I honestly think it could sneak in with the CD release… As much as I would love it to get even higher, I think it can hopefully peak in a few weeks still at around #9 or #10 is what I’m thinking right now. Either way, if it peaks top 20 only, that is still a massive massive win so don’t want to get too carried away and disappointed.

I don’t get the meh reactions on here. Sure it doesn’t sound as trend chasing hit as CTH but I immediately think this is another great pop song from Zara.

I think the drop for Mae is obviously not great, but despite the 15 place drop she only went down around 38,000 streams compared to Sunday which is the day after Eurovision which will obviously be naturally higher. It’s not like the streams suddenly halved… normally for a Eurovision song we would say those numbers are still impressive.

I don’t mind the staging. It’s absolutely the vocals that are the problem. She just isn’t a good vocalist. I predict 23rd in the final.

I’m predicting around 60k.

Yes, Jessie made the comment at the album launch party I was at in London… It was entirely playful in a room of her fans. The response about her parents seems a little unnecessary. I’m hoping the rebranding from the last albums has given her enough new fans to make sure this opens with a more healthy opening that WYP and can be in contention. Fingers crossed.

Yeah, so after sitting with this for a day I do love the album for what it is - Jessie essentially letting loose and feeling like she has nothing to lose and having fun. It’s definitely a lot more kitchy than I’m used to from her, and sometimes I do sadly think some of the tracks edge in pastiche territory, especially ‘Shake The Bottle’ and to a lesser-extent ‘Beautiful People’ which sounds to me like Kylie’s ‘Monday Blues’ just done a little better. However, it does feel very self assured to just go full out and be unapologetically in your face. It absolutely works on gems like ‘Freak Me Now’ and ‘These Lips’ but I do find myself drawn to the more paired back sophisti-pop that she’s known for in songs like ‘Begin Again’ and ‘Lightning’ which is a lovely call-back to the cool sweeping R&B of her first album. Absolutely on board, and even though this is definitely no ‘What’s Your Pleasure’ I’m very glad she’s done a fantastic album to dance to which doesn’t just feel like a Part 2 of the last project.

Virgos Groove is a brilliant choice… absolute earworm. I did think Americas Got a Problem was going to be next, but I think that is organically growing anyway so maybe they wanted to push something else.

I’ve definitely got to sit with this album some more as it’s a even poppier and much lighter collection that even WYP was.. I have to say ‘Freak Me Now’ is an absolute stonker of a track and absolutely sounds like a huge hit (even though it won’t be!)

I’m predicting an opening of around 65k.

Begin Again is lush! My favourite of the three tracks so far.

Oh dear god.. these vocals are truly shocking. No way are we getting anywhere near left side. I think it could be between us and Poland for last place at this rate, unless something drastic happens vocally between now and May.

I am surprised 'The Show' is as low as their 16th best selling single. Deserved to be top 10 for sure.

Such lovely updates for FLO on Apple Music but still waiting for Spotify to come through...

Strange to see FLO rising steadily to 32 on Apple Music and then falling 110 places on Spotify in one day. Maybe I got too excited about chart prospects this week and they can recover. It’s too good not to be their first hit.

62 debut for FLO is awesome… if this rises through the week it could even debut top 40/50. Big deal for them.
