Sadly nothing is as good as Best Days (which remains a towering pop moment), but it’s a solid album and one I imagined I’ll give a few more spins.

It took Padam and Tension a few weeks to grow on me, but in general I think if you chucked out Hands and One More Time in favour of Just Imagine and Somebody to Love it would be all killer no filler. I think Story is going to be the big keeper for me.

I had confirmed it (briefly) as well, so very interested to see how it does.

I’ve gone back and forth about 5 times this month, but ended up going with my original choice - it’s a bit riskier than my usual stuff, but it’s my favourite song of the year so it’s time to back myself *.*

Clinging onto that YTD top 3 for dear life. Definitely thought I’d slipped back to low top 10 after a few fairly lacklustre results.

Would love a unique position (9th is the dream, but realistically 23rd or 25rh would be nice)

I think the issue with any network show in the age of 8-10 episode seasons is dragging a storyline out over even half a season just feels SO SLOW. I rewatched Dynasty a few years ago and they had a doppelgänger storyline across 23 episodes (of a 31 episode season) so it’s all relative innit. I also think Scandal (and How To Get Away With Murder and Shondaland in general) helped redefine network TV for the latter half of the last decade as well, so we’ve seen bigger/better/flashier takes on it so many times now the original seems weaker in comparison. The bunker is season 4 I believe, so still a while away. Just wait until the whiplash inducing twists and turns of Season 6/7. You’ve also got to the chance to relive the point at which EVERY. CHARACTER. AND. EVERY. LINE. OF. DIALOGUE. Becomes a grandstanding monologue.

She definitely heard you (and then chose to ignore you haha). I think that was my main takeaway as well, obviously she's a very good singer, but she sounded incredible and was a lot more engaging and fun than I expected.

I quite like it, it's not as good as best tracks on A, but it's light and BREEZY and I feel will grow with further listens. It's definitely not a leftover from 2013 though, so hopefully that she's been back in the the studio gives me a little more hope that the rest of the album is going to be more than just tinkering round the edges with some new production.

I’ve toyed with rewatching a few times, I remember Seasons 2 and 3 being amazing. I enjoyed it right through to the end, but it did become absolutely unhinged sometime around Season 5.
