This is very disappointing for me.

 

Tropical house Fergie is not what I was wanting or needing. Weak.

Really some beautiful songs on here. Her lyrics have come on so much and I can really feel the divorce pain so strongly on here.

 

I have always kind of being willing her to take a bit more of an edgy vibe or even continue along Massive Attack types lines sonically, and I guess I will have to continue waiting as she definitely doesn't do so with this record. 'Hurts' is an obvious highlight due to that, but I am actually content with the somewhat conservative approach she took with this album in the end. I may like some of the sonic choices so much because of my love for gospel choirs though.

 

I'm sure a lot of people will brand this even more "boring" than her first album, but I think it is very true to her and it really is an album with one hell of a heart.

I feel like this album has just become so more important over the last few days.

 

Listening to some of the lyrics now and they have been given even more power and are needed more so than ever.

The popular vote results is making this so much harder to take.

 

It's as though the "rigged system" that Trump talked about actually worked in his favour.

Where has common sense, decency and humanity gone, honestly.

I hate how entitled the white west believes they are. Especially white western men. Absolutely no idea of the luxuries we have by living in some of the richest countries in the world, and yet when not everything is going completely their way they feel hard done by and look to blame other people, whether that be the minorities, the vulnerable, "foreigners" or a corrupt establishment out to get them and ruin their already terribly hard life.

 

Real sad indigtment of our so called 'progressive' outlook.

He is over 2 million in front in the popular vote so I wouldn't be sure that she will win that.

The Ohio results are shocking.

As much as I hoped and prayed that this wouldn't come true I have to say I am surprised at everyone seeming so shocked.

 

The idea that the polls and the predictions could be relied upon, did we learn nothing from Brexit? There will always be a small number of people who will not wish to divulge the fact they are voting for the side that would make them appear 'racist' based on worry of their reputation. It is the reason why Remain polled ahead the whole way and it is the reason that Trump was behind in the polls leading up. That small number when it's as close as this is the percentage points that swing it.

 

I hope that somehow Clinton can still take it but what I had been suspecting for weeks would happen seems to be playing out exactly as I thought :(

I can't believe he is leading in Florida, Ohio and North Carolina. If he takes all, which I think he will, he has that path to the White House.

He's now ahead in Ohio too right now. He is definitely outperforming in these states and it is incredibly worrying to see.

Yeah, Emeli was outstanding last night. One of the best I've seen her perform so no idea why it's made such little impact.

 

I feel like people aren't really here for her second era which is a shame. Hopefully the album can at least sell 500k or there abouts with the Christmas sales helping. Can't see it doing much more than that though in total.

Good climb for Louisa. Stable at #5 on iTunes as well. I can definitely see her climbing a little this week. Glad #20 isn't looking like her peak.

Track on Tinashe's new mixtape 'Nightride' that was co-written by Nicola and you can hear her vocals in the background of the chorus.

 

'Ghetto Boy' is possibly my favourite on the whole mixtape so come through Nicola.

'Versace On The Floor' is so bloody 90's and an absolute triumph.

 

Somehow manages to give me Boys II Men, Mariah Carey, Janet & MJ vibes all at one. Yes :wub:
