Happy New Year everyone :) My Kylie wish is a tour that will come to Toronto :lol: If not that, then some sort of Side B/extended/remix album for DISCO.

I really like this remix. My fave remix of the DISCO era so far! The disco dance break is everything :heart: I would've liked more Dua on it, but she probably had no time to write and record a new verse. As far as I can tell from the instrumentation, this is a different version than what was in the Studio 2054 show. The show basically used the album version instrumental, with house beats mixed around it. This remix has a new bassline, new strings, new guitars, and probably a few more details in the mix.

Oop, I haven't kept all my receipts from my almost 20 years of Kylie fandom. Didn't think I'd get quizzed on the validity of my experiences!

Nope, it's the reverse for me! I see way more mentions of SA being an iconic, timeless classic in her discography, than OANLT.

Buzzjack is the only place where I've seen "OANLT being a better song than SA" as a widely held opinion :P That's news to me and all my years of fandom! To my ears, SA has aged better than OANLT. I would've preferred Spinning Around to win, than either ATL or OANLT. It's not a surprise that ATL won, but I've never been madly in love with it. I'm always gonna wish it had more in the vocal melody in the chorus. And I'm always gonna choose GOMW over it -_- Thanks for putting this together, Nina West! :) It was a fun way to close out the year!

I'm also surprised it's not higher. Surprising to me that it ranked lower than Better the Devil, Slow, All the Lovers, OANLT. and In Your Eyes :o I did NOT expect Slow to land this high -- I thought plenty of fans disliked it. And I had no idea people loved On a Night Like This this much. :???: And Nick F1 with the "0" for CGYOOMH... :kink: Side eye from all the fans <_< lmaooo

I hope The One wins it :cheer: Overall I'd say the Top 20 is mostly in line with her widely-acknowledged classics. The surprises for me are RBW, Magic, and the absence of any singles from her first 2 albums :o

Yeah, Magic landing this high in the rankings is definitely influenced by how new it is. It might suggest more new and/or casual fans are voting, repping broader Kylie opinions than the hardcore fans, which is definitely a good thing in my books. I find it interesting PYIMP is that rare case of Kylie doing Soul/R&B and connecting unanimously with the fanbase. It's a damn good song, very 90s R&B. I'm sure the video played a big part in its positive reception too.

It's not the first or the last Kylie album to disappoint commercially while delivering lots of great songs :heart: Commercial letdowns like the BL and KMO eras didn't really affect my love for those songs, because I'm a Canadian fan :lol: Any sort of chart or sales success is just a bonus rather than expectation, from my perspective as a diehard fan of Kylie's, a niche artist without decades of national love on these shores.

At first, I was surprised Spinning Around wasn't in the Top 10. But then I remembered just how many damn singles Kylie has over 33 years :lol: I wouldn't be able to choose between IBIY or SA. I gave them 10s for different reasons, for loving different elements of each song, and it's hard to "rank" these reasons. Just like how I can't rank Kylie's albums, I'd probably come to my Top 20 cluster of her singles, and find myself unable to definitively rank any further :wacko: Though, I can definitely say I'd rank Spinning Around higher than On a Night Like This :P OANLT, In My Arms, Confide, Say Something, and Magic would definitely NOT be in my Top 20. I do think proximity bias played a big part in how highly the DISCO singles ranked. Though, everyone seems to consider Say Something one of Kylie's classics already, and I...find it okay -_-

Oh how I love the see the tides turn for Body Language and Red Blooded Woman :D . I see all those 10s! Thanks to everyone who voted highly for them :dance: A Top 5 Kylie album for me, and consistently one of my most played.

Kylie, BMG, and the teams must be very happy with the sales so far. I love that's she's experiencing another peak in her career. This deep into her career too :)

I love them all too :wub: The facts that her debut and Enjoy Yourself ranked relatively low (as in completely outside the Top 20), and that only the Rhythm of Love era remains from the PWL days, suggest to me that most voters did not start their fandom during those eras. Many could've been too young or not born yet :lol: I'm Shocked that Red Blooded Woman still hasn't been revealed yet! What a massive turnaround from, well, basically the entire time I've been a Kylie stan :lol: In my experience, it's never been a big pleaser amongst Kylie fans. Any guesses for which Fever single will drop first? I'm going with Come Into My World.

I'm glad to see ITB make it into the Top 30 :) Wow I'm really blown away at how highly the BL singles ranked here. Aside from Fever, it's the only era that hasn't been revealed yet :o . I thought for sure RBW and Chocolate would get low placings. Love to see the BL love! :D
