Kylie robbed of #1!!

Wow - 306k in a single week is insane. I knew CGYOOMH was a mammoth but that’s ridiculous.

Looking at those figures, I do think top 10 may be a struggle depending on how strong the figures are... if they are as strong as last week it may be hard. I am predicting: - Physical - 10,500 (most fans will have already bought theirs, but she has released new ones today so that could climb more) - Download - 3,000 (don't see it doing more than double it is now, as already falling down iTunes slightly and doing around 170 a day) - Streams - 9,000 (if it has done 3.5k with Friday it's strongest day included... I don't see 10k being reachable) - Video - 500 (views aren't huge) = 23,000 final sales figures As I said, depends on the strength of the other songs in that region... but those sales would have given Leigh a #15 position last week. I think an active Twitter campaign could turn it around though and keep top 10 if it galvanises the LM fanbase... maybe a Wednesday or Thursday update showing it is just about to fall out of top 10 would manage to do that so still all to play for?

I know streams are normally behind aren't they? So that will be streams for Friday and Saturday and not yesterday?? So two days? Seeing as it is out of the Spotify 200 I am slightly worried it may struggle to hit the 10k streams mark.

Given the fact that 21 and 33 were only 24,000 streams apart yesterday, doesn't seem too bad a Sunday drop off for Kylie. Hope it can solidify a top 20 position over next few days.

Agreed - it seems to be rising on its own, I would rather they saved remixes for week 10 now to make sure it avoids ACR.

Let’s face it, although she’s from LM, Leigh-Anne is brand new as a solo act so I really don’t think that there is that much difference her being #4 or #1 on NMF. I mean if you’re making the effort to check that playlist, surely you’re looking down more than 1 song? I’m sure when you click on the playlist, normally at least the first 4 songs are visible straight away before you press play. I don’t think the lack of playlist support is to blame for her fall today sadly… for a launch of a new artist it has been pretty supported. Lots of artists would dream of such high placings straight away.

Brilliant news - that’s 10k up from yesterday so continuing to rise. I think we all know a Sunday streaming drop off will happen tomorrow but it would be incredible if it could stay above 700k and stay that way all week…

Miracle back at #1??? Wow? I completely missed that as a possibility. I just assumed Dave was miles ahead still.

I mean if Leigh-Anne has really shifted 10k in CD’s then this first look was always going to massively warped for her benefit.. Hopefully the high position will get traction on Twitter and people will get behind her to stay top 10 as it could fall quite massively throughout the week looking at streaming numbers..

Also when you take into account songs above Kylie who are on ACR, she’s actually #17 on Spotify.

I’m not sure about cassettes but we know that download data is always more up to date on this first look chart than the streaming data, so the fact she’s still #1 on iTunes, even over Leigh-Anne, with three versions.. I thought she was always a top 10 shoe in for this first look tbh.

I mean she’s up to #5 on Apple Music so I think streaming alone she could have enough to stay top 10, and she’s still on #1 on downloads… so I’m not sure anymore whether a fall is inevitable.

5 on Apple Music is insane. If she can safely stay top 5/10 on Apple and Amazon and get herself inside the Spotify top 20 for this week coming, I do think this could easily officially peak top 5… come on Kylie!!! The good will is outstanding.

Absolutely loving ‘Little Things’ right now… I’m glad it’s looking to become one of her biggest hits. Between Jorja and Peggy Gou there are some great tracks knocking on top 10’s door.

This Peggy Gou song is great… I would be super happy if it blew up this summer.

Yeah I can imagine Leigh Anne would make top 10 if she has a 10k boost from CD’s - can’t imagine her getting less than 12-14,000 from streaming and then she’s number one on iTunes too, so I think at least 3-4,000 downloads. If that’s the case I’m predicting around 27,000 for her. I think she’s definitely a low top 10 contender. Hannah Laing, Leigh Anne and potentially Rema could knock Kylie down but she should be ahead of David Kushner and potentially Harry if he starts to fall off a bit? And Rema is obviously up for grabs. I can see her staying around 9-10 this week and doing similar overall numbers to last week (despite an uptake in streams).

I mean if Vulgar was going to flop, 69 is a fitting peak :lol:

Does anyone else think the melody of the chorus is such a rip-off of ‘Keep This Fire Burning’ by Robyn/Beverley Knight? Just me?

Anne Marie and Becky Hill having decent offerings back to back? Who would have thought! Shame if these end up some of their lowest charting singles as surely some of their best.

Agreed. I am bored of the warnings of not ruining the chart reveal every week... for people to find new roundabout ways of doing exactly that.
