I had thought the same about Magnusson but then when I saw how Perez's flew off to the side at high speed last weekend I got why he kept being called in and they'd consider it dangerous.

Seem to be losing a significant number of my top 10 now. I've definitely got into The Beautiful South (& Housemartins) more in recent years, a phenomenally good singles band and Perfect 10 is absolutely magnificent :wub: I have no recollection of ever hearing that Let Loose song

I still enjoy Get Lucky, but it's not something I ever really listen to now and feels like I probably give it fewer points in each iteration of this. The top 10 is decent enough, a few I'm not into but can see why they're so high (Dua, Miley), but the one song that's popularity baffles me most is Katy B, absolutely bang average nothing of a song

Feel a bit for Haas, they've had the black and orange flag multiple times this season and yet see two cars drive round with bits hanging off on Sunday without getting penalised in any way. The way Perez's wing end plate flew off showed why Magnussen has rightly received them, unsure whether it fell off before the flag normally comes out?

Great to see two of my top 5 finishing so high :heart: As much as I'm absolutely delighted at The Last Man on Earth finishing so high (I gave it 38 points and ranked it #1 of 2021) I do find it slightly odd it does so much better than Don't Delete The Kisses, given that was, and I'd say still is, their signature song, and for me still remains untouchable. Happier Than Ever was also in my top 10 of 2021, I love the way it builds and the song splits into two, I'd generally liked most of Billie's songs but didn't love any until this.

Oh wow I fell right down with those last two reveals. I'm not sure I'd have known Richard III before I bought Supergrass Best Of album, but it has long been my favourite song of theirs. They were a decent singles band for quite a while. Vindaloo was a song I loved as a kid, and as a proper England football team follower is something I remain incredibly fond of, had the voting taken place at a different time that's certainly one that could've been ranked a lot higher.

I don't think he really even failed with Arsenal. Taking over from Wenger was always going to be a huge job and they were on a significant downward trend, and it's taken a long while for his replacement to really get them firing. Realistically it's about as good an appointment as a team like Villa can make.

I managed to listen to the whole of this without turning it off before the end, so it's instantly a step up from the previous album.

Waited ages for my second vote to appear and it's the same act as the first. Those two (+ Tattva) I've always enjoyed a lot, both great songs from that era. There's been precious little in the top 100 so far that I have any time for, nothing that came close to making my votes

It's certainly plausible. All it would have taken this time were for me (or anyone else who didn't vote for it) and one of the people who gave it 10 to be drawn in the opposite semis, then there would have been a decent chance that Honey. wouldn't have even qualified.

This month was definitely a big improvement in the quality of songs in my votes, however it was the second month running where my favourite didn't make the final. In an ideal world Quintessa would have been my 18. Kathaldazia's incredibly long points run from Utopia ends :(

People Everyday would've been one of the last few songs I discounted, always enjoyed that one. The Offspring song was also something I enjoyed at the time, but they're not a band I've listened to anything from for probably 10 years

Been a busy week so only just properly caught up with this. Incredible and fully deserving winner. Not often in song contests where a discovery is something I find better than my own entry, but this was definitely one of them. Pleased Boy managed to rack up a decent number of votes, even if it didn't quite manage any big scores. Of Book of Love's four singles which are their most popular on Spotify, that is my favourite so wanted to enter that even if it might not have been the one to do best here
