I'd like to think Wretch 32 will do well, but he'll stick to his roots, and with 13 year old girls dictating the charts he won't see Tinie/Tinchy levels of success. Shame really, I've been a fan for years. Wretchrospective is amazing. Real talent as opposed to the majority of popcorn music by artists nowadays.

Rihanna has no where near $200m. But yeah concerts you get a lot, I've heard that. Alexandra is a multi-millionaire. Matt Cardle is set to make £3-5m apparently, and Burke has had a lot of single/album success. Just goes to show poor music + backing of Syco = £££.

Sorry if this in the wrong section, didn't know where else to put it. I bring this up after reading an article from Plan B saying he's rich enough to retire - but he says he's not a millionaire. His album sold 700,000+, and I'm not sure how many singles but it's a lot. His label must have made £10m from him alone. My question is, how much do artists earn from album and single sales? Anybody know?

To me, it's his best track yet. I don't know a lot about the chart but it won't do that well (top 10) because it's on his album, right? Whatever happens, I love this.

Terrible. Hopefully it flops. You get people with real talent putting out great music and it gets no recognition. But when someone enters a contest, fades away, announces he's gay (which everyone knew from his first audition), and they chart in the top 10... really annoys me. /rant

It was on his tourbus. He claimed it wasn't his, but because it was his tour he got the blame. He got 1 year. It was 100% planned. Not a conspiracy, just hard facts. Same thing with TI. They create hype with the gangster illusion, come out of jail and release an album (Lil Wayne's new album is being released the day he's out...).

Lil Wayne should lay off talking about guns. Not because he's in jail or his image or anything, but because he isn't a 'gangster'. He's never touched a gun before, I assure you. He's only in jail so he can continue talking about firearms. /rant Love this song though lol.

Hey, long time lurker but decided to sign up because I couldn't see threads on this topic. I'm really into In My System by Tinchy Stryder, even though I'm not a fan of this kind of music.
