"Shake That" is #65 on Shazam. What kind of resurrection :o :D

Yeah this radio support from Nova is really surprising since they never added the song to their playlists back when Shake That was released. So really happy they finally decided to support her. We just need some tv promo again (with Pitbull if possible) and the song could have a second life :)

"Shake That" is being played more and more on radio. The song keeps on rising on iTunes too. Currently #393 (+1 107) on iTunes Australia. We need that x factor performance now :D

From David Fuller on Facebook: So it looks like the theory of giving Shake That a second chance is likely to happen. I can see Sony working things out with radio stations to play the song and Sammy performing the track on X Factor.

^ Shake That underperformed so much that it's almost like the single never existed so if she's performing the song on X Factor, it would be almost like she's launching a new single in the public eyes.

There's no way to me they would cancel the album release on november 20th. Nathaniel was able to release his debut album even with his latest two singles bombing harder than Sweet Talk and Shake That. There's no doubt that even if she's underperforming right now, she has a little selling power as proven with the first week of sales of her latest 2 singles. What she is missing is longevity and longevity can only be provided if if you keep your name out her (aka doing promo). And the end of the year is literrally the only time of the year when there is a lot of shows where you can promote on. People say that she will perform during the finale of the x factor on november 24th, then there is the ARIA Awards (where she can maybe get a slot) and she's the ambassador of this year Carols in the domain. Add to that the christmas sales and she may actually at least go gold with her album. Pushing back the album now would be a even bigger mistake than making us wait 3 years just to get her first original album. For whatever reason, Sony doesn't like to release a new single as soon as the previous one underperformed. There's always a 6 to 8 months gap with them. So that's why i was not surprised they canceled Always. I actually found it weird back then that they would release a new single only 3 months after Shake That. Definitely not their type to do that.

Always has been pushed back to 2016 so if she performs on X Factor, she wont be promoting this song. Shake That revenge is maybe coming :cheer:

They called Firestarter, Soldier and Up! "promo singles" so singles to promote the album so for me these songs will definitely be on the album as bonus tracks or not. Hopefully out of the 12 songs we will get Sweet Talk, Shake That, Always and 9 new tracks and not Firestarter, Soldier, Up!, Sweet Talk, Shake That, Always and only 6 new tracks.
