Totally agree; even Higher was used during the X Factor sponsor adds in 2011/2012 (I think) so they definitely were the main girlband. Competition was there but bands were never able to stay relevant for longer than a second.

It was literally incredible! She suits either the very slow dances (week 1) or the high energy ones (week 3). This weeks was nice but not as memorable as the others.

Ooo I remember that! Someone on PopJustice had bought a "Polydor Girl Band" labelled promo CD from a carboot sale thinking they'd find Girls Aloud material - they only found many a Sats demos. It also had the original Why Me, Why Now which sounded a bit like Stand By Me production wise. Regarding the lyrics, they were pretty young during recording right? I guess we can include Golden Rules as part of the songs initially recorded with that direction in mind.

I think they're pretty equally appreciated here (now) compared to earlier times.

They actually were a pretty great singles act (for a girl group) up until Disco Love. Who knows, maybe just maybe they'll have another decent hit. The fact they're actually helping to shift a lot more of those watches shows they're still marketable to companies that may potentially want to use them; this means more music ofcourse. :D

A break to revitalize their sound would be great; they're only going to continue to lower in sales so it's better they try than succumb to what is killing their chart success.

We won't get another single, nothing is going to resurrect the album now. :/

The charts only factor in a small percentage of digital sales now (well in comparison to streaming and radio play), but that may have been after Wings was released. But yeah. ;)
