#1 for a third week in the US, blocking Barbra Streisand's memoir. Insane. @1724941141286539612

Yeah, definitely seems like a big issue translation issue because some fans in Germany and France have been complaining about that too. But I would say the original version is anything but poorly written.

What about it is poorly written?

@1722404866809532547 Second week at #1 on NYT!

Wasn't it mostly just tabloids claiming that? Page Six never did.

Sony Music has offered Britney Spears a $5 MILLION advance to return to the studio and record a new album, The Sun reports. "She has been writing down lyrics and thoughts about the struggles of the last three years. Initially it was freeing herself from the conservatorship and now it’s about Sam and her splitting. "Sony has been talking to her for two years about creating a new record in her new era of life. She says it is going to happen, and soon. So new music is definitely coming. It has offered her access to significant writers and producers and a song catalogue sure to create #1's whenever she wants. The discussions are ongoing but Sony knows what a unique powerhouse she is and how her appeal will mean big sales." https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/23775...-dad-new-songs/ @1698484578975953013

Is this real?

It was added to a few more playlists this morning but nothing huge yet. So we'll see!

Even if it drops 49 spots to #99, it'd outpeak a handful of her singles that did not chart. Fingers crossed. The NMF placement was so bad that I didn't think it'd make the midweeks even.

#50 on the midweeks
