  1. She works for AEG Live I believe. She must be something to do with the Meet and Greets/experience things they offer.
  2. Couple of questions: 1. Where is the artist entrance at Wembley? I want to do a bit of gatehanging before and after the show maybe and can't see on any pictures where it may be. 2. I haven't got a Meet and Greet, but I'm meeting someone from AEG there for something (her name is Helen, if it's the same person every date). What time did people have to be there. She said that there is going to be a large banner there to meet her. Can't wait fro Wembley. It's going to be brilliant. It'll also be the first time I've been there, as I only go to Nottingham Capital FM Arena or Sheffield Motorpoint Arena :)
  3. Where was that information from??
  4. w9d_P76d5fU Not Giving Up from Nottingham Royal Concert Hall (Front Row)
  5. ^ I know. I was lucky I got away with the amount I did actually do! At least it was towards the end of the show. I was only going to film All Fired Up as well that show but that doesn't matter. I might film it at the Wembley show. I actually thought I would get told off for the amount of pictures that I was taking, as my camera was up MUCH longer than what I was when filming. I'm just compiling my pics and vids now so hopefully got some good shots!
  6. ^^No, I was in a blue checkered shirt. I might upload a couple of videos to YouTube soon. I recorded Up, but during the crowd part, I shouted out and sound a right loon, so that won't be going up, unless anyone knows how to mute my voice, because other than that, it's a quite good video! I've also got, Higher, Not giving Up and 3/4 of Ego (the steward bloke came to me and the bloke next to me and said we shouldn't be videoing, so I kinda stopped JUST before Vanessa's big note, so I'm slightly annoyed by that!) From Sheffield, I've got What Are You Waiting For, Work, Gentleman, If This Is Love, Walking Through The Desert, Chasing Lights and What About Us that my brother videoed for me!
  7. Really! What seat were you?
  8. ^I was front row, seat 7! It was a really good seat. Nottingham's venue is brilliant, if you're in the first few rows. If you're front row, you can actually touch the stage you are that close! Would definitely recommend trying to get front row if you can there!
  9. ^I was at Nottingham as well. It was amazing. And it was much fuller than I imagined. I expected a few more empty seats, as the online seating plan didn't look that good, seat wise and the amount sold. I'd been to Sheffield on the Wednesday and we were 10x louder and up for it. I can't believe how good the show is. When What Are You Waiting For started, is was so euphoric. My mouth at both gigs was so dry and I screamed my lungs out! I think, although it would have been amazing for the tour to be a full arena tour, they are much better at the theatre tour. They can seem to command much more of the audience, and it actually felt in both venues that it was an arena! Even not having a band wasn't an issue! I was front row at Nottingham and every member waved/smiled at me and both gigs. Mollie is such a lovely girl. She waved a load of times and smiled, and even held out the microphone to me during Just Can't Get Enough in Nottingham. Una also interacted loads too, doing the Up movements with me! I'm so glad I caught that on camera! What did annoy me though was the couple of people to the right of me were sat down for the WHOLE show and only got up during the last minute of What About Us!
  10. I noticed that, but I think the picture of Rochelle is taken from a larger one of all the band. Sorry for the low quality: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jiYuDyHSYEY/UsLMFXlT7fI/AAAAAAAAAIg/al-p2VLBn4Y/s1600/djdndj.PNG
  11. When is the best time to do a bit of hanging at the stage door? I'm wanting to meet them at either Sheffield or Nottingham, as didn't get VIP tickets (lord knows I tried, I had two computers to get me some to no avail!)
