On a personal note, I have been wanting to send BEKA for over a year. It’s not as competitive as my last few entries but it’s classic Altyr so I’m so hoping it finds it’s fans.

Despite 75% of my entries being cheap pop, I think most people could find at least one slightly more inspired artist in my back catalogue of entires. I’d just like it to be something I would want to listen to.

Altyr have gone with our backup entry from last month - it’s most definitely not a winner but it’s gorgeous and I’ve wanted to send this artist for almost a year so might as well do it now!

I was surprised by the lack of hype, when I first heard it I thought exactly the same thing!

I will post full spreadsheets tonight/tomorrow once Bre confirms I've added everything up correctly. I double and triple checked the top 3 - partly to ensure I didn't hallucinate my win. Feels so weird announcing myself as winner, especially as I had no hype at all and against such excellent competition.
