Kelly Clarkson - Love So Soft
This is the perfect description of it for sure. I can't help but feel like this is a very odd choice of lead single. The video almost makes it work and I can almost see what she was attempting but it ends up feeling very limp and lacking in any kind of memorable hook. I don't hate it and it may grow on me but I think she is above this.

SZA - Quicksand
I am so f***ing excited. Whoever made the soundtrack has impeciable taste. SZA, Kelela, Jorja Smith, Jazmine Sullivan, NAO all on there. Black girl magic indeed.

Nadine Coyle • General Discussion
https://www.acast.com/bizarrelife/nadinecoyle Dan Wooton interview here. He is going for a sensational story, she didn't say anything new out-with what she has said in the past. I also appreciated her saying she would work with them again and clarifying that she was never the victim. She comes across fine in the whole thing I think. Love them playing "bin, shuffle and repeat" with Girls Aloud tracks. She picked exactly the same one's I would pick to. Yes Nadine, best taste. Love her reaction to 'See The Day' "bin it immediately"

Nadine Coyle - Go to Work
Yes. This is very 2014 generic Clean Bandit track, but I have always been a fan of that kinda sound anyway (hence why I wanted Sigala x Ella Eyre to be a hit earlier this year). It ain't groundbreaking but it is a catchy bop for sure. Already better than basically all of Cheryl's output too. Queen Nuhdeen.

'Room For 2' is an utter trash and is the reason why I was put off listening to this album until a good month or two after its release. The fact it scared me off such a great record for so long makes me dislike it even more.

The X Factor ● Series 14
I really don't like the idea of hardly any live shows this series. The live shows are always my favourite bit and having hardly any takes away a lot of the spark for me.

- MELODRAMA RATE - RESULTS -
WTF at 'Sober II' and 'Hard Feelings' out already. Only the best two songs on the album

Jennifer Lopez - The Singles Rate: RESULTS
'Hold It Don't Drop It' is the only real loss so far. I forgot how much I loved it until doing this rate. It's a tune  I honestly think if it didn't flop terribly it would be much better thought of.

'Homesick' is so average. No idea why I saw people calling for it to be a single over on the album thread. It doesn't sound like a hit to me.

RESULTS: Kesha Singles Rate
Why the hell are 'Your Love Is My Drug' and 'Blow' not top 5??? I think they are her best by a good margin :(

RESULTS: Katy B • Rate
'5 AM' is great but it is by no means better than 'Katy On A Mission' or 'Broken Record'. It is definitely slightly overrated on here. 'Crying For No Reason' is her all time best so it must win.

Emotions so deserves the accolade of highest album track. It is just stunning from start to finish.

Jennifer Lopez - The Singles Rate: RESULTS
I thought that 'Try Me' was better received than that middling score. I've always found it to be average and one of the weakest tracks from the 'Everything Is 4' album so always wondered why it was deemed the 'hit' that got away or even as a highlight. Glad I misjudged the level of love.

RuPaul's Drag Race • All Stars 3
So apparently according to the same insider who spilled the elimination line up of the last few series of DR, the 10th queen really is .

Nadine Coyle - Go to Work
Yeah, that is the instrumental. It is the same backing as the 30 second clip we already have. It actually reminds me of 'Chasing The Sun' by The Wanted so far

...Ready For It • 2nd single
This feels very try-hard to me. I am definitely enjoying it far more than LAWYMMD but there is something cringey about it again (especially the verses). '1989' was so praised/well-received because of how natural it all seemed. This era so far has been exactly the opposite.

Sam Smith - The Thrill of It All
Half interested to hear what a Sam Smith and Stargate collab sounds like. Unlike many on here, I can appreciate his talent. He does have an undeniably great voice, it is just that most of the material from his first album was offensively dull.

Fergie - Double Dutchess
t3Qs0gMDOnY The visuals for the songs look fantastic. Maybe when I watch it as a visual album it will sell the songs to me a tad more, I don't know. Also where is the budget coming from for this ? The actual music sounds so cheap and yet the visuals look so expensive.

Jessie Ware — 'Glasshouse'
'Selfish Love' sounds like a long lost Sade track. I honestly think it is one of the best things she has put her name to, so effortless.

'New Romantics' is wonderful and one of her best songs. Some of those top 10 choices, really BuzzJack
-
Jason Derulo - If I'm Lucky
Meh, sounds like a cynical ploy to jump on the Spanish-esque sound to me. Definitely a big step down from the brilliant 'Swalla'. This is average at best and doesn't even sound like anything more than a minor hit.
-
Paloma Faith - Crybaby
This is much better than I expected. I have always found something a bit lacking in Paloma, so we will see if she can win me over this time round. The 'Passionfruit' style instrumental is fun here anyway.

Rita Ora - Phoenix
Apparently Rita said in an interview 'Girls' is gonna be next release and it's coming in October.

Jessie Ware — 'Glasshouse'
The album is called 'Glasshouse' btw. 'Selfish Love' is majestic, what a song/video combo. She is on fire so far this era.
