I'm completely at a loss now cos Vanessa sounded fantastic at the Jingle Bell Ball 'Forever is over'. And I'm not talking about the very strongly backing tracked chorus but her actual ad-libs. As if she had to prove herself, he last note run in particular was great, the tone, strength AND vibrato was just a good change to hear. Maybe she's on the road to recover and more tour performances will be like that.

Come join us in 2011 and not Vanessa hay days before 2009 and you're find that you're very wrong. Obviously it wouldn't work if Vanessa actually left cos they'd need a 5th member but vocally Vanessa is number 3 if not 4 now. her voice is not solo material and nether is her persona. Rochelle is the best singer now "Promise Me" proves that, she carried that chorus like Vanessa used to and Una is definitely second strongest so... :)

I think the auto tune is more prominent on Vanessa's mic because Frankie and Rochelle have some quite obvious sharp notes and flat notes in their solos. I'd like a HD performance to really make sure though. Do what you want with me is such a SHAME live. I wish Rochelle took over the belting part of the chorus because Vanessa's just pathetic. I really want to insult her on twitter lol. She needs to either fix up or get gone.

^ No it wasn't lol. Her vocals were still dodgy. The harmonies sounded fantastic though but Vanessa's vocals really kill it. Ego was absolutely shocking and they shouldn't have done Winter Wonderland considering how phenomenal her voice was back then. It really is a shame what's happened to her voice. I do love the set though and the outfits. The hooded jumpers reminded me of "Something kinda oooh" from I think the Tangled Up Tour (Girls Aloud). Everything is brilliant besides Vanessa's voice. Rochelle's vocals on "Promise Me" were smashingg as well.
  5. Lol its not even funny how irrelevant Travie McCoy is -.- but whatever, bring on the next flop lol. 'Faster' would've been bigger with a proper video but oh well we'll see.
  6. Lovee it too
  7. Ha, I remember noone really heard the amazingness in Do What You Want With Me initially. Thank God people are starting to get how amazing that song is now.
  8. Seriously....where is this album? -__- looool
  9. How come the songs aren't on youtube yet? lol. I'm EAGER!
  10. After listening to this in HQ in iTunes I have to say.......... I am f*cking blown away! So happy with this album the 21st can't come soon enough. "For Myself" and "Move On U" are growing on me like a fungus in HQ. Like I'm actually addicted. Although "Do what you want with me" is still my outstanding track on the album followed by "I say Ok". The hooks on this album are so strong it's ridiculous.
  11. I think her singing the falsetto and then emphasizing the "Do what you want with me" in chest voice is what makes the chorus as hooky and dynamic as it is. If it was belting from start to finish I think it will become tiring and less endearing. Depends on what you prefer I guess.
  12. I'm glad more people are liking 'DWYWWM'! My faith in the saturday's fans taste in music has been restored loool
  13. 'Last Call' is okay but it doesn't sound that fantastic. Nothing ground breaking musically which is not too suprising because Vanessa is the only member who so far voices that she listens to actual strong musicians with interesting unique chord progressions in their musics like Corinne Bailey Rae and Sade etc. I know The Saturdays are pop but come on. Girls Aloud have some amazing pop songs that aren't that complex musically, 'Call The Shots', 'Something Kinda Oooh', 'The Loving Kind' and I feel like The Saturdays are just short of AMAZING music. It's all okay but nothing sounds like a smash hit. 'Do What You Want With Me' has actually got quite slick production and has a nice vibe about it. Would be amazing in a club, probably my favourite from everything. Kinda reminds me of Britney - Inside Out which is a mega plus. 'Faster' sounds like a reject Alexis Jordan song. The 'fast fast fast fast' echo's in the chorus just sounds so silly. Another disappointment. Hope the other songs pick up this album. I'm still annoyed about 'Turn Myself In' lol. EDIT: Okay, maybe I was a little harsh initially because at 1am I listen to music differently and I can actually hear the amount of effort the girls have put into the album. 'Do What You Want With Me', is probably the most exciting things I've ever heard from a girlband in my life! Can't wait to purchase this album.
  14. Boring song, the chorus doesn't lift it to go anywhere. The chord changes are so dull and lackluster. I like the harmonies though and the verse. But definitely not all that. Sounds like a B-side to be honest. Turn Myself In would've been a better fit than that junk.
  15. The girls have truly outdone themselves with that video. It's so mature, beautiful and natural. Their chemistry as a group of friends as well as bandmates is effortless. And from the beggining the girls have always had a classy demure about them and it really shows in this video which is Issues II but better. They're conveying emotions is so believeable and they're really growing. This is probably the highlight of this year for me when it comes to the girls and what they've done so far, can't wait to see the rest of the video! Frankie always shines looks wise indeed and I'm also impressed with Vanessa and Rochelle. Beauts!! Love their outfits too
  16. I dunno about you but the last time I check my baths 313k was more than 311k ^_^
  17. To be deadly honest, the song sounds like any 2 rnb female singers. I swear Una has a little solo? Maybe I haven't listened to her voice properly but yeah it's nothing special now considering is a ballad without mind blowing adlibs from Vanessa to set their vocal standards higher. It's actually a really nice song but it's no 'Issues, Denial' or 'Here Standing'. I'd rather hear Frankie and Mollie and more Una as well without Vanessa's adlibs than losing 3 other voices as well as Vanessa's ad libs. It makes no sense.

Aww, it's so sweet how their all flying over to Una's as if there's a physical baby there already hahaha. You could sort of tell something was fishy since the rumors started. But it really is sweet how they all love eachother, that's amazing. So happy for her. Una's officially the hottest MILF ever, forget Beyoncé.
  19. Can't believe Heidi's showing her mid riff a bit haha. Thank God she's not dressing like a 40 year old housewife anymore and is actually showing how young and hot she is. Gotta pull all the strings for some success
  20. Yeah Shadows got a point lol. And I have to say I agree with you, I'm always fascinated by a bands chemistry and I seriously thought it was just me that felt that way. Maybe they just don't relate to eachother, although they do get have times when they interact but in comparison to other pairings it's definitely the least. Glad to know it wasn't just me that noticed :D
  21. I am so much more inlove with the babes now. Saw them up close and personal at G-A-Y and DAMN they looked good. Heidi in particular looked gorgeous!! I'm just in the process of uploading my footage atm. Freedom is such a fantastic song. So Euphoric.
  22. Does it not suprise everyone how Moves Like Jagger is still basically dominating the itunes charts, with zero promotion. Only a sexy video with Adam Levine topless for 70% of the time lol. That truly amazes me, so effortless yet the UK artists are the ones struggling about WITH promotion =|
  23. Lol, everyone really wants the Sats to succeed. And Mike has a good fanbase and is very much up and coming with his first MOBO nomination. I mean even Wretch 32 tweeted about them. But why is it never concrete? So much support. Lady Gaga could even tweet about it with her 10 million followers yet somehow by Thursday Pixie would be ahead lol. Maybe the public just doesn't care for any groups besides Girls Aloud I'm beginning to wonder.
  24. This song is actually amazing in HD !! Ahhhh. I take back whatever disappointments I had in Xenomania :P
