Not buying into it being a hit yet.

I think it would be too soon for Season 8 queens to be in it. We have only just seen them so I think it's better they are saved for Season 3 of All Stars.

 

Thrilled with the line up. Hopefully Phi Phi and Roxxy can somewhat redeem themselves as I do think they are fantastic at what they do, was just a shame they acted so badly in their respective series'. They are so talented though.

 

Katya and Alaska strike me as being the obvious front-runners tbh, feel like as they are such fan favourites they will have a good chance of taking the crown. My heart is with Adore though, want her to really kill it.

 

 

Ah, well that's lovely then and I'll buy it in support of the cause.

 

The song itself is a little Sam Smith-type basic ballad for me but it does have some lovely moments and I love her voice on ballads so much.

Is this Orlando related? Sounds like a tribute song written especially, but maybe I'm just reading too much into it?

 

Nice message if it is and amazing to hear her voice again but she can do way better and I hope it's not for the new album.

Can't decide if I love or absolutely hate the production.

DJ Mustard's new single is out and it's kind of Mustard by numbers but very catchy.

The lazy-esque production and repetitive hook is definitely giving me 'Work' vibes. Seems like the 2016 sound.

Channel 5 have apparently stated he didn't get removed due to the tweets previously. I wonder why then.

He could have made a very entertaining housemate but I am so glad he has been removed. Stands against racism, sexism and homophobia need to be across the board and consistent.

Yeah, I really doubt Season 8 will have any queens in the top 10. I think Bob will likely be in the next few positions.

 

Kim Chi was very strong and I did enjoy her but I didn't fall in complete love with her, mainly just due to the lack of performance and the shy personality being a major problem holding her back.

So happy Naomi managed to come as high as 16th, wouldn't have thought so half way through Season 8.

 

Was always a fan and rooted for her since the start though, she just has such star quality :wub:

Usher is gearing up for the release of his eighth studio album later in the year. Guessing that the likes of 'Good Kisser' etc and the project attached the singles in 2014 was scrapped, as seems like he is finally ready to follow up 2012's 'Looking 4 Myself'.

 

He has never had a brilliant album for me but 'Looking 4 Myself' was definitely his most complete work to date so I am hoping this is at least decent.

 

The first single 'Crash' is out now and the vibe is lovely. Not anything groundbreaking but very nice indeed.

It's a bit shit unfortunately.

Both should definitely be higher than they are. Big fans of the two of them, Yara's aesthetic is one of the best ever. I love her mad hair and I love the contacts she always wears.

 

Detox I wasn't keen on when I first watched the season but with more time passed I started to really appreciate her talent. Some of her looks on the show were incredible and she just has the right levels of bitchy in her personality. I found her cold at first but actually she's rather loveable.

Think this is already my favourite rap release of the year based on just one listen. The life of who??

 

I love how all the tracks offer something different. You have the political intensity of '16 Shots' and then the catchy summer hook of 'Liquor Locker', which is surely a single.

 

I can't remember the last time I heard a rapper be as honest or let it all out quite so much as he does on the title track. Commendable and almost dumbfounding to listen to. Definitely the pinicle of a flawless EP.

Can't stop listening to this, it is just brilliant.

 

So hope that it gets playlisted and can become a hit, it's too good to go under the radar.

Yeah, I do think the mix of characters seems much better than the last few civilian series' anyway. A lot of likeable ones and a lot that could blow up. Let's hope it delivers.
