The Celebration Tour
Quite tempted to try for tickets, talked up the idea of going to the last night on the 2nd. Plus London would be much handier.

Ava Max - Diamonds & Dancefloors
This really does feel like it's going to be the first entry into the '20s pantheon of gay-interest-females-with-career-killing-second-albums-beloved-by-the-gays genre. I am 100% here for it *.*

The Celebration Tour
I'm really enjoying the visuals, nothing new in terms of themes covered or visual style, but that works quite well given the retrospective mode she's currently in.

Netflix limited series on Madonna's life announced
I was coming in to say largely the same thing. I think the concept is a sound one, but the execution (such as it seemed to be going) was unlikely to produce a result in keeping with her legacy. I think a TV series would have been a better idea, albeit less buzzy/less financially rewarding.

Delta Goodrem - TBA [DG7]
Definitely going to try for Dublin tickets, have wanted to see Delta for years.

The Celebration Tour
I saw Madonna in Amsterdam on the Rebel Heart Tour as well (will be 8 years between shows) but I also really like the idea of it being the last show of the tour - assuming she doesn’t add any more.

The Celebration Tour
So London once again madness, between us we had 7 devices going from 9.30 and the highest we were in the queue was 44,000. Ended up going for the second Amsterdam date and got lower tier seats (section 109) near the front, for much cheaper than London so counting that as a win.

What hits do you want to see on The Celebration Tour?
Just as long as we get THE LAUGH
-
The Celebration Tour
Sunday would be good as there’s no presale for those tickets either!
-
The Celebration Tour
I’m always slightly limited as Belfast has such limited routes and Dublin is 2.5 hours away (plus costs). I did have decent seats for Amsterdam on Amex presale but decided to wait for London. Not making great choices all round with this!
-
The Celebration Tour
I’m sorely tempted to just get tickets for a European date, flights are more expensive but at least I might actually GET tickets.

The Celebration Tour
Only 23,000 people ahead of me in the Live Nation presale *.*

RESULTS | PFSC Special #1: Best Pop of 2022
Came argue with that winner - overall an amazing set of songs (perhaps not unexpected given the nature of the contest). Thank you to everyone who voted for Anna, I deliberately didn’t go cheap (first time for everything!), but it was my top non-BJSC song of the year so had to share it.

RESULTS | PFSC Special #1: Best Pop of 2022
The Weeknd for the win, his best song and would be a fab winner

RESULTS | PFSC Special #1: Best Pop of 2022
Dagny and Anna should be much higher (as should Bianca & Clara)

The Celebration Tour
Well, I did manage to secure one £223 ticket, but needed 2 so let it go. Always tomorrow. And Friday. And other dates.

The Celebration Tour
She has to pay the mortgage somehow!!

What hits do you want to see on The Celebration Tour?
I really want to hear Hung Up done properly, ABBA sample and everything. I *think* that's a reasonable ask, even for 2023 Madonna.
-
The Celebration Tour
I’ve had almost the exact same conversation (he has no interest in coming so had to barter to get £150)
-
The Celebration Tour
Ticketmaster.com have tickets from $70 (albeit for seats in the gods) and $140 for decent seats.

The Celebration Tour
I’m going - I just don’t know to which venue. Annoying Amex presale doesn’t apply to the UK dates! Getting tickets for the O2 is going to be HELL, I know they’re all but certain to add more dates (I’ve seen 4 touted…) but still.

How to win a BuzzJack Song Contest
I am feeling particularly exposed in this thread as some of the comments perfectly describe Leony, Nova Miller and LOVA. After my 2/3 years most successful years in the contest I don’t really think I’m any the wiser on the specifics of what makes a winner (or a smash), I can just as easily pass them over (the other Lovesick this month for example), but for me most of the time you know it when you hear it. Which sounds really obvious, but that’s what happened with ALMA a few months back. First listen and I knew it was a smash.
