    This is going to get so hard when we really get down to it, dreading it already.

     

    'Heard 'Em Say' for me is my early pick. So uneventful for a Kanye song. Didn't think 'Slow Jamz' would stick about too long but doesn't strike me as being worthy of first to go, even if it is a bit forgotten.

    The reason it is so much of a throwback is because it is almost a cover of this :lol:

     

     

    Obviously I can't hate it because it uses this so much (even jacking the Left Eye rap) but I don't feel like it brings much new to it and her voice is positively unexciting.

    YAASSSS back so soon, I know what my soundtrack for the next few months will be already. My baby is back with even more goodies for us all and so fast as well.

    Only 5 days to wait, she is too good to us.

    Definitely a nice video for a nice song. My only problem with this whole thing is that I don't see any artistic progression - it very much feels like we have seen this before from Ciara, the video for instance is very similar to what she has come out with before. Sure, it's good, but I would like to see Ciara get more sonically and visually creative as she is incredibly talented and I think she has more in her than this package.

    I wouldn't think we should expect to hear anything until around late April/May time then, with the album out coming into Summer possibly? March seemed a little too good to be true :(

    When people move on to 3rd/4th/5th singles I don't think top 10s are expected, I think album sales are what are important. Ella's album is still easily in the top 40. Job done.

     

    I think not even breaking the top 200 on iTunes when the single is being supported by Radio 1 and you have a #1 single from the same era is a major under-performance no matter which way you look at it.

     

    The album has sold decently (not great) so it's not like everyone already owns the song. The album remaining top 40 really isn't much of an achievement when the sales climate is so awful anyway on top of that. It appears as if the song just is not connecting with the British public at all, it is just a bad bad single choice.

    She posted on Insta that she is back in the studio finishing recording the rest of mixtape number 2, which is being released later in the year (let's actually put some trust in Azealia's release dates for once, giving you the benefit of the doubt that you've finally got your shit together sis). So excited for new music again because BWET was everything I wanted it to be and was completely worth the horrendously long wait. Bring me it AZ.

     

    Not sure if this is still going to appear as it was leaked a good while ago but 'Count Contessa' still remains a bit of a tune anyway, and knowing AZ (with putting 212 on her BWET) I wouldn't be surprised if it stayed:
