Pretty pleased with the results , would have preferred The Netherlands and Ireland over Serbia and Moldova, but it was fine margins. At least Latvia, Malta and Azerbaijan are gone.

Netherlands better than I thought, still not amazing vocally but should be safely through

Azerbaijan is almost offensively bland - surely that’s coming dead last

I’m usually here for a bit of ethnopop, would be happy to see that through (and think it will make it easily enough)

Israel is a great performance, it’s just a shame they forgot to write half the song

I’m not even sure what to say about Croatia - I should hate it, but it’s just a lot of fun so willing to let it go

I love this on record but the best bits of this are when he isn’t singing which doesn’t bode well (for what little hope I had)

His cameltoe is clearly the star of the show

I’ll be really disappointed if this ends up with a low mid table result, it deserves top 10 at least - it’s a properly catchy, competitive song and the visuals looks incredible. Plus there just aren’t 15-20 better songs (there’s about 5) so it would feel completely undeserved, unlike our 2012-2021 results which felt completely earned.

Thought I’d be a little lower given the last 2 months. Rontvia on top feels like the good old days!

Obviously no longer the case, but for a long time Love Profusion was a contender for my least favourite Madonna song. It always felt a bit lacking and half baked. I’ve both grown to enjoy it more over the years, and of course in comparison to much of what came post-COADF it sounds wonderful.

Lost In The Sunshine is lovely, but not up to the (admittedly very high) standard of the first 2 tracks. Her vocals are sublime on all 3 songs and the production is lush though. The first placing I’ve strongly disagreed with, although I’m not surprised. The most sonically interesting song on the album, the production is amazing and I think it’s a perfect blend of all the various Madonna’s up to the point.
