Random comment but it looks like 2012 could be rife for one hit wonders, for the first year in a long time - Alyssa Reid, Gotye, fun. , Carly Rae Jepsen - how many of these does anybody realistically expect to take a second single to the top ten (or even top 40 probably!). Radio are obviously more open to the songs themselves as opposed to just the artists behind them this year.

This. As much as I love "Somebody That I Used To Know" I don't think I could like another song by him, I would prefer it to be a one hit wonder than him having a follow up single flop in at #32 for one week a la Christina Perri

Oh, and now for my End of year #1 from 2000, I know she has some fans on Buzzjack but the general public would draw a blank I'm sure;

 

I always thought this was one of those songs everyone knew the chorus to :lol: What a great song though :wub: Deserved a higher peak than #7. It spent 14 weeks top 10 with a #6 peak in Australia :o massive there!

01 - Save The World was really poor but Antidote was excellent :heart: but there is something about Greyhound that I really love more than Antidote. The whole buildup is epic and it's great to see it going top 20 in the UK :w00t: making it the first instrumental top 20 hit since Poppiholla (another excellent track there)

05 - It is an amazing song :heart: It doesn't feel dated like a lot of Eurovision songs - this is what the contest needs!

12 - I love how it's different, I would be bored if Plan B's second album had the exact same sound as the first - a lot of artists do this and I love it when artists go in a different direction instead of trying to recreate the success of album 1.

24 - It deserved a top 10 placing :( Some of the entries that made the top 10 are awful *cough*The Fog, Terribly Dark*cough*

47 - This was not the type of song I was expecting Sean Paul to make a UK top 10 comeback with. It's not bad.
