Summer Really Hurt Us is already up there with my favourite songs of the year

What Now is incredible, it’s got a lovely big dollop of ABBA in the mix, which can only ever be a good thing.

I wasn’t planning on sending ALMA given Bal only sent her a few months ago, but Summer Really Hurt Us is easily my favourite thing she’s done and just sounds HUGE so had a last minute change of heart.

Remixing one of the greatest songs ever recorded is a good starting point.

Someone has sent an absolute GEM of a song (which was my backup choice this month, which I will undoubtedly regret not sending).

Thrilled for Shattered Glass! I had planned to send it BJSC a few times, but this felt like the right outing for it. As Bre said, very obviously my entry but Laura deserves the love.

It’s good (and better than about 95% of the music currently charting), but it’s on par with album tracks from Heaven and Hell, rather than the best singles.

It feels a little too safe perhaps, it’s good but he’s definitely had better material pre Space Man (More being a prime example). It’s nice that they seem to be putting a bit of a push behind him though and Spotify/Radio seem to be on board too so hopefully it’s a hit.

I went for the Altyr entry from my options list - surprisingly less cheap than usual.

I have 3 options: 1) the Altyr entry 2) the self-recycle entry 3) the left field entry - like nothing I’ve ever sent before (and something I would normally loathe entirely) Realistically of course I will be choosing between options 1/2

I’m torn between about 15 entries. I’ve gone with one I had toyed with sending to BJSC several times. For now.

Can’t argue with a top 10 finish, but once again agonisingly close to 9th. Winona queen of 12th place too *.*
