Hope Pretty Girls climbs to #1 in Ireland, it allows for a good prediction into its performance in the UK. That said, the charts in Ireland start tracking on a Thursday. If it was released on then it would probably be #1 due to the prospect of new releases that day rather than midweek as it would be now. All charts globally need to begin sales tracking on the same day.

I'm not sure if she'll be able to get to #1. She's currently selling around 33% of what the #1 is doing. But then again its not even 8am yet EDT. Hope now that everyone is starting to wake up it leaps forward.

True! But with Britney her music is never promoted live, unlike J Lo who does (I'm glad On The Floor gave her that massive number 1 though although I prefer Dance Again).

If this does manage to be a sizeable hit, i.e. like Till the World Ends (but on a more global level), it would confirm Britney's presence in today's mainstream market.
