  1. Streaming definitely affected the overall chart position. Apparently it would have ended up at #25! This is why I don't think streaming has done a good job for the charts. Yes, it's keeping up with the changing times, but you can see how much difference it actually makes, 13 positions in The Saturdays case. Such a shame, and it does not do the song justice! I suppose it could have done a Pixie Lott and not even charted...
  2. My ASDA store weren't even stocking Finest Selection! Had to go to Tesco down the road. On their chart info, they have a poster about The Saturdays and Blinkbox? Anyway, the cover art is on it, so it might catch some people's attention?
  3. Will look today. I work for ASDA so will report back after my shift :)
  4. I think the Complete My Album will help with a few sales (even though in some cases I'm against it, I've personally got to either buy the two tracks I'm missing, or re jig some of my iTunes). The general public may have 1 or 2 tracks by them and if they see anything about the album, this hopefully will entice others to buy! Let's just see how the week unfolds. Remember that iTunes only acts as a percentage towards the final chart placing. I'm keeping optimistic :)
  5. The Saturdays Fansite contacted Official Charts and they said that Complete My Album WILL count as a sale towards the charts. So that'll be good. Hopefully some people who bought some of the higher selling singles will do the same! :)
  6. ^^ I haven't either. I only know about it by the tour poster initially in the corner, but I'm not sure whether they are like the Girls Aloud Sunsilk endorsement. I know at work today I heard two/three radio announcements about winning tickets for the tour.
  7. Got this from work today. If anyone fancies entering the competition haha. I would, but I don't think I'd be allowed. I work for the supermarket by the way :)

I've changed my mind. Besides a couple of hiccups, the performance is quite good :)

Well no one was singing during the Burning Up part it looked like. Not a bad performance though. Let's compare to the This Morning performance on Monday.
  10. I thought this. I pressed around a bit. On the side where it tells you 'Get Ready, Get Set', press in between Frankie and Una's head and it should play around there. If that makes ANY sense!
  11. When my iTunes version is released, I'm changing it to Disc 1 and Disc 2. Will look much more cohesive.
  12. My sort of rough ideas for an opener: The venue is in darkness, and the curtain comes down. Various lines from some of the single echo out though the venue. Some favourtes of mine include: 'Up is where we go from here' 'It's never winter when it's Donna Summer all year long' 'I'm an outlaw, I'm the big boss, I'm a gangster on the dancefloor' There would be a video montage/collage of the different music videos, similar to the Girls Aloud Ten Tour intro, but it would be intercepted with new shots of the girls, individually. Then the camera would pan out, and a mosaic would make up the girls all together. The opener would be What Are You Waiting For, with the first line, 'Tonight we're on a massive attack', then the band stop suddenly to reveal the girls, either coming up from the floor on individual toaster lifts. The band would start up again and What Are You Waiting for would start in it's entirety again. Like I say, very rough and not the best but not too bad I hope. I did have another idea AGES ago, when the first tour rumours started with All Fired Up starting the show, and fire jets and an extended All Fired Up acting as the entrance.
  13. Saw this on Amazon tonight: http://www.amazon.co.uk/What-Are-You-Waiti...you+waiting+for What Are You Waiting For? Remixes EP (I presume) 1. What Are You Waiting For? (Belanger Club Mix) 2. What Are You Waiting For? (LuvBug Club Mix) 3. What Are You Waiting For? (The Alias Club Mix) Might appear on iTunes on release day, but it will hopefully get some extra, albiet probably a few, sales. I will probably buy individually to help, if that does!
  14. I'm going to 3 dates on the tour: Sheffield-Row D Stalls (17,18) Nottingham-Row A Stalls (7) London-Row 12 A4 Floor (41,42) Me and my brother are going to Sheffield, then I'm going to Nottingham and then me and my mum are off to London. Timing couldn't be better for this tour. All Fired Up! Live was a bit of a nightmare it was so close to Christmas, and I was lucky I could get the couple of days I needed off. This time I could check what days holiday I could have and everyone I needed was available, and London is even more special, as it falls the day after my birthday! So excited for this tour I can't tell you!
  15. https://soundcloud.com/davidh1992/the-satur...or-instrumental Not sure whether that should have been a link to the instrumental, so I'll post it. Hope everyone enjoys it. I can't believe that it arrived so quickly, so I thought best to upload asap!
  16. I've just won the promo CD for What Are You Waiting For on eBay! Cost me enough, but it'll be a nice piece of memorabilia!
  17. Not sure if these have been posted before? WHY ISN'T RADIO AIRPLAY WORKING WITH THIS GENIUS IDEA!
  18. Mine has to be My Heart Takes Over, especially the last chorus part. It's beautiful. All Fired Up is pretty eclectic too!
  19. Reading on the BPI website, only streams for the 1st January 2014 counted towards the total. so any before that will be rendered 'useless' in the terms of the new streaming rules.
  20. She sings the chorus on My Heart Takes Over Get Ready Get Set she sings on the chorus and thats it For Myself she sings the chorus and that's it. That's as far as I'm aware :)
  21. I actually have to commend them for doing all aforementioned, especially Una, which must have been tiring due to her pregnancy. This is the one time, I think they actually do deserve a break. i imagine they have worked flat out for a few weeks, probably tour rehearsals in the day and then promotion in the evening (Children in Need for example)
  22. The album does NOT deserve the chart position that it has achieved. But I'm thinking/hoping that this will no be the peak of the album. It desearves to be at least top 10 as I keep saying. We as fans need to keep the faith and make sure the album does not fade away into pop obscurity. Will be interesting to see the sales, but I think we need to keep optimistic and make sure we don't write off the girls!
  23. Thanks BTW to MarthaJonesFan Much appreciated. I really like Mollie's part, she sounds so different yet I love it!
  24. I don't place the blame on the release of Notorious or All Fired Up at all. The songs are great, and the yes they could have been more successful, but some bands and artists would love to have sales of 150,000+ of each single The chart position of OYR does not reflect on the quality of the album and what effort the girls have put it, and I do feel that it is worthy of at least a top 10, even top 5 position. The album may improve in the coming weeks, and I hope it does. I would hope that the arena tour will boost some sales. I still think that the album is going to be a successful era, but I think people are writing the band off too soon. I mean, the album has been out 6 days, and just because it is not as high as people expect they think that it's going to be the end. We as fans of The Saturdays need to keep the faith up, and not write the band off at the early stages of the albums release.
  25. Mine should be shipped soon. Any time from the 21st of November... I hope they arrive next week!
