  1. 13-03 ;; Adele - Rolling In The Deep

18-01 ;; Cee Lo Green feat. Wiz Khalifa - Bright Lights Bigger City

    21-03 ;; Noah And The Whale - L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.

24-01 ;; Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull - On The Floor

    31-01 ;; Katy B - Broken Record

  2. I was lust looking at the genre classifications on the T1000 this morning, and it strikes me that whoever descides them must be deaf or simply a complete idiot.

e.g. Pitbull at #3 classified as 'Pop'?? They have a 'Hip-hop/Rap' classification, so why haven't they used it?

I hate how LMFAO are 'pop' when they're obviously dance. I wouldn't call Pitbull's song 'hip/hop' as its more 'pop/dance'

  3. 36 - Mylo vs. Miami Sound Machine "Doctor Pressure"

    UK - 3-4-7-9-14-17-15-21-24-29-32-40-40-50-53-54-49-51-58-58-62-64-70-x (23 weeks)

This is a mash up of Mylo 'Drop The Pressure' (number 19) and Miami Sound Machine 'Dr. Beat' (number 6) to make a bigger hit, and her vocals work great on the Mylo instrumental. The instrumental on its own does get a bit boring after a few minutes so vocals were needed!

  4. 37 - T2 feat Jodie Aysha "Heartbroken"

    UK - 14-2-2-2-9-11-8-9-15-18-19-29-35-39-42-41-53-56-55-57-79-95-x (22 weeks)

The one and only garage song on the countdown, this is easily the best out from the garage revival. This is a great tune and it deserved all three weeks at number one over Leona Lewis which got really boring at the time

  5. 38 - Swedish House Mafia vs. Tinie Tempah "Miami 2 Ibiza"

    UK - 5-4-7-12-13-22-28-30-45-52-42-51-66-75-83-x-58-67-83-x-98-99-x

The instrumental is nice but not as 'epic' as previous single One. Luckily having Tinie Tempah on the song makes up for it and he is suprisingly good on the song despite him being a hip hop rapper.

  6. 40 - DJ Casper "Cha Cha Slide"

    UK - 2-1-2-2-4-5-8-10-12-17-25-34-36-40-45-56-72-74-x (18 weeks)

This is a great novelty song that I used to LOVE when I was around 6/7 when it was released. All I can say is that this has aged better than many songs I loved as a kid. (Cheeky song, fast food song, kids tv etc. :puke:)

This is an 80s number ones rate using every song that hit number 1 in the 1980s. What will happen is there will be 10 rounds, the first being 1980, then 1981 etc. up to round 10 which will be 1989. The top 4 from each round will go straight to the final, and 5th to 7th placed will go in a "wildcard" round.

The top ten songs from the "wildcard" round will be put into the final round to make a top 50 of the decade. After the final the next rate will be 00s number 2s

How you rate the songs; exactly the same as last time, you do not rate every song that hit number one, you just rate your ten favourites and your least favourite. You give +15 points to your favourite song, and the rest are as follows; This is to hopefully stop ties from happening inside the top 3.

    +15 Favourite Song

    +12 2nd Favourite Song

    +10 3rd Favourite Song

    +08 4th Favourite

    +06 5th Favourite

    +05 6th Favourite

    +04 7th Favourite

    +03 8th Favourite

    +02 9th Favourite

    +01 10th Favourite

-02 Least Favourite, or Most Hated depending on what way you look at it

These are the songs you need to rate from. You have 2 days for every round to rate. This means the deadline is Wednesday morning and hopefully round 8 (1987) will be up by then.

This means the deadline is Monday morning and hopefully round 7 (1986) will be up by then.

This song is doing very well on pre-orders and it's only just under two months until release, 3 July. It's beating Example's CTWYKM which is number 67. Future number one? It's the power of the lucozade advert.

Personally I like it and I think it'll be a grower, it could be a massive dubstep hit.

  16. 41 - Calvin Harris "Acceptable In The 80s"

    UK - 32-17-10-16-12-17-24-26-31-36-46-59-57-62-58-64-38-42-74-59-71-79-81-79-92-88-90-x (27 weeks)

This is a nice piece of electro-pop/dance which is much better than its follow-up 'The Girls'. I do love 'I'm Not Alone' but it hasn't made this chart, as there's just something about the lyrics in AIT8 that I love which isn't there in INA (plus INA has had lots of rip-offs but this hasn't been touched by anyone else)

  17. 42 - Sidney Samson "Riverside"

    UK - 2-3-5-5-13-17-23-30-40-44-39-42-46-49-67-76-77-66-67-x (19 weeks)

For UK release a rapper called Wizard Sleeve was put on the song, but I much prefer this video without Wizard, as the instrumental drops are the best part of the song as well as the part where they say "riverside muthafukka". It could have been number one too if they released it a week before 'Replay', it was very unlucky to miss out with opening sales of 90k+

  18. 43 - Martin Solveig & Dragonette "Hello"

    UK - 73-29-18-16-13-13-16-22-27-23-30-36-35-33-25-27-25-29-32- (19 weeks)

The first very recent song to chart here was an unexpected hit for Martin Solveig. The vocals by Dragonette work great on this song and airplay has helped it have a neat chart run. Bob Sinclar appears twice in a row (he has nothing to do with the song, but he's in a tennis match with Solveig in the video)

44 - Bob Sinclar & Cutee B feat. Dollarman, Big Ali & Makedah "Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now)"

    UK - 21-5-4-3-8-10-16-17-23-26-41-53-57-53-62-x (15 weeks)

My favourite of the Bob Sinclar singles, with 'Love Generation' in second. The shouty vocals make the song what it is but the girl on this song is also great. The kid on the video pretends to be many different people in the video, from Eminem to Michael Jackson.

  20. 45 - Zombie Nation "Kernkraft 400"

    UK - 2-2-5-7-12-15-23-30-39-47-64-69-72-71-71-x (15 weeks)

This is a great electro dance song back from 2000 which lost out to number one TWICE to the borefest that is Westlife and Mariah Carey. One of the mysteries is why Zombie Nation didn't name the song after themselves when they say "zombie nation" - having said that it's still a great song!
