  1. Wait, do people actually dislike this? It's genuinely one of the most clever, tongue-in-cheek pop songs ever. No wonder it's her most successful third single in the streaming era.
  2. That's true, but there are a few things to take into account. The song performs much better on Amazon Music (which seems to be the second biggest streaming service in the UK). According to Songstats, it returned to the Top 100 for nearly three consecutive weeks after Christmas, going as high as #34 on NYE, whereas on Spotify it collapsed after being removed from Hot Hits UK in early December. Performance on Apple Music seems to be better as well. The song sold around 244K during its 13-week chart run (with the last 3 weeks being under ACR, so I doubled them). If I recall correctly, it made the midweeks a few times after leaving the chart but just never managed to stick around. ACR + Christmas + the sudden Hot Hits removal killed it. But I'm sure it still pulled decent numbers for a while. Also, it still does 700K+ on Spotify during the weekend with the remixes included. The Joel Corry one is still doing cute numbers. Gold won't happen until April or May but still, shouldn't be that far.
  3. Speaking of Sometimes, it's going to reach Platinum within a few weeks surely? It's so close! Same with Hold Me Closer going Gold, hopefully soon.
  4. Certified Gold in France for 15M streams (100K units) @1630196634234568706
  5. Agreed! I wish it got as much recognition as Blackout from casual fans. But at least it has her biggest song on it!
  6. #22 for In the Zone isn't that low, she's just got too many albums. It could really use the boost though as it's not that far off from 2x Platinum. Hopefully we get some re-entries!
  7. How so though? A good % of that comes from downloads too, not just streams. For example, the Circus songs sold around 9M pure, so that's almost 900K units. The rest comes from pure sales (nearly 1.8M) and streaming. I think it's a good representation of how big those eras were.
  8. Great news! #34 on Amazon Music today, by the way. Wonder how close it is to 300K.
  9. Spotify Dec. 23 - 223,735 Dec. 24 - 375,163 Dec. 25 - 636,615 Dec. 26 - 100,350 Total: 1,335,863 It's also been inside the Top 40/50 on Apple Music all week.
  10. So far Dec. 23 - 223,735 Dec. 24 - 375,163 Dec. 25 - 636,615
  11. It's gonna get three days of huge streams and I assume the 26th will be decent too. #48 on Spotify today with 223,735 streams. Also #43 on Apple Music.
  12. Do we think it can get back to SCR? There's an acoustic version coming out next Friday.
  13. 55 is better than I was expecting even with ACR. I was expecting something in the 80s. I think it'll stay around for a while!

Do we think P!nk will be able to chart? She's #1 on iTunes but not Top 200 on Spotify.
  15. The Spotify position looks odd but streams are very stable. Taylor's 20 track bomb, plus Artitic Monkeys (+ Halloween songs) make it look much worse than it actually is.

Crazy that Britney and Elton are still #22 even with new entries from Rih and SZA.
  17. Crazy to think this has spent more weeks in the Top 20 than Oops, Toxic and Everytime! Top 20 weeks: 12 weeks - …Baby One More Time (1999) 11 weeks - Scream & Shout (2012-13) 10 weeks - Sometimes (1999) 10 weeks - Womanizer (2008) 9 weeks - Piece of Me (2008) 9 weeks - Hold Me Closer (2022) 8 weeks - Oops!…I Did It Again (2000) 8 weeks - Toxic (2004) 8 weeks - Everytime (2004) 7 weeks - Gimme More (2007) 6 weeks - (You Drive Me) Crazy (1999) 6 weeks - Born to Make You Happy (2000) 6 weeks - Circus (2008-09) 5 weeks - Stronger (2000-01) 5 weeks - Overprotected (2002) 5 weeks - I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman (2002) 4 weeks - Lucky (2000) 4 weeks - I’m a Slave 4 U (2001) 4 weeks - Me Against the Music (2003) 3 weeks - My Prerogative (2004) 3 weeks - Do Somethin’ (2005) 3 weeks - 3 (2009) 3 weeks - Hold It Against Me (2011) 2 weeks - Boys (2002) 2 weeks - Break the Ice (2008) 1 week - Don’t Let Me Be the Last to Know (2001) 1 week - I Love Rock ’n’ Roll (2002) 1 week - If U Seek Amy (2009) 1 week - Work Bitch (2013) 1 week - Pretty Girls (2015) I'm pretty sure it won't be on ACR until mid November, so fingers crossed for another week in the Top 20.
  18. That'd make sense, as only UK orders seem to have shipped. Maybe they want to secure that Top 20 position this week?
  19. The CD singles are starting to ship for some people now.
  20. If it doesn't go on ACR by mid November, it could return to the Top 20 or higher thanks to the physicals. Fingers crossed it's higher tomorrow though, I remember a few weeks ago it was #18 on Sunday then went up to #14 on Monday.
  21. ]Do you know if it'll avoid it next week? Because it went up in streams last week so it wouldn't apply.
  22. Is it still #14 on the midweeks? The Purple Disco Machine remix is out this Friday, by the way!
  23. You can now pre-order the Joel Corry remix, out this Friday: https://presave.umusic.com/elton-john-and-b...oel-corry-remix
  24. Re-enters the Top 20 on UK Spotify at #20.
