Sadly this is really disappointing. After such a good run of her first three albums, this is almost entirely a miss. I’ll keep ‘f*** Love’, ‘Deadend’ and ‘I Still Love You’ and that’s pretty much it :(

This is a strange critique for me as there is nothing wrong with showing versatility. Ciara is one of the best dancers in the industry too and yet some of her best songs are mid-tempos like ‘Dance Like We’re Making Love’, ‘Body Party’ and ‘Promise’. We all know Normani can dance the house down. I am really enjoying this as something different.

I don’t think we can underestimate Putin’s ability to do anything at this stage. No one really though he was going to go for a full on invasion of Ukraine and he did. Now Russia and it’s people have the world hitting them with all sorts of repercussions and they are becoming more and more isolated. With the number of casualties on the Russian side, this already doesn’t look like it’s going Putin’s way. When a wounded animal is backed into a corner they can do anything. He’s already shown he doesn’t care for the safety of the Russian people otherwise this would never be happening. I honestly think we cannot just think that this threat of nukes is a bluff as I think he’s insane enough to decided that if he’s losing, he will burn the world down on the way out. I so hope that for the safety of everyone that someone from inside the Kremlin saves the day and knocks him off for good before this goes to the point of no return.

I have to admit I’ve done a full 180 on Jasmine. She’s went from one of my least favs to me being obsessed in two weeks. Her fight last week was iconic, she made me howl in the acting challenge and was lovely to see her so vulnerable in Untucked. She really has started to give us so many moments to remember. I’m still team Camden and Angie all the way though overall.

Adele’s US Billboard predictions have come out and they are 800-850k. Seeing as 25 opened with 3.5 million in first week sales, this is looking at around 1/4 of the number in the US. In comparison, we know that Adele is likely to be on way over 200k here seeing as it’s already at 167k with some streaming info missing, 4 days of sales to go and some kind of boost from the ITV Special to take into account. So her sales here are actually fairing a less sharp decline than overseas. Looking like it will be a closer to a 1/3 of 25’s opening sales here.

I think 4.4 million is pretty good figures if I’m honest. I didn’t expect it to get crazy viewing figures but that’s still 4.4 million people she’s reached and got extra promo for this album. Not too shabby at all and everyone’s raving about how good it was, so has got people talking. I hope it can boost the album sales so we can reach at least 300k sales this week.

I really hope the TV Special boosts her sales this week as it was utterly spellbindingly brilliant - so much better than I was even expecting. Smashed it out the park.

The video is bat shit crazy but I loved every second of it. Felt almost like a fever dream. Obsessed.

It’s lovely isn’t it? I do think it’s very Adele by numbers but still is so melodic and lovely. I agree, it’s very ‘Turning Tables’

Sadly this season continues to disappoint me. Don’t think I would ever listen to either of the track again, but it’s clear the slower group were far more cohesive. Definitely a big comedown after the amazing girl groups challenges of S1 and S2. Also very confused by the double shantay - Charity clearly gave more than Scarlett in the lip sync who should have went home sadly, as much as I do enjoy Scarlett. She dropped the ball tonight on the challenge, her look and then the lip sync. I worry with Charity underperforming and Victoria injured, this season is lacking any stand out stars. I guess I’ll be supporting Kitty despite her below average runways.
