  1. So the girls will be Jonathan Ross next week. I kinda cringed when Jonathan Ross labelled them as a "chart topping group" haha. I hope they'll perform 'All Fired Up' as well like Adele this week.
  2. Pre-recorded vocals definitely. Their vocals sounds studio mixed and their voices are way too solid to be genuine and raw.
  3. In all honesty and this might be rash but, I dont see the Sats ever having a BIG hit. I think it's too late now since people already kinda know them theyre nothing fresh. Although, I think if they could pull a massive collab then they could possibly have a 400k - 500k selling single but on their own i've lost all faith in their marketing strategy and song choices.
  4. If I was Mutya I would just dig a grave and lay in it haha. She's such a mug loooooooooooool
  5. Olly sold 109k? :o WOW! Damn, The Sats don't stand a chance next week tbh lol. I feel like there hasn't really been a buzz for All Fired Up although it's got decent tv play there hasn't been much promo for it.
  6. So I was at G-A-Y yesterday and the babes are going to be performing on the 10th! I'm soo excited. I'm definitely going!
  7. Tell me about it! How annoying is that? :( I hate 'Give Me Everything' with a passion!!
  8. LOOL That is the most embarrassing 8 pages I've ever read on this forum ha. The fact that some people got so excited over the possibilities of ruining 4.0's career when in fact Mutya failed ha. Stationery?! Really? lool, what a banging reward. I wish she hadn't done it at all, now she's a laughing stock lol. I'm not even a supporter of 4.0 to be honest but some things I just don't find mature. Her applying for rights were fine, but the misinterpretation she had over what she'd actually achieved is the pathetic part lol. She should brush up on her intelligence and not think about hindering others' success.

I think they sound forced because they are just hard notes to reach but she does it quite well. You also have to factor in that during a performance like that which seems quite intimate, it would be quite weird if she really relaxed her throat and belted 100% because she would be really loud in comparison to others so maybe that's where the forced quality comes from because the notes are easily accessible for her. Either way it's disturbing to see how much her voice has regressed.

Thanks Martyn. I sorted it now :D but yeah, her vocals in that are amazing.

dRejGY2GKHs Crazy how Vanessa could sing the ad-libs at the end of UP so effortlessly here in 2008 :(. Comparing this to the V performance is actually depressing lool. Am I the only one who can't see the video? :(

I'm watching them right now on V being interviewed and stuff when they arrived and they seem completely normal and have their usual happy connected persona. Perhaps if something did happen it was JUST before they went on stage. I still think Rochelle is the one who had something to piss her off though.

And to add on to my point about Vanessa's voice! She actually BELTED the majority of the Forever Is Over chorus :o! Which NEVER happens haha. I think people need to cut her some slack

I have to disagree about Vanessas vocals there. Her voice for once didn't sound coarse and scratchy even though she was straining, it's quite evident that her voice has gotten significantly lower and settling more into a mezzo/alto range. It was hwoever clear and quite strong in sound (Ego, Issues *she tried lol* Notorious in paritcular, Higher was fantastic). Although in Ego for example, there happened to be some sort of backing track playing along slightly out of time and maybe that's what made her voice sound worse but when you actually listen her intonation and pitching as well as overall tone is a lot cleaner than it was during the Notorious promo. I think their in ears weren't working and I completely agree on the pissed off vibe. Especially Rochelle, you could tell she wasn't happy in particular. V Festival always has pathetic technical equipment for singing groups. Even in 2009 their performances were shockingly bad

It still amazes me how Frankie is the most popular one. I guess EVERY guy does fancy her and she dated Dougie but man, it's ridiculous lool. And I still reckon Winter Wonderland live lounge is their best vocal performance.
  16. The video teaser looks AMAZING! But I'm going to be completely honest, I'm a bit disappointed in the grim/sad looks the girls have, I mean that in the sense of you can obviously tell there is nowhere where the illuminati/freemason agenda doesn't exist and you can see them wearing tight leather like britney in hold it against me, or christina aguilera - not myself tonight. Very sexual stuff and it's definitely not as colourful and happy as I expected it to be. We'll see on the full video I guess but the trend is there in music videos these days and I can say I'm not suprised they've been dragged in to it as well. And may I also point out how you can see the girls are ALL dressed in white and seem quite virginal and innocent and then you see them in the black outfits looking a lot more fierce and sexual. Another common trend in these video's :(. I may be delusional and paranoid but I 99% doubt it lol.
  17. It's not their manager or anything haha. It's one of Mollie's closest friends. She was there in 24/7 when she went to get her feet eaten by those fish things and she's there quite a lot. Man I sound like such a mega fan :(
  18. So I'm guessing this was part of promo for the All Fired Up? Well I'm very pleased with Vanessa's attitude and persona here, she seems quite happy and talkative! Woo.
  19. I'm absolutely in love with this song! And did anyone else see the recent pictures from the video shoot? They looked gorgeous, standing infront of some shop looking very colourful and gorgeous. I think the video is going to be fantastic!
  20. Lool yeah, those shorts she's been wearing have been awful although last night I'm pretty sure she may have been wearing shorts although she had a massive white cardigan so it may have been covering up her belly. Her legs looked toned and slim though, but if you look on like the Audley end performance her legs look quite thick haha :/. And I so agree on the long hair, she looked gorgeous. I didn't like the Notorious hair, although it looked good in the video. And yes Frankies hair really needs to get its grow on haha
  21. I hope the performances pick up and the choreography is somehow improved because the one they use atm is mega cringey for me ha. And this song definitely needs every single part of the campaign to be on point. This is soo weird because I saw Vanessa again tonight and she looked gorgeous, slim and her hair is 100% dark brown now :/...but when she's on stage and on videos, she seems as though she has put on weight and doesn't look very happy. But tonight she looked vibrant and stunning. I guess being on stage you may think these people aren't committed or happy when they actually are. Hmm, guess we'll have to see if her voice and stage presence has improved.
  22. Eurgh, I know repetitiveness is all good and well but that just sounds so desperate. Everyone is sick of dance music too at the moment, I guess it could still succeed and do very well but it's nothing ground breaking at all. The lyrics too are just shockingly pathetic "lets party" bla bla, to a very obvious beat for partying it's like - we get it, you want this to be a wicked club banger but that's just cringey.
  23. I just noticed, just like that Sugababes song with the demo singer, the verse chords and perhaps a bit of the chorus for Carried Away are quite similar to The Saturdays - Forever is over ha. But anyway I think with the right video and campaign, Carried Away could be a ground breaking hit for Keisha.
  24. Ahh I absolutely love "Beautiful mess" it's quite similar to "Irreplaceable" in a sense. But I like the anthem to it. And "Carried Away" is just gorgeouss! She's never actually used her falsetto so much I don't think and it's beautiful. I really hope she's got a couple out of this world uptempos on her album though, no particularly dance cos that's dying out, but something different. Coupled with these songs, she's definitely gonna hit the mark.
  25. So they're gonna perform this today, disappear for a couple months and come back with promo for the September release? -__-, how dumb is their management? T4 on the Beach is some great promo, and then line up some promo during the week and then release the single the week after maybe? May not be OS/OA but it would definitely work I think. Now a hell of a lot of people are gonna hear the song and it wont be available for purchase. By September when they hear it again, it's gonna seem dated and old.
