Kylie is one of my all time favourite artists, but even I want her to take a little break to be creatively inspired again. Everything since ‘Tension’ has been uninspired at best and downright bad at worst. This is no different. I need a 2-3 year gap and some new musical influences mama.

No - she performed Catfish and Denial Is A River. People just love Nissan Altra as it’s a fan favourite from the new album.

I am not surprised by the almost 50% second day drop. I just don't think this was ever going to catch on with the GP the way 'Angel' did. Sure, 'Angel' was experimental but it also had a massive chorus. This is basically chorus-less and the production is jarring. I think it debuted high due to the lack of new music in January, the fact that the fans have been teased snippets since 'Angels' release, and the better promotion via. social media in comparison to 'Fantasy'. Maybe I will be proved wrong, and still hope it can make the top 40 this week (although I think slightly more likely to just miss out)... but I think we need to accept this song is much more divisive and doesn't have big cross over appeal.

Doechii come on!!!

Thrilled Doechii is up to #80 One of my fave songs of last year, so I really would love it to break through. Such a great hip-hop track and seems like everything aligning for it to be her time.

Met the girls today at an album signing, they are so lovely. I’m so hoping this can at least sneak top 10? Surely 6k is reasonably possible, as they have plenty of signings etc and I feel like they do have a small loyal R&B UK fanbase? I hope anyway. The album is very good. I do think it is missing a few big hitter songs… I know ‘Fly Girl’ is over a year old, but I would have included it if I were then. ‘Check’ and ‘In My Bag’ are definitely the biggest sounding songs on here. I absolutely adore ‘AAA’, ‘Trustworthy’ and ‘On & On’ - they are soooo good at that kind of melodic R&B and the vocal arrangements are insane. Some of the later tracks which are bops like ‘Shoulda Woulda Coulda’ and ‘Noctunal’ I think have a lot of potential, but really lack in any live instrumentation to make them come alive. I think this is a great 7.5/8 out of 10 debut from the girls, and shows their potential. I just want them to hone their sound even more and take some more risks from here on out. I hope this album does decently enough in the charts on Friday that it allows them time for that…

This was spellbinding. Definitely one of my favourite films of the year. It felt so full of life, had real depth of characters and some of the funniest sequences I’ve seen in ages. Real incredible stuff.

The charts are dire right now... I am hoping something fun comes our way in January because the lack of any exciting hits along with the Xmas song takeover, I feel like this year is now a write off.

Gaga seems to having a similar run so far to the Charli/Ariana collab. I am hoping it can pick up, but it was never going to rise on a Sunday. The music video needs to come fast to get it back in Top 20!

#23 and #29 in the US and UK at this stage isn’t great… but with such a muted release for a lead single, and the Bruno collab and her just releasing a soundtrack album for a high profile film, it was always going to be a big ask. I still believe that a top 10 debut officially should be possible. Now she’s needs to release a killer music video ASAP to get everyone talking!

I’m hoping with the release of the physicals and it’s Apple performance, we should hopefully still be looking at top 20 or at worst top 30, surely? I really hope so. I think sadly “buzz” tracks don’t mean anything for the British public, having two songs out in three weeks definitely doesn’t make people focus on just one. Plus Angel definitely got a lot of “first solo single” interest and grew into a massive hit by being so arresting. This doesn’t have either of those things… it’s a lovely song but doesn’t make you pay attention. As cute as ‘Fantasy’ is, Jessie Ware hasn’t had a big crossover hit with this style, so I’m surprised they ever thought this would be the song to keep the hit momentum going. Let’s just hope for a decent first week showing.

I’m sorry to say… but after Angel of My Dreams I’m going to have admit I’m kind of disappointed by this. It’s very Jessie Ware but the chorus isn’t super strong. I can’t be the only one hoping for a bigger chorus after the part that was already teased? It’s a good album track but I wouldn’t have picked as the second single personally. I hope the video sells the f*** out of it and helps give it more stability, but my gut says this won’t do anything like the success of Angel.

You really think that high? I think we have to be realistic. I think it won't do quite as high as AOMD as there isn't that debut single hype from the start. I think anything over 200k would be a win for Spotify debut!

Seems like the cheaper CD single and cassette are out on Oct 18th and the 7’ inch single is the only one they are holding back to 25th.

If I’m honest I love the verses but the production on the chorus I don’t love, it sounds so cheap. I do much prefer the Confidence Man remix I have to say. That would have worked much better.

It’s the first thing I thought of straight away… we know she stans our Tinashe so surely it was loosely inspired by it? Also on 3rd listen I’m loving it a lot more. I actually think I will grow to love this.

Yeah this is cute. Reminds me a little bit of ‘Die A Little Bit’ by Tinashe but not quite as interesting. It’s a decent album track, and cute to have something else. But it definitely is only an album track. I’m excited for the next official single.

I honestly can't see this doing any more than 7k in all honesty. I am going to go with a peak of around 12-13 in the end.

I think this may go down as one of the worst pop albums ever released by a former A-list popstar? Literal 1/10 stuff here. OMG.

Looks like the majority of the good seats are £189 rather than these being massively VIP ones which is a shame. Apparently the seats in front of the B stage are £161, and the best ones around the side are £138. Looks like the seats front facing at the back range from £76-£115. I was hoping would be similar to Hype Park prices but these definitely seem higher. Basically £140 is the lowest you have to pay unless you want very very far away seats.

Gaga & Bruno actually rising on US Spotify into top 10, so it’s a shame it’s had a drop here. It seems very stable though and can see it being a decent sized hit in the long run.

This is an absolute nonsense. Her last album sold over 50k first week in the UK and was one of the fastest selling albums of that year. She’s still a very big name.

Sad seeing Jade fall so much every day… oh well
