Wow such a great start for Tate. I haven’t been a fan until now but this song is so instant! 2023 version of ‘Promiscuous Girl’ vibes. I hope it can climb even more and become a big hit for her. Already imagining a top 2 of ‘Greedy’ and ‘Strangers’ if they keep rising and what a top 2 that would be!!!

Interested in what the first day Spotify figures will be for this… Do we think 50,000 WW streams is too optimistic given the fact it was 10th on NMF?

My only surprise was the fact that ‘Today’ and ‘Beat Is Gone’ were the only ‘Lost Tapes’ tracks. I would have absolutely loved ‘I’m Alright’, ‘Summer of 99’ or even ‘Back In The Day’ added too. I think especially the latter would have gone as a lovely transition from their One Touch melody into their newer stuff.

What an incredible night.. I honestly loved every part of it. I honestly think ‘Beat Is Gone’ might have been my highlight. Keisha’s vocals towards the end on that song was some of her best I’ve ever heard live. She really owned that song, that was Keisha’s moment. The inclusion of ‘Shape’ too was a lovely new addition to their live catalogue. And of course ‘Run For Cover’ being back is of course brilliant.

I am thinking this too now... I can't see her massively outperforming someone like Olivia Rodrigo's first week despite having 'Padam' behind this album. I too am expecting a pretty similar opening number to 'Disco'.

Sadly the material is not there is it? I would love to support her as I really warmed to her personality during Eurovision and I am willing her to do well, but I can't buy an album of material that is this average.

#4 on UK iTunes already. Come on guys get downloading. I would love if we can at least manage a top 75 position officially this time, imagine!

The preview is lovely. The chorus sounds less-poppy that some of their other stuff but beautifully written. Still gives early 00's nostalgia whilst also sounding a lot more mature than some of their previous songs. Can't see it being a hit, but it doesn't matter. It sounds quality and hopefully that means an album is on the way...

Seems silly to me to delay… I understand that they start in Marrakesh but they should be showing how beautiful the city is and even have put a link to donate to the earthquake appeal? I think that could have been a lot more helpful to the people there than not showing it.

I'm predicting a Cara Melle and Ginger Johnson top two for this season. Cara Melle is a massive name in London. Basically one of the best performers in the country - gives Tayce a run for her money as fiercest lip-syncer and has a cracking personality to match. Ginger Johnson I can see already is being massively under-rated by fans. She has done a lot, been around for a long time, including having her own one-woman show in Southbank London. I think she definitely shouldn't be under-estimated as I have wanted her on Drag Race forever. A true comedy and performance queen.

I’m kinda routing for her in a way I wasn’t before now this video is released. She really is putting in maximum effort with this package isn’t she? I kinda want it to do better for her now.

So looks like it would have still been #24 or #25 this week without the CD’s. Would have done 11,450 sales without them. With CD’s adding around 4.6k, if they had been held back for this week we could have seen a sales increase in week 2. Oh well, they went for the higher position strategy and good for them.

Absolutely obsessed with ‘On My Mama’ right now… the video OMG. The rest of the album is strong too but I need to sit with it more I think.

This really feels like ‘Amethyst’ EP part 2 doesn’t it?? Which is no bad thing. This is one for the early mixtape Tinashe fans to loooooove and love it I do!!

Okay, the video is brilliant. It’s so expensive looking and the choreo is everything! They have really dropped the ball with not making this the lead. If that video package had to come to launch her, I think there would have been much more initial hype.

Okay… this is MUCH better than I was expecting from the previews of the first two songs. ‘Gravity’ was everything I was hoping for when I hear she was working with Machinedrum. Already one of her best songs EVER.
