Yeah, been enjoying this for a little while. I don't love love it yet but it is a very strong debut and would be great to see it become a proper hit.

Not his best album title but the standard is pretty damn high and it is certainly still a good one, very much showing a contrast to 'Yeezus'.

'All Day' has got me so hyped for this again. It really is exactly the Kanye I love, I am upset I ever doubted him this time around.

 

Got me re-obsessing for all his previous albums as well (never that I truly stopped) :wub:

After 'Telephone' goes can we pleaaaase move onto the over-rated 'Irreplaceable'? The only weak link here.

This is far better than 'X' for me.

I am by no means a Chris fan, in fact I don't really like him at all but thought I would give this a listen as 'X' had some really good songs on it and was his best in a good while.

 

I never thought I'd like a Chris album as much as this. Just so many fun jams like you would expect but what really surprised me is how strong all the mid-tempos are as well. Great record.

I actually can't get enough of this.

 

So much better than 'Heartbeat Song' it hurts.

Gutted 'Birdman' won best picture. Apart from 'American Sniper' its was by far my least favourite :(

 

'Boyhood', 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' and 'Selma' should have done far better.

Wasn't terrible but wouldn't listen out of choice. The original is perfect as it was and I am so bored of Iggy's nasally rapping voice and weak flow so I will just stay away from the single version.

Gutted about the Iggy feature.

 

Hopefully it won't ruin it too much and will allow for much more exposure.

Where was 'What I Did For Love' before Eastenders?

Always thought he was basically low-key trash before but this album is a pleasant surprise. I mean, it's hardly great, but certainly a strong album that I can find some highlights in that I want to revisit.

 

His flow at the end of 'Paradise' completely outshines everything though :wub:

I think it's rather lovely really. It is certainly not the best I have heard from him but everything we have heard from him has been continuously strong so...

Please can this be massive and get Tinashe's name out there before the release of 'All Hands On Deck' which can subsequently blow up too off the back of it (sending the album sky high and 8x Platinum)

No way. His music is so non-descript. Some of it may be "nice" but it's all just easy listening radio catered nothing.

 

I'd rather my artists had more than just being "nice".

Tinashe has confirmed that the single version of this will have a feature, which is a bit of a shame as I wanted her so show she could do it by herself and it's perfect as it is. I suppose if it gets more attention though...

 

Could well be Iggy as they are touring together after all? I kind of hope not though -_-
