Which of course means the #1 goes to...
01. Lady Gaga - ARTPOP
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/39/Artpop_cover.png
Top 5 tracks:
01 Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly)
02 Applause
03 Venus
04 Dope
05 G.U.Y. (Girl Under You)
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
My most strongly anticipated album release lived up to the hype and just manages to nab the #1 spot. I'm not gonna pretend I wasn't slightly disappointed on first listen. However, the album is a TRUE GROWER! On first listen it probably would have struggled for top 5, but with a month of listening time I just fell in love with the album. Plus, it filled with sex, what's there not to love! :kink: Do What U Want is probably fast becoming my favourite Gaga track EVER! And G.U.Y. might join it soon enough as it continues to grow on me massively each day. The rest of the album is mostly filled with consistent and solid pop anthems, some may not be the most innovative, however they are just great party songs. Well done Mother Monster! Now hurry up and release the Do What U Want video! :D

02. Naughty Boy - Hotel Cabana
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/76/Hotel_Cabana_cover.png
Top 5 tracks:
01 La La La (feat. Sam Smith)
02 Welcome To Cabana (feat. Tinie Tempah & Emeli Sande)
03 Pluto (feat. Emeli Sande & Wretch 32)
04 Think About It (feat. Wiz Khalifa & Ella Eyre)
05 Get Lucky (feat. Tanika)
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
This is every thing I want in an album! Amazing concept which remains consistent throughout, great promos/videos for the songs and the album, amazing featured artists and some good old hits! 'La La La' really was a genius single choice and should have been the lead single of the album, it was just all kinds of amazingness. Although the use of Emeli Sande on vocals is a little excessive, there are plenty of other artists to keep the balance level. Get Lucky is an amazing cover version, and I actually think it's on par with the original version. Naughty Boy's downright nasty outburst about The Saturdays cost him the #1 spot; I couldn't bring myself to letting him have the position because it would have been the ultimate betrayal to Team Sats!

03. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - The Heist
http://www.whatcomhorizon.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/macklemore-theheist1-e1352882570739.jpg
Top 5 tracks:
01 Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton)
02 Wing$
03 Thrift Shop (feat. Wanz)
04 Make The Money
05 Same Love (feat. Mary Lambert)
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
This duo can't seem to do any wrong at the moment! A very strong album, all the songs worth 8/10 at least, with 7 tracks being 10/10 worthy! There is so much more to them than Thrift Shop, and I'm so glad I checked the album out after that monster hit! Can't Hold Us has grown a little tired from Capital raping it four times a day, however, it still remains an 11/10 and best track on the album. I cannot wait to see what Macklemore & Ryan Lewis release for their second album! :w00t:

04. Little Mix - Salute
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fc/Little_Mix_Salute_(Official_Album_Cover).png
Top 5 tracks:
01 Little Me
02 These Four Walls
03 Move
04 Boy
05 Salute
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
I feel like a traitor to Team Sats, however, Salute really is a fantastic album and much better quality than Living For The Weekend! The girls really surprised me because prior to this album, I only really liked DNA. This album has helped cement them into some Destiny's Child mark II group and I just love it. If the girls' next album produces something on this level, they really could be the next big girl group in history. Plenty of 10/10 moments on this album!

05. Kanye West - Yeezus
http://www.musicomh.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/kanye-west-yeezus-300x300.jpg
Top 5 tracks:
01 Blood On The Leaves
02 New Slaves
03 Bound 2
04 Black Skinhead
05 Hold My Liquor
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
Never did I think I'd place a Kanye West album so high on my end of year chart, but I have! Once I got over the initial pretentiousness, the album was just all kinds of amazingness. Blood On The Leaves is a true standout and I'm disappointed it wasn't used as the lead 'single', but at least we got that fantastic VMA performance! Most of the album is worth at least 7/10, it was just the lack of artwork which stopped it from reaching any higher in this chart.

