yeah i think it's a good idea to reduce the price. It helped "Up!" a lot and as soon as the single was Gold it was back to $2.19. I hope they will keep the discount for the 1rst week of sale so we can have a better chance to make the top 10. I just learn that Fifth Harmony from the US x factor will be performing on the UK x factor even if they're kind of unknown over there. I would like if Sammy could get this opportunity too. She already knows Louis and Mel and she's linked to Simon because of x factor australia.

yeah for established artists like guy or jessica, this whole streaming thing will probably not affect them because they are always support by radio stations but for new artists like sammy it will just be a damn mess. Some of them would be lucky if they even make the top 40.

Australia will include streaming in singles chart for the first time from 24 Nov 2014 which means that it will be even harder for aussie artists to chart very high against international artists who chart very high and who have plenty of views with just her name. Just the week when "Sweet Talk" will be released. Australians will need to watch her music video a lot if we want another top 10/20.

A lot of Sony's artists have released these kind of r&b old school type of song. Nathaniel with "Louder", Jessica Mauboy with "Can i get a moment". These kind of songs seem to sell more than pop dance tracks. I really believe it could be her biggest hit or at least be close of WYDTM sales. It reminds me a bit of the r&b roots that she had with "Step Up".

A new song called "Sweet Talk" is registered on the APRA website. Maybe the name of her new single? 3 others songs has also been registered on the APRA's website. All produced by DNA: "Don't Give Up Tonight" — "Just Wanna Dance" — "You Make Me Feel"

"Stand By You" sold 27,666 copies in 3 days. Gold next week and the song seems very steady on iTunes so maybe platinum with the christmas sales. Not bad :)

I see where you're coming from. It took me a while to like Soldier. It's maybe because it's a dark mid-tempo song. Not a club banger like the 3 others.

Yeah it's still summer in Australia so at least her song will fit the right season. I agree, "Up!" is good but out of the 4 others songs she has released, it's my least favorite one too :no: . I want another Firestarter. She's filming the music video next week and male models have been hired.

She said it will be a summer feel good song. Sounds like Up! 2.0.
