I am the complete opposite. I've cared so little for the singles this is the first album of theirs I haven't bothered with. I enjoyed 2am but got bored of it fairly quickly and the rest I'd certainly rank amongst their poorest.

My first ever veto (I'm pretty sure anyway). I can reply to the thread now, was trying to keep 'noise' about it to a minimum as I knew there was a chance of this happening.

I find this to be a largely horrific list but I'll definitely be voting for Hero until it's gone!

Nice leaderboard so far. Doing slightly better than anticipated with my entry after the last couple. I listen to so little music that's not in English I felt I should send Adwaith to something, really like them and have enjoyed ETO a lot the last few months. I forgot that you voted for 12 songs in this and not 10, and had listened to my final 11 to determine scores, so the point to Jade's entry was slightly random :kink:

And A.A. Williams was the other! Listened to her lockdown album of covers a few times, some very good interpretations on there, particularly the Pixies and NiN ones

Orville Peck was one of only two acts I'd any familiarity with because of that previous entry. This was significantly better than that one!

I will make a third person predicting a low finish for my entry. If I finish outside of the bottom 5 I will be pleased!

Perez Q3 times removed and fastest Q2 time deleted so moves down to 13th. A very odd situation, watching it live it seemed blindingly obvious he'd gone off track and I was amazed it wasn't deleted instantly. Feel a bit for Gasly who'd have at least got ahead of Hamilton if allowed into Q3.

A bit late but finally given my first listen through. That health warning definitely required, my poor ears :(

The headliners and legends get equal billing on the build up and branding, and they're the only 4 slots which get their full set shown on prime BBC channel. There may be other stuff on but nowhere near to the same extent, a hell of a lot doesn't start up until the evening, and the level of acts you compete with as a headliner are in a completely different league to those playing other stages on a Sunday afternoon. I was in a group of 7 who watched Kylie Minogue, and none of us would have gone to see her as a headliner. If I'm there again next year and Spice Girls play I'd say I'd be about 90% certain I'd watch them as Legends, and about 10% chance I'd watch as headliners.

It ended up being a thrilling race, but was very worrying and concerning at the start, really shows how incredible the safety is of these cars now. I think even without the safety car it would have been a great ending for the top 3, but some of the racing after that was superb. Delighted for Sainz getting a win, but Ferrari really messing up Leclerc, not quite sure why they didn't pit him.

But this is exactly why they would get the Legends slot, and it would be great. It is the slot that gets easily the biggest crowd and has all the attention inside the festival and has as much hype as anything else. It's what brings the whole festival together, 75 minutes of the crowd having a great sing-a-long as the festival draws towards its close. It's absolutely set up for older acts that have a catalogue of songs people know to which they they can spend the afternoon singing and dancing. It's far more set up to a Spice Girls or a Kylie than it ever would be to a Cure, who you can easily have headline because they are a big act, have a long history with the festival, and there's loads more stuff on at that time for those who aren't bothered. Personally I'd find it hard to imagine not going to a Legends set, yet I'm only 1/9 for Pyramid headliners.

I am loving this. Was a bit disappointed my shifts didn't align with watching either of his main Glasto sets

I'm really enjoying all 3 but Doomscroller is absolutely epic.

I'm a local government worker and coming out of the union was the first and easiest thing to do when thinking about how to cut costs after that vote. I voted to strike but it was only something like 30% of members even bothered to vote at all. It seems like a complete waste of cash being a member, got the same £300 payrise as colleagues not in a union but I gave £265 back to them. A lot of teams at my Council have had posts downgraded and apart from some advice, often contradictory, there's been no impact from the unions at all.

It's looking like it will be an exciting race, very much looking forward to it. I suspect if he gets a half decent start Alonso will lead to start with. I think Max is now in a position and of a maturity where he won't fight too hard at the start given he can probably get past and his two main rivals are well down.

Never been hugely taken by his older stuff but really enjoying the three new ones, Through The Echoes not as much as the other two which are both great.