  12. SPOILER! POTENTIAL PICTURE OF THE SET!
  13. SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT CLICK THIS IMAGE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE A PICTURE OF THE POTENTIAL STAGE! SOURCE: TWITTER
  14. ^It'll say on you ticket whether there are any restrictions, but usually a normal camera is fine. As long as it's not a camcorder, or a camera that you can detach the lens or one of those massive ones then you'll be fine. Sometimes the venue website will have the terms on as well. Hope that helps :)
  15. I suppose you've got to think about the other stuff like merchandise and possible extra sales of the album/singles when putting the Groupon deal into perspective. For example, I multiplied the 2,538 figure by £27.50 and that made just short of £70,000 extra pounds that they have received (minus a probable fee for the Groupon deal). For those extra 2,500+ people going to the tour, a fair few of them will buy at least the tour programme, so even though it might not look the best amount of tickets sold, but the extra income will be something that the girls will surely appreciate :)
  16. ^The band Marvin was in before JLS. They had three (?) Top 40 singles, Love You Like Mad, Make It Hot and Call U Sexy and an album, All Kinds of Trouble, that didn't do particularly well (Not even Top 100 I believe) before disbanding. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/08/VS-AllKindsOfTrouble.jpg
  17. Neither have I to be honest. They also say that they've had Number 1's on the chart with the following: Up Work Missing You Headlines:The Remixes (?) All Fired Up My Heart Takes Over What About Us Gentleman Not Giving Up They're quite popular on this chart it seems!!
  18. What Are You Waiting For? Number 1 on the Commercial Pop Chart! Courtesy of Music Week :)
  19. ^I think it goes on how the store/business think it will sell that week, rather than the chart placing, or so I read or heard once?!?
  20. Cardiff and Manchester seem to be the most popular, over 40 people have purchased tickets (at least 80 extra in each venue!) I would have thought London would have been popular, being at Wembley Arena, but they've sold just shy of 30 tickets (only on Groupon, this doesn't take into consideration the people who might have gone straight to AXS/AEG as well) It's a shame that they have had to do this, but it's such a good deal! I would do another date, but the amount I'm already spending doing three dates is astronomical worked all out, with hotels, trains tickets and extra stuff. Manchester would be my preferred date as Sheffield and Nottingham are the dates before them and I'm going to both, but the trains and hotels are already looking at about £300, minus ticket prices and extra stuff while I'm there. Also, I have London the Friday after, then I'm off to see Kylie Minogue and Caro Emerald in October as well! Shame but at least I'm getting to three of the shows :) Also, didn't they do something like this for All Fired Up Tour? I know they did the competitions on their Twitter.
  21. Might have a look at that! Was considering going to Manchester date so might look good to me!
  22. Deluxe edition of Finest Selection is up to #73 About an hour ago, it was around the #80's
  23. I bought mine from my local Tesco last week (as ASDA where I work weren't stocking it!) and it was number 17/18 I think so nice that it's still in a predominant spot in the chart! On another note, aren't album sales DIRE! It must not be cost effective for a lot of artists to release albums nowadays...
  24. Just looked on Sheffield City Hall website and they seem to have improved sales wise. It was quite dire bt a few days later and it seems to have improved 10 fold!
  25. It's a double edged sword for me. I'm so obsessed with the girls it's ridiculous. Everything they release is great and want the best for them. Every era I think that it's the one and they'll blow everyone out the water and get this million selling album/single (unrealistic I know). I'll always support them and promote them wherever I can. It's amazing that after 6.5 years they are still releasing music and being the recognizable 'pop' artists the chart needs. However... They cannot continue like this. Even though they have promoted, it is no where near enough to sustain a career. They are the band that NEED to promote to achieve higher sales/position. Their management must think the same as the most of us. They must look at the chart position/sales and think that something needs to change. I know their priorities have changed, with three having children, but this shouldn't stop them wanting the best for their music. Their music is not bad at all, and they should stick to what they have seen sells and is received well (Disco Love being the most relevant comparison). I personally would like to see them next album/era stick to pure pop, like Disco Love and Higher, as that's proven to be popular with the public. I don't like to mention the flaws of the band, but personally, something needs to click with someone and change the outlook. We can't keep having albums selling less that 20,000 units can we?
