww hadn't won Club Bizarre before, congrats! I think that could have gone big in BJSC too. I'd have either guessed that or Rose Rouge would have won so that's a strong top two, congrats Dandy. Well done to Uhsting on the podium too. Thanks to the bump from the final two voters, I thought mine stuck out like a sore thumb and that I'd be near the bottom but it seems the people who liked it mostly loved it, which is great <3 It's one of those incredibly fun tacky dance remakes that I just love so I'm glad it got some support! Big love and thanks to the voters. Surprised Dan's didn't go top ten, that was my very clear favourite. Thanks though for the welcome to your house party though Dan, a nice bunch of songs and great hosting of course!
  24. Thanks Herbs, I didn't expect to get any top score! It's quite funny how often we swap high scores in anonymous contests.
  25. I thought I'd send a novelty-ish entry because Club is a very serious business usually! Lasse Holm represented Sweden in Eurovision 1986 and wrote loads of 80s schlager classics, including the original of this which Nause (who I mistakenly thought had a small hit here with Made Of) recently remixed. It's obviously cheesy but to me it was too charming not to share! Thank you to the two voters so far. And to our esteemed host for the wonderful discovery, by far my favourite of this edition as I already knew my 10, 8 and 7 pointers.