Hello Ms.
Sorry missed the singles, but obviously liking the Gaga. Shocked (pleasantly) at 'Dark Horse' being so high! It is a highlight off the album though, so hoping for big things off it this year.
And 100% thumbs up for the albums so far. 'Ciara' really shocked me (with the correct top 2 tracks here) and 'Magna Carta...' was decent too; 'Nickels and Dimes' being my favourite off there. Not used to vulnerable Jay Z but it's just a BEAUTY
Hiya. Ciara shocked me too, was the surprise amazing album of 2013 for me. And I didn't release how high Dark Horse was either till I compiled the chart!

06. The Saturdays - Living For The Weekend
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-A-h-_bLvMsU/UmF9CrjGElI/AAAAAAAAAQ0/HkZrGsYJmRg/s1600/The_Saturdays_Living_for_the_Weekend_(Official_Album_Cover).png
Top 5 tracks:
01 What About Us (feat. Sean Paul)
02 Not Giving Up
03 Wildfire
04 Disco Love
05 Leave a Light On
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
Shocked? :o So am I that I decided to place The Saturdays here! But unfortunately is a well-deserved low placing after their latest album failed to live up to the amazing standard set by On Your Radar. Unfortunately, there is a lack of flow and consistency of quality in this album. How a track as weak as Problem With Love can feature alongside the flawless Not Giving Up is beyond me! I wish I could have placed them higher, but the top 5 albums have much better concepts, execution and quality. #FlopFan

07. Justin Timberlake - The 20/20 Experience
http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Justin-Timberlake-The-20_20-Experience-Deluxe-Version-2013-1200x1200-300x300.png
Top 5 tracks:
01 Mirrors
02 Tunnel Vision
03 Strawberry Bubblegum
04 Suit & Tie (feat. JAY Z)
05 Pusher Love Girl
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
The amazing comeback album of JT manages to land just ahead of his multiple duet partner at #7. The first part of the album is far superior to the 2 of 2 version, which only really features TKO and Drink You Away as a standout tracks. However, the original was an R&B masterpiece in how to make an impact following a 7 year gap from your last album.

08. JAY Z - Magna Carta...Holy Grail
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/87/Magna_Carta_Holy_Grail_cover.png
Top 5 tracks:
01 Holy Grail (feat. Justin Timberlake)
02 Part II (On The Run) [feat. Beyonce]
03 BBC (feat. Nas, Beyonce, Pharrell, Justin Timberlake & Timbaland)
04 f***withmeyouknowigotit (feat. Rick Ross)
05 Heaven
Last Year: N/A [Released in 2013]
Rap power-house JAY Z becomes the second rapper to feature on the top 10 countdown. The quick release of Magna Carta...Holy Grail was a nice treat in Summer this year. The lead single, with the vocals of the gorgeous Justin Timberlake, quickly became one of my favourite tracks of 2013 too, however, only featured at #63 on the singles of the year due to reasons specified above. JAY Z brought it with this album, and hopefully Part II (On The Run) will get a single release before Mr Carter decides to move on to his next project!

09. Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded (& The RE-UP)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/2a/Nicki_Minaj_-_Pink_Friday_Roman_Reloaded_-_The_Re-Up.jpg
Top 5 tracks:
01 High School (feat. Lil Wayne)
02 The Boys (feat. Cassie)
03 Starships
04 Marilyn Monroe
05 Up In Flames
Last Year: :no1:
Last year's #1 manages to enter for a second year, although much lower than Adele's 21 which held top 2 for two years running. It's fair to say 21 is not in the chart this year. However, THE RE-UP and it's single releases at the start of 2013 has helped Queen Nicki remain very high in my album chartings of the year. I don't think we'll be Nicki Minaj-less for next year's chart since Ms Minaj is due to release another album soon!

ARTPOP RATE
in Lady Gaga
09 | Aura
10 | Venus
10 | G.U.Y.
09 | Sexxx Dreams
10 | Jewels N Drugs
09 | MANiCURE
11 | Do What U Want
06 | ARTPOP
07 | Swine
06 | Donatella
05 | Fashion
06 | Mary Jane Holland
10 | Dope
10 | Gypsy
10 | Applause
The first half of the album is incredible and so are the final three songs. It would be her best album, for me, if she cut those run of five average songs from ARTPOP to MJH.
