  1. I LOVE this song waay too much. it's like an improved 'California Gurls', especially with that intro! I just think it's an all round American sounding song. The production is brilliant, I think a bit more of a dub-step influence on the breakdown would've just taken it to another level though, as well as a bit more life on the overall sound. But all in all it's for me their best single yet, they're not trying too hard "AFU" and it's not subpar "30 Days", for me it's just RIGHT! Brilliant tune.

If you stop listening to the remixes and watch the live performances and then watch the E! advert you would realise that it's actually quite up tempo lol.
  3. *Sorry for the double post* but it's also funny that on the GA forum, the high majority of fans aren't impressed with the song so yeah...funny that :)
  4. To be fair, I personally think 'Something new' is a poor single choice for Girls Aloud. They've stepped down their game compared to the brilliant pop tunes they've realised over the years. I think 'What About Us' is a way better song BUT I do agree that it doesn't scream at you the way 'Something New' does. And definitely doesn't carry the personality and sass in comparison but you have to remember GA have 10 years of experience to bring to the table so naturally, they'll be freer about who they are in my opinion. The Saturdays have never been THAT in your face so maybe it's too late for them to start so.
  5. Absolutely love it. Like said above, it does sound very instant and it's their first one that sounds like an instant 'hit'. I'm impressed cos it sounds dancey-pop but it's also very different and refreshing. The drum beat is probably what makes it stand apart. Can't WAIT for the HQ!!

The girls are going to America now, probably this weekend or on Monday. My friend was at Vanessa's leaving party yesterday and he said she'll be gone for a while so yaay!
  7. Not particularly ground breaking in comparison to songs like "Black heart" but I'm thinking the music, videos and harmonies are gonna be amazing!!
  8. Am I the only one thinking Keisha's talking about her solo album? Hahaha
  9. I don't know why mollie keeps being mentioned. She's a decent looking blonde but yeah, sub par vocalist and not a fantastic performer either. Who is she to judge anyone? Her personality is great but she would get slated by everyone. At least Cheryl can perform like hell and can try to attempt an average vocal. Rochelle is an okay choice, she's a gd performer, average singer but her personality and personal life also add to her credentials i guess.
  10. Hey guys is the re-release off On your Radar called on MY Radar? Or was that an error the tv people made, because on tv they had 'On My Radar' at the end of 30 days :s
  11. Yeah tell me about it, glad I bumpt in to it. The girls look amazingg. I can't stand widescreen videos cos I feel like I'm missing bits out lol. The solo shots look a little cheap too OTHERWISE, everything else is fantastic and charming as it showcases the girls personalities. It's making me love the song a whole lot more!
  12. I guess noone else is watching "On set with the saturdays" on MTV for '30 days'? The video looks very fresh, exciting and american haha. Quite 'higher' inspired.
  13. Aww, her original partner was a HUNK! Lool sorry, that's the main thing that caught my attention.
  14. Rochelle and Mollie duets album? LOL just kidding
  15. Why Rochelle has tweeted that she's in the studio is beyond me, what for? *sighs* Hello album no. 5
